    Job:

This man... He does not treasure life too well now does he. Ignite, I can't do this job. Elyx would tell her as he walked to the edge of the Black Rose guild borders, the She Phoenix already took the job for them already. A new set of equipment would be in his possession now for such missions, things called "Tactical Weapons", which was a new project for Black Rose. And lucky him, since he had hit H rank, he got to be the little hamster that got to test them. Of course, those tactical weapons would be nothing without Bound Iris, his trusty blade, the Celestial Key Pouch, the items that allowed him to open his contract with Celestial Spirits, and Ignite, the She Phoenix. She would tilt her head and smile to him. You are the one who values life more than I do. I don't mind dealing the final blow. This is what the man wants, or would you rather let him suffer. As it is, there is no value to his life, which is the reason why one should live according to you, right? Ignite would ask, her palms behind her head as she looked up towards the bright blue sky. The sun was bright today, showing that there was still a plentiful amount of time before it would even begin to start to set. How unfortunate that they would have to go to the Ancient Ruins.

It just feels wrong Ignite, is there truly no way to get him out of there? Elyx would ask, a bit of hope left in him. It was a candle in the wind however, Ignite would shake her head so absolutely. She'd pull out the paper from her left pocket before lightly tapping it with the back of her fingers. It won't be that easy. According to this, not even the best of mages have been able to get him out of here. You may perform miracles, but this is just impossible for even a Deity, let alone an Elyx, which is a human.

Her feet swung below her as she looked up at the sky, there was not a cloud in the sky, yet a soft breeze would tickle her hair past her ears. A graceful smile would grace the lips of the girl before her eyes would close and the young pinkette woman would take in a deep breath causing for her chest to rise and fall. She had taken a job today, however it was not just any job. She was taking the job with a legal mage. She had done her research on the legal guilds. It was pretty much a need to know on who was in every guild for the girl, she didn't want to accidentally kill in front of one of them and then have to sent to jail because of her own stupidity.

Her magenta eyes flickered open and the girl looked back up at the sky before her hand moved to her keys, running her fingers along them and chuckling to herself softly as they tingled against her fingers in response. Her spirits loved her as she loved them just the same. Taking in another deep breath the pinkette closed her eyes with it and then opened them once she let the air escape from her lips. Her hands slid over the tiles of the roof and she began to push herself up. She was on the roof of one of the many towers of the castle of the Tartaurus guild. She had been a part of this guild for a long time now and she knew that she would never leave. She was going to help it bring it to a kingdom that would rival that of Magnolia and Fiore. With a grin now on her lips the girl moved to push herself off of the roof and to the landing that was only a few meters below her.

This man did not really clarify how dangerous a job this might have been. Or rather, how carefully. How would he know what a B ranked job was like, while he might have been as strong as the Existence Cannon. All right, a bit overestimated considering he somehow can't get himself out of the chambers he was sealed inside of. But then... They would need some sort of backup. A mage could give them an assist, just in case the man they needed to slay did not know their own magic. But where... Where would they find a mage that would be willing to take such risks? Confused on where to look first, they'd stand in motion. The Slayer crossed his arms and looked downwards onto the grassy ground, his eyes staring at a random stick as he was in deep thought. However, the She-Phoenix placed his arms upwards, folded behind her head so her palms would meet the back of her fiery red hair, and her head was held up high, purple eyes locking with a cloud as she was nowhere near close to thought. One in a relaxed state, and one in a confused state as to what were to happen now.

We need to bring someone along with us. The brunette-haired mage would declare, returning his head back to a neutral state. Ignite would just shrug, not really caring. Where could one go to in order to recruit members? Previously, they had met a very nice mage named Enola, a gentle maiden who seemed to have no problems with dealing with monsters, despite her lack of esteem. Then again... There was the freaky Reptile thing that was her pet... And also tried to seduce him at that time. Just that moment of thought cause him to squint, cringing painfully before slowly getting over it. Where they had met the mages, a fountain in the town of... Nope, no name could be recalled. It had been a while since they last went to the city, and going there to confirm the name would be a waste of time.

Why not try to meet up with a mage at the Ruins? I doubt we are the only ones taking the job. The She-Phoenix would suggest, not even batting a glimmer of movement from the cloud that her eyes locked onto. Was it putting her in some sort of trance? Regardless, the idea was a risky, but effective idea at the same time. Without saying a word, he'd begin to make way for the Ruins, clearly agreeing with her idea.

