The Grand Reveal [Social | Itsuki Grannon | Mika Zonde]

It had only been minutes since a mage had left the confines of the nearby ruins. They were full of caves and he had just finished exploring one to find the treasures hidden within. Of course, this treasure seem to be a measly ruby necklace. Gothic in design, it seemed like it was rather underwhelming for most quests the mage could have gone on. Perhaps there was something more valuable to it, or lore behind it the mage, promptly named Itsuki, did not know. He would have to figure it out at some point. But for now, the sun was setting, and he would be entering the forest between the ruin and the civilization. It wouldn't be a long trek, most definitely not for any mage. All he had to do was make it back to his abode.

Though, as the sun got closer and closer to being beyond the horizon, there would be small...odd noises coming from behind Itsuki. At first they were barely noticeable, but as time went on, they got louder and louder. If he changed his speed, so would the noises. Sadly, he couldn't see anything.

Itsuki was approaching a clearing that he could be in and see for a-ways away to find what was after him. He just had to make it away from whatever was following, whether it was beast, man, or something worse.

Itsuki continued down the road, into the rather large clearing. It was an odd circle of just field, no trees. There was a 200 feet open in all directions around him in this small clearing. He hadn't heard the noises for a few seconds, but something within him told him the situation was about to come to a head.

As he got to the center of the clearing, men started to appear around the edges. They were wearing rough, leather clothing...weapons sheathed at the side. Honestly, they were the textbook definition of bandits. They seem to cover every section of the way out, about twenty of them in total. Some of them were grinning, thinking they got an easy rob here. Just take the money off the person and be done.

"Ah, would ye' look at that lads, 'es surrounded and can't get out. Be a good kiddo for us and gimme that jewelry and all yer money. It'll make this be a lot less bloody."

The voice resonated from a man more directly in front of Itsuki. This one was wearing chainmail armor, and was more decently dressed. His hair was short and brown, and his face mean and angry. He had a short sword at his side. This was obviously the leader of the gang. Itsuki was highly outnumbered...

The bandits slowly approached him.

[OOC: Remember to get the necklace bloody by getting attacked or giving an attack out so I can hop into the battle. This fight will be a bit gory.]

The leader seemed to laugh out loud. "Eh? What an easy pickin' we got tonight boys. Garl, get the necklace and whatever valuables 'e 'as and we'll get outta here."

One of the guys to the right of the man who just spoke grinned and approached the boy in front of them.

"Come 'ere kiddo and gimme that necklace, " he stated in a hoarse, malevolent voice. There was no emotion other than pure malevolence in these people voices. They were not redeemable. All they wanted was to hurt others. One was nearly upon Itsuki, what shall he do?

The man approaching Itsuki fell back, holding his chest as his muscles visibly twitched from the electricity. The burly man wasn't mortally wounded, and wasn't anywhere close to disposed of yet. But, the electricity had locked him up for a good few seconds.

The leader in the back scoffed, "So the kid is a mage eh? Where's your hat with a bunny in it kiddo? Waddaya blokes doing just standing here, take care of'em, its just a kid." The leader spoke in a confident, harsh mocking tone towards Itsuki, it could be construed as rather infuriating as well.

The circle got closer to Itsuki, and two other bandits walked towards him. However, the one he had shocked spoke up, "Ah ya fuckin' kid I'll cut you for that!" he nearly yells, drawing a short sword from a sheath on his side. He came up upon the kid quickly, giving him little time to react.

The man that slashed Itsuki stepped back, seeming confused from the wires. "The hell?" could be heard muttering under his breath. They weren't expecting a mage, but some kind of cyborg...robot thing? That was totally something you did not see everyday.

However, the leader wasn't honestly fazed. He had seen some odd stuff throughout his life, and this wasn't the worst he had seen. Though, it was still a shock to him.

This isn't even mentioning the projected ally Itsuki had just gained. The leader, shaking his head, sighed and simply stated, "I am bored of this scene. The kid had tricks up his sleeves yeah, but go finish'em off now lads."

A few more men got closer to Itsuki, and in the midst of the pain, confusion, and fight, no one noticed the ruby necklace fall to the ground, towards the leader, glowing a dull, dull red.

The bandits looked rather confused now. They couldn’t even hit the kid! They had highly underestimated him. However, the problem was, he wasn’t able to deal enough damage out to the bandits. Electricity hurts, however to these hardened criminals, electricity wasn’t too effective on them. However, the bandit leader stepped forward, looking down at the ground.

“Whats this? Drop yer valuable kid?” He grinned; the electricity not affected him much anymore.
Bending down, he goes to pickup the bloody necklace…however, something stops him. He quickly goes to grab it, yet…something stops his hand. Like a small field around the necklace.

“The hell? Why can’t I pick this u---“ Before he could even say a word, the necklace started to glow a bright red. Before anyone could see what was happening, Itsuki’s AI told him there was another life form in the area, coming from the jewelry. What in the hell was going on?
Suddenly, a bright flash of light would happen, blinding everyone except well, the pixelized form of Itsuki and his AI, Kioku. When everyone could see again something...rather…strange, at least what most people could call strange happened.

