After dispatching that group of bandits, Vargas found he still had some stuff left to be done in Hargeon Town. Basically, he had gotten the idea that, now that he had some money, he could finally get that damned passport which had previously been denied when he had attempted to come to Fiore. He did not know why he'd even need it at that time, and he wondered how things would go for him given that, as a guildless mage, he was not doing things in the Council's way, but was rather a private wizard for who could pay the right amount... and sometimes, just for charity and the laughs.

Vargas had to ask a couple of citizens for directions again, to get to the government's division, wherever that could be. It did not take him that long to get there from the port, since it was the most important part of Hargeon Town. Still, what amazed him was the tremendously loooooong queue, which even turned a couple corners. The Seig then facepalmed and groaned in annoyance, knowing what the deal was. -"Haaah... it's gonna be my whole day isn't it?" -the young man thought, hoping that time would pass a bit faster than usual; nothing more than the dellusion of a man who hated to stand around doing absolutely nothing.

While in the line, and apart from all the old people, happy families, lovey-dovey couples going for a honeymoon and the classical stuff, the Seig saw some fellow mages, who happened to be talking about the passport. If he heard correctly, they also allowed you to go doing jobs in other parts of the world, even outside of Fiore. That was pretty awesome for him... just imagine! His... agency, out in the international market! The stream of clients jostling to enter in his store made him shiver in emotion. He'd have so much fun and earn so much money it was hard to contain himself! However, he chose to stay in Earthland, and focus on getting the passport first, then everything later on.

In the end, due to some kind of intern problem, everyone was beginning to get nervous, and in the end, what began with some voice tones rising in discontent ended up with the masses jostling against each other in order to get their hands on the passport. Vargas's attention got caught by the spectacle that had been created further in line, and decided that he had been waiting for too long. He had been blessed with a rather big physique, and he planned on using every inch of it. The male easily towered above most of them, and his weight, mostly due to his muscle mass, would prevent him from being pushed around. With a sigh, he walked towards the counter, making his way without that much trouble.

As Vargas approached to the counter, some crazed out lovers tried to cut in line. When he was just about to tell them, the other male delivered an elbow blow to his gut... which prompted the Seig to touch him in the shoulder. As the man turned in annoyance, he found himself under the heavy glare and sinister smile of the white haired mage, who was more than ready to go at it at that very spot so he could shake out the boredom of his body. That was easily enough to convince the man that he had attempted to impose his strength on the wrong buddy, so he simply let him pass. Vargas would them lean on the counter, ignoring those pushing against him, and asked for his passport.
However, Vargas would then face an unbeatable enemy: bureaucracy, coupled with a tired, apathic secretary. The following hour would be spent there, with Vargas trying his best to not lose his patience and send his hard efforts to waste in a flash. In the end, however, he payed the fee and was granted his passport.
-"Fuck off. Being a stow-away was heaven compared to this hell."
At least he wouldn't have to do it again... right?