Her feet silently landed on the landing that was below her and she stood up straight with a stretch of her arms. She was going have to get out of the castle without a trace, she couldn't have anyone finding out that she was going on a mission with a legal mage. The girl looked around and took one step before leaping to the roof that was only a couple feet below the landing. She of course had to go over the railing and she could hear her keys softly jingle as they made contact with it. The moment that she landed on the roof the girl froze and made sure that once again she was quiet. With one last reassuring breath the girl took off running. Her keys were not jingling as she ran, hidden in the folds of her skirt.

She leaped from roof top to another section of roof before reaching the lowest part of the crumbled castle. One hand reached out and her fingers gripped onto the stone before she swung her body down, arcing it gracefully before landing on her feet and her hands following softly afterwards. She was on the west side of the castle and it was not a straight line to her destination. With one last look around the girl took off in a sprint. She would have to get away from the castle as fast as possible without using her magic cause the moment that she did then someone else in the guild would know that she was leaving and they might go to follow her. One foot quickly followed the other as she raced down the hill and into the trees before finally coming to a stop and slowly coming to a walk. Her magenta orbs scanned around her and she tried to sense if anyone had followed. They hadn't. With a deep breath the girl set off in the direction that she needed to go. The Ancient Ruins.

The fact that he remembered Yuni would connect to the fact that there were Celestial Spirits. That was a possibility, they do add extra branches, but they are just temporary and can eat at his magic power provided they stay out for too long. Having them out would sacrifice his own body, which he had unfortunately had happened one time, paralyzing him and damaging him for a while before he eventually was freed since one of the Celestial Spirits had to go home. This was all while he was in a fight. Perfect timing. What they needed was an actual mage, one that had no problem with fighting in numbers than just one, or whatever they usually go with. But as it is, finding any mage would be difficult.

One thing that has changed recently was his shift of magic power. It tends to scare those around him, sending them running away in terror. Despite reaching a desperate palm out to them, calling towards them to tell them they had the wrong idea, they would just evacuate in terror. This did not apply to all beings, but those who had the cowardice personality had no problem with doing so. Maybe that was what would happen when they got to the Ancient Ruins, no mage to be seen or sensed. Maybe they had subtle amounts of magic power? Oh how a mage could only hope. Still however, regardless of a new partner or not, he'd walk in with Ignite right behind him.

Her body never stopped moving, not for one second. Her pink hair fluttered past her ears with each step and the girl continued to make her way to the Ancient Ruins. She was far away from the guild hall that she had initially left and was on a constant track to her destination. She knew that she could probably walk now that she was far enough from the guild hall but that wasn't going to stop her she knew that there were always eyes for Tartaurus everywhere. Whether it be an actually guild member hidden in plain sight or a informant so that the guild members didn't actually have to go out and ask around and looks suspicious.

Her feet placed one in front of the other she was actually quite close to her destination now and she could see it quickly approaching. But that wasn't the only thing that was approaching as well. A magical sense was quickly on the rise. It was powerful. Almost too powerful. The pinkette had never felt that kind of magic ever in her life. Not even Gil had this kind of magic. The girl could only hope that she would never have to run into the own- Celestial Magic. It was intermixed with the other magic and yet she could feel it due to her own magic.

The keys at her hip tingled against her skin through her skirt folds, they knew that there was a person here that used Celestial magic as well and they knew that it was also coming from the large magic that nearby, that the young woman was quickly approaching.

If the large magic wasn't moving Lamya had a bad feeling of what was going to happen and all she could think was don't let it be true.

The keys inside of the leather pouch were jingling in the silent cave, or what was once silent. Their breaths, steps, and those keys now echoed while inside of the ruins. They decided to take on the man slowly, he wanted an honorable death after all. Ignite, she had no problem with executing the task. Her light made things rather hard, considering she was glowing in the darkness. Though they can see their surroundings a bit, surely, they are also easy to pick from a crowd since a lightbulb was suddenly shining in the ruins. Bad idea. There was one key that could give them a little bit of a field advantage however... Cats do have good eyes. Lindsey was a bit hyper, and can easily flaw their attempt at being subtle.

