Magic
Primary Magic: Golden Ash.
Secondary Magic: N/A.
Caster or Holder: Caster.
Description: Golden ash is a fairly strange magic, it doesn’t function like many magic’s which could be considered fire, and instead is far more flexible. Typically golden ash bends to the users whims, which could be considered good or bad for those on the opposite end of the magic. Focusing upon mobility, and graceful yet harsh attacks, this magic isn’t one to be tossed around casually as frequently many of the attacks create large areas covered in ash that explode outward in violent and beautiful displays, which the mobility requires correct timing to take full advantage. This magic doesn’t focus too much on status effects, typically the only effect being limiting healing of those affected by the magic, or increasing the damage they take. Like other fire magic’s, golden ash can deal additional burning damage, but it is far rarer than other magic’s of the same type. Golden ash also tends to focus upon the users intuition and thoughts about friends and foes, allowing for a variety of control on who gets affected in what way from various spells, leading to the magic getting a bit of an impulsive edge to it. Finally due to Scarlet, the user of the magic’s, own phoenix blood the magic tends to be enriched with a sort of flavor that slayers would find delectable if they are in her good graces, and slightly foul if they are in her contempt.
Scarlet tends to use this magic to be as flashy as possible. She could still help her friends, and hinder her allies, but it is all for not if it wasn’t flashy and fun. Highly reckless and impulsive she will frequently drop spells upon allies and foes alike, just to appear more flashy, and she tends to like to dance around her opponents with the various mobility effects. This leads to very hap hazardous usage of the magic which tends to put all at risk around her when she uses her magic, well if she doesn’t take the proper precautions and dislikes you that is.
Strengths:
- Royal: Golden Ash magic due to Scarlet has the origin of a phoenix. The flavor of Scarlets magic is very enjoyable to those slayers whom she is friendly with, while those who aren’t in good graces instead find it tasting foul. The rules for consumption aren’t affected in anyway.
- Impulsive: Golden ash magic follows the impulsive whims of its owner. Users of golden ash magic can manipulate it flawlessly without the need for thought or movement.
Weaknesses:
- Water: Golden Ash magic is slightly weak to water, with the spells taking 25% more damage from a spell that was originally water based.
- Flashy: If you can’t see a giant cloud of golden ash that is burning and flickering with life, then there is almost no real hope for you to avoid any attack.
- Cloud Based: Almost all of golden ash magic has some form of cloud effect to it, which can hinder allies line of sight, makes it more obvious as stated above, and makes spells ranges abundantly clear if one pays enough attention.
Lineage:
- Commander Aura:
Commander Aura:
Description: There was once a great general who served for the king of Fiore. He was a great tactician and his mere presence boosted the morale of his men. With him in the front lines, Fiore had won many battles against invading nearby countries. Eventually peace was achieved so his services were no longer needed. So the general settled down and got married. Some of his progenies became very good commanders, but that is entirely a different story.
Ability: The user gains two abilities. Commander's Presence and The strategist.
Commander's Presence increases the morale and fighting spirit of their allies. Making them all immune to Fear and very bold, capable of charging into certain death without fear with only the faint hope of survival. In return, they all gain 5% HP Regen and don't experience fatigue while near the user.
The strategist boosts the user's ability to make sound and well devised tactics. Their plans are favored by fortune and fate with higher likelihood of working smoothly. A guard might be asleep at their post of the castle they're sneaking into or so on. It has little effect towards other players however, so invading a castle owned by another player will be just as difficult as though this ability were not in place.
Usage: Commander’s Presence has a 5 post duration with a 6 post cooldown and The Strategist is a passive ability.
Unique Abilities:
- Benevolent Malice: Spells and abilities that Scarlets uses are both spiteful to those whom she dislikes, and beneficial to those whom she likes. Any spell or ability used by Scarlet that would normally deal damage, can instead provide healing, and any spell that can provide healing can instead provide damage. If Scarlet spends an extra 5%MP on top of the normal amount for the spell/ability (unless the spell/ability would cost her 0% naturally such as an S rank casting a C rank etc.) then she can pick and choose the effects upon those hit. For healing and damage simply use the normal amount that a spell would deal in damage, ignore modifiers if it is changed from its original purpose (I.e. a spell that normally heals for 20HP and she has an effect that boosts healing, if she swapped it to damage it would only deal 20HP of damage, even if she had a damage buff, etc.).
- Ashen Dust: Scarlet’s body can be formed into that of her magic, a golden ash. This ash is as durable and powerful as her rank (but not for spells they have their own rank), and has the same strengths and weaknesses as the magic itself. Whenever part of her body is turned into ash, it doesn’t have its normal bodily functions impeded, and functions normally, with the addition of her not needing to breathe. In addition Scarlet can freely create ash from her body, using the same rules are previously stated.
- Golden Radiance: Scarlet can radiate with a golden aura around both her body and magic. Out of this Aura Scarlet can form wings of ash to fly, and gives all of her spells a “burning” effect upon them, increasing their damage or healing by 5%, with it increasing by 5% per rank above D (So 10% at C rank, 15% at B rank, 20% at A rank, 25% at S/SS rank, and 30% at H rank). Those who are immune to burning effects don’t suffer increased damage.
Spells:
- Spoiler:
- D-Ranked Spell:
- Name: Golden Bloom.
Rank: D.
Type: Offensive.
Duration: 3 posts.
Cooldown: 4 posts.
Description: Scarlet manifests a small grove of golden roses underneath her within a 15 meters radius. The golden roses begin to unleash ash from themselves which can be exploded at any time up to the duration of the spell. Those caught in the blast suffer a D ranks worth of damage. Alternatively the ash can be saved and used in/for other spells as well, though if the ash of this spell is exploded the other spell immediately ends.
Strengths: - Causes solid damage.
- Can be used with other spells.
Weaknesses:- Is fairly obvious.
- Is ground based.
- If the ash is exploded then any spells that were using it immediately end as well.

Rank: D.
Type: Supplementary.
Duration: 3 posts.
Cooldown: 4 posts.
Description: Once every post Scarlet can disappear into an ashen veil, and re appear up to 15 meters away from her previous location. This spell leaves ash behind whenever she was previously, which can be used as a catalyst for other spells/abilities.

Weaknesses:- Can only teleport once per post.
- Doesn’t provide any real bonuses other than the teleporting.
- Name: Combustion machine.
Rank: D.
Type: Offensive.
Duration: 3 posts.

Description: Scarlet creates a projectile firearm out of ash within her hands. The projectile fires condensed balls of ash that upon making impact with the opponent explode into a small cloud. Scarlet can teleport to the cloud, in addition to the clouds causing the opponent to suffer 25% extra damage from other spells/abilities that Scarlet uses. Those who are C rank instead suffer 12.5% additional damage, and those who are B rank or higher don’t suffer any other effect. The maximum range of the projectiles is 15 meters, at which point they will explode into a cloud that she can teleport too even if they “miss” the target. Scarlet can only teleport once per post. The ash projectiles travel at half of the spells range in speed.
Strengths:- Allows Scarlet to teleport to the ash projectiles impact zone once per post.
- Enemies take increased damage from her other spells/abilities depending on their rank. (see spell proper).
Weaknesses:- The increased damage only applies when one is hit by an ash projectile.
- The projectiles are fairly slow.
- Those of higher rank won’t suffer as much from the damage buff against them.

Description: Scarlet unleashes an ash cloud around her in a wave that heals within 15 meters of herself, restoring 20 HP to them.