There was a figure, short in stature and wearing what seemed to be a simple black dress. The figure was short, maybe around only five foot tall, with pink hair and some form of non-human like ears. Around the back of the neck, you could see the small wire which was around the necklace earlier; she seemed to be wearing it.

This life form had just come from the jewelry Itsuki had claimed only hours ago. Was that why it was considered valuable?

The figure seemed to be in a dazed and confused state, and the bandit leader could be heard yelling at it, trying to take the piece of jewelry from it. However, it was the worst mistake of his life when he drew his blade to attack the newcomer. Before his blade reached the figure it grabbed his hand. His eyes drew wide and scared. Dragging herself up while still holding his arm, it pulled him close. The leader made one last noise, a scream, before it stopped. It sunk her fangs into the man, killing him.
Everyone except the mage could only look on in horror…before steeling themselves and moving towards the figure to fight it.

The figure proved to be female in stature once it stood up. This thing was a vampire it seemed, trapped within the necklace for reasons.

[OOC: Im so sorry this post was a bit big and I may have overstepped my grounds ;( ]

As the leaders sullen face turned a pale white, the woman stopped feeding off the human, pulling her mouth off his neck. A bit of blood had been pooled on the ground in front of her. Everyone except Itsuki seemed to be frightened by the experience. The leader's lackeys weren't going to retreat though. Who cares if it was a vampire, it was twenty...well...nineteen versus one.

Any smart man would have run or stayed on the offensive but...these bandits were the smartest of people, or even criminals. They had no magic, they barely had armor. The most offensive material they had were various knives and short swords. They had barely any offensive capatbility to a mage or something along the lines of a demon. Though, they seemed not to understand that concept. The one that had been directly attacking Itsuki got to her first. However, before he could even swipe with his sword, the woman grabbed his neck, holding him up with one arm.

This allowed Itsuki to get a good look at the lifeforms face. It was definitely female, with a soft face. No older than himself actually. However, the person looked tired, but...mostly...scared. Scared because it was in a new place, it didn't know what was going on, and it was immediately attacked. Perhaps Itsuki could use a peaceful approach after it cleared the bandits. It was short, and had a rather thing figure. There was still blood on it's face from feeding.

But, let's get back into the gorier of the details. The man that had first charged the vampire had been thrown against a tree. Let's say a not-so-pleasant cracking noise had followed after. And it wasn't the tree breaking.

Suddenly, all the other men were upon her at once, horrible odds to fight at. And while I will spare you the..rather gorey details, let me say this. There was one survivor to this fight. And, spoiler alert, it was the vampire. It wasn't merciful either. Once the fight had fully started, a dark black aura appeared around it's hands, making its melee attack's super powerful, to the point where she was, uhm, I'll spare the details but, a hand through the chest is not very healthy for humans.

For the ones that hadn't run off when the fight went south, they were dead, in a blood heap on the ground, limbs detached and blood running into a pool around the woman. She had some of the red substance on her, yes, but some of it slid off her dress. After disposing of the last one, her eyes darted up to Itsuki, daring him to come after her as well...

She didn't know what was going on. Where she was, what these things were or...who she even was. She knew nothing. Only that she had been attacked and had to defend herself.

The girl flinched as he clapped and approached. It was like he was approaching a feral animal. However, in her cloudy, amnesiac brain, she knew his gestures meant something nice, not an attack. Reluctantly, she stuck her hand out, and shook his lightly.

He understood what he said but...she had a hard time trying to come up with her own words. Being trapped inside a necklace in a coma for hundreds of years drained her knowledge. She didn't know who, what, where, why, and even when.

Due to this, the women still seemed bewildered, only able to push out. "Where....am I.....who...am...I?" She talked in a hoarse, high voice.

Upon closer inspection of the vampire, he could see it most definitely only humanoid. It seemed to have animal-like ears on its head as well. It was obvious something was more wrong than just spawning from a piece of jewelry. Perhaps Itsuki could help this spawn...it would most likely be very grateful.

The girl watched him closely, shying away from the hand for only a moment before she realized he was going to pet her. Her face changed from the confused frown to a light, weary smile. It seemed to rather enjoy the feeling of being pat.

Instantly, the girl seemed to relax in the presence of Itsuki. Perhaps she felt safe from the bandits, or has just recognized the man, Itsuki, as a non threat...Continuing the weary smile, she listens to his speech, understanding most of it.

This opportunity, if used right, could provide Itsuki with a rather longterm, powerful ally that was loyal for the services he could provide to help her. It seemed that was the route he was going to take though.

The girl only responds with a tired, "Mhm..." unable to come up with anything else to convey agreeance. She certainly seemed way too weary to attack anyone at this point, and she herself realized that she needed help...she wouldn't attack this...uh, well, she actually did know what Itsuki was...