Still however, the Sky Slayer decided to take a chance, putting the pouch up to eye level. Normally, he'd be able to flick the key out with a single pull, but due to the limited amount of light, he had to humbly search for it. The green key would finally make it's appearance however, and he would finally get it within reach. Now for the chant. I open the gate of the Chronicle Neko... The young mage tried to keep his voice in a low tone, so that he would not be heard by those too far away. But those who could get up close probably had a chance to hear him, if he could not sense them at least. He'd swing the key upwards into the air, a "Swoosh" sound emitting from the simple arm motion. And finally, he'd just as swiftly slam the key downwards. Lindsey!

The gate had opened, the Celestial Spirit World had been accessed and the door revealing itself in front of him. With one simple blink, it had disappeared, and out came the playful spirit. HIIIIII! She'd exclaim, alerting everyone within the next few miles of their existence. Following that would be a few growls, which meant the attention of the enemies have been brought onto him. Well, that plan completely backfired, they now can't advance stealthily. Damn it Elyx! Think before you leap! Ignite would helpfully remark, a snarl on her face before she would stretch her arms to the sides, each forming a spinning sphere of fire above them. The Sky Slayer himself would emit the darkness from his body into the little light caused by Ignite's fire, preparing to go into his War mode provided that be necessary. Lindsey however was confused, but still happy. For safety measures, she would pull out a dagger from her pouch located high up her leg.

The three of them stood back to back to back, knowing that by the time they had all been set, they were surrounding, and that they would need a full view of the scene. Well, two of them figured that out due to their experience in combat. The Neko seemed to mimic any action of her summoner, but it was for the best, and that playful smile, who could scold such a face?

The pinkette kept moving, no how matter much her spirits had told her to back away, to retreat back to safety. They were her guardians, they usually knew what was best but this time was not a time to listen to them. So she didn't, Lamya pushed forwards into the ruins towards the area that she could feel the large aura of magic from. Could it possibly be the person that she was looking for? She would be able to end the mission easily and just head back home. She didn't need to see or even work with the legal mage. It would be a piece of cake.

With a victorious smirk the celestial magic continued forwards until she froze, the celestial magic remnants was back, yet stronger than ever and without another second to spare a cheery voice echoed through the caves...-

    Wait.

    What?

    Cheery voice?

Lamya groaned internally, it was the legal mage. That was no boss, the source of the large amount of magic power was the legal mage. Well she was just out of luck today. The pinkette now wanted to turn around, but her pride was stopping her as she thought of the shame that she would bring herself if she got home without completing the mission.

With a sigh the young woman pushed forwards and turned a corner only to run into something soft. Well maybe not soft but certainly fuzzy. Her eyes still adjusting to the dark Lamya looked up at the thing that she had run into. Fuchsia eyes quickly widened and a shriek ripped from her throat before the girl spun on her heel and took off in a sprint in the opposite direction. Sure she was a dark mage but she was still a girl and large.. large... moles were so disgusting!!

The celestial mage made a bee line away from the mole, randomly turning corners, hoping to lose it. Her eyes were wide and in front of her she quickly spotted people. One was held fire above her, there was another one, shorter with cat ears, and a third, a male, who seemed to be on the edge. Lamya quickly sprinted towards them and dove behind them, hiding behind the small cat like being who seemed oddly familiar. "Th-there's a giant mole!!!" Her voice was hoarse from all of her sprinting but as her words came through, not one, but two of the badger moles entered the cavern.

The first few moles gave them a clear warning from below, sticking back to back to back was not going to be a valid option. And so one would pop out from the ground in between the three of them, forcing them all to scatter quickly if they did not want to take damage. Lindsey would obtain something a little bit extra, as a sudden young lady would hide behind the playful neko. However, that was a trigger, since Lindsey was easy to scare away. Quickly flicking the dagger in her hand, she'd spin it one time in her grip before swinging it with a devastating amount of force towards the one behind her. However, Lindsey may have been fast, but Elyx could practically blur. Thus, he was able to catch her wrist quickly before the Neko could put the sharp metal tip into the skull of the one who was behind her. Easy Lindsey, she is not going to hurt you. Focus on the little toys over there. He'd explain before pointing at the two moles that have arrived. The tense Lindsey would have a curious little "o" formed with her lips, bright green eyes locking onto the target before her smile would reveal once again. And so she would move past the both of them and begin to slice happily at the stomach of one of the two unearthed moles. Elyx would look to the young lady who had arrived, she was a sudden newcomer, but her magic flow did not possess any threat. Any attempt to harm him would be futile, just due to the numbers and the overall power, and so he figured she probably was just an unfortunate little mage who got lost. Stand back for one moment, I don't want to hurt you. He'd explain before turning back over to the She-Phoenix and the Celestial Neko.

