    Job Title: iLac
    Rank: D Rank
    Player Requirements: Any Rank
Job Requirements: 500 words per player
    Job Location: Neutral Grounds
Job Description: A brand new device called the iLac has come out and the manufacturer is giving them away to anyone who visits the factory in Neutral Ground. Keep in mind, as soon as you step foot on Neutral Ground territory, all your magic (Primary, Secondary, Weapons, Armour, Pets, Unique Abilities, Passive Effects) is instantly shut down. But that's no problem because all you're doing is picking up your brand new iLac.

    Reward: 1x iLac for everyone

iLac is a lacrima that functions like our real world cell phones. It can access lacrima-net, but CANNOT grant the user access to OOC information on other players. It can grant the user the ability to contact any other player who also owns an iLac providing that other player gave the caller their Lacrima Identification Code (phone number). The iLac also has a calendar, calculator, HP and MP tracker, stopwatch, alarm, and any other fun applications (that do not permit your character to know OOC information on another character) you can think of. It also has a Sorcerer's Weekly app installed.

The towering skyscrapers of the Neutral Grounds were able to be spotted from leagues away, their beautifully engineered steel foundations allowing for exponentially bigger building projects than were common around the rest of Fiore. Such amazing feats of construction were especially rare for Juliana to see during her travels, considering that the majority of villages she stopped by featured thatched roofs and wooden or clay walls. Humble accommodations were typically very pleasant and cozy, however, and so the slender mage had more than a bit of nervous anticipation as she cautiously approached the gates of the Neutral Grounds. They were thinly twisted bars of stainless steel, woven into an intricate design that took one’s breath away. That metal could be so delicate in appearance but have such sturdy and unyielding a core... it truly took Julia’s breath away. After all, this type of solid yet elegant strength was something she strived for in herself!

Four guards were standing post at these majestic gates, and the group allowed the slip of a girl to pass through without any worries; after all, physical strength was the only concern the security here had while dealing with intruders. Passing through the boundaries of the Neutral Grounds, Julia felt the slight buzz of magic within her which was always present under her skin, disappear. Famously known for being a safe haven for all those who rejected magic and preferred purely technological advances, the modern and bustling city stripped all those entering of their arcane power. She shivered slightly, her brow creasing as Lissy’s presence also faded away from within the back of her mind. Thankfully, it seemed that The Box was unable to function; perhaps it would be well worth it to find a place to stay within the Neutral Grounds, as it seemed it had the potential to remove her illness. However, Lissy would also be eradicated... either way, now was not the time to be debating such things.

According to a flyer she had glimpsed, crumpled and visible in the half-gaping mouth of a businesswoman’s purse, there was an abundance of iLacs available for free so long as one ventured to the Neutral Grounds and requested one at the manufacturer’s address. Crossing her fingers, Julia hoped with all her might that their inventory of the devices had not yet run dry. Perhaps it was a foolish thing to admit, but Julia had originally believed the iLacs to be some type of flower which had a pigment in its petals akin to a lighter shade of the mage’s long, purple locks. Either way, she had discovered by overhearing a conversation that it was indeed actually an electronic device, much desired by the general population. Many mages were unwilling to enter, however, so with any luck, the girl hoped to snatch one from the stock before people realized how valuable they actually were, particularly for communication purposes. Finally, Julia reached the factory and was immediately handed a chunky, smooth covered-cardboard package, which she resolved to rip open as soon as she was out of sight of the worker on duty. He had given her a dubious look, as if expecting the relatively expensive device to be wasted on a homeless urchin such as herself; regardless, she now had it.

Allowing herself a small smile of triumph, the mage left the factory and started back towards the entrance of the Neutral Grounds, attempting not to bump into the crowds and people waiting in line. It seemed that due to a stroke of luck, she had managed to get in and out before rush hour.