All right, you both did well, now stand back guys. The Sky Slayer would tell them. His palms were hanging loosely by his sides, but a small formation of wind would reveal itself inside each one. They soon took form, a small delicate sphere. But as time passed, they gained a color, green, mixed with a few tainted bits of black due to the darkness. Finally, they spun at full force, all of the wind around them spinning. By this time, the moles would focus on him once they figured out where he came from. They would quickly dig into the ground, which was unfortunate since he wanted to harm only them. Now he ran a risk of hurting everyone but himself. Everyone, get away from here! He'd announce before jumping upwards. Lindsey obeyed quickly, charging towards Ignite and gripping her wrist. With her available hand, Lindsey would charge for the new mage that had just arrive, attempting to grab her wrist as well before bailing them out a good 100 meters away. Yes, Lindsey was that fast.

Elyx slammed his palms with devastating amounts of strength behind his muscles, the spheres shattering through the rocks easily. The explosion into the ground sucked in not only the two moles, but all of the surroundings within the area. The moles would not live by the end of this, surely. Provided Lindsey was successful, they would be out of range from the explosion. Elyx in the end would be in the giant crater that he had made, standing his his hands in his pockets while there was a mole on each side of him, both of them lying down unconscious. He'd hop back up onto the edge of the crater, looking around. He could feel magic presences around, so hopefully they all had escaped. Guys, where are you?

The small flash of silver white would quickly gather all of the attention from the people whom she had hid behind, a knife. With eyes wide the celestial mage stumbled back in shock. But the knife never made contact with the pinkette as the male whom she had seen earlier had caught the wrist of the girl whom had been swinging the knife. Lame listened to the words of the man knowing that they were well true that she was of no harm to them, after all she was supposed to be seeing her identity a secret, she couldn't have legal mages knowing who she was. Just as the brunet male would look back at her the pinkette would be looking up at him with wide eyes, fear residing within. The thought that they had almost killed her, the thought that they would have had he thought of killing her would always reside in her mind. His words slipped from his lips and to her ears and the mage's eyes widened before she placed her hands on the ground and scrambled her way up.

She had turned quickly on her heel and had taken off in the direction that would lead her away from the male, taking several steps before her arm had gotten caught and she was dragged through the air. Lame couldn't believe that she had been caught up in this mess. Her eyes clenched shut as she was dragged, not even attempting to make herself useful as she was dragged. Lame could feel large amounts of magic in the air surround the group and the pinkette could only imagine that the person that was creating this much magic would have been the male whom had told her to run away, knowing full well the destruction that he would cause and how much damage he could do with a single spell and how the celestial mage was glad that she was no longer near him as she felt the ground rumble below her. She could feel her keys agreeing with her, tingling against the folds of her skirt as they moved, but that wasn't the only thing that she could feel within her skirt. A soft squirming within the other pocket that she had hidden in her skirt was a small animal.

But that didn't seem to matter as the trio had finally stopped and the pinkette fell to the ground, grasping it like her life depended on it, legal mages were so confusing, one moment they were trying to kill you the next they were saving you by dragging you through the air away from a magic explosions that they had warned you about. Lame looked up at the other mages, well the were not so much mages they had a different magic aura to them than the male did, were all legal mages this crazy? Her mouth pulled into a frown and the pinkette moved to get up and dust her hands off on her green skirt before reaching her hand into her second pocket and feeling around to see if the small animal was still there. It was. A small sigh escaped the lips of the maiden before she looked back up at the people and glared at them coldly before turning and walking down a random hall way. She didn't care if they were on the same job as she was, they had not only tried to kill her, they were reckless, how could mages be like that? Just because they were legal they felt like they could do what they wanted. A itch appeared on her covered arm, it was Yari. She could feel the hate emanating from him, but the female could only shake her head.

Without another word, and ignoring the words that would possibly follow her the celestial mage took her own turn and headed away from the group and back into the dangerous halls of the labyrinth.
