Alone, Siennah struggles with her age. She has only recently begun working with magic, and appears to be a late bloomer when it comes to the arcane. So she feels embarrassment from her lack of magic power. At the same time, at the ripe old age of 26, Siennah is considered quite the old spinster in some parts of the world. Thus, she has a double-edged status as both too old and at the same time being quite the greenhorn.
The dark haired woman is patient, calm, cautious, and collected compared to some hothead magic-users who are younger than her. This only seems to reinforce her status as an ‘old lady’ in some circles. She rarely jumps to action without considering her options, and irritates many people who are less interested in talk and more interested in action.
Siennah is a pretty good cook, and capable at keeping records, books, and composing letters. As a result, it can seem very attractive to dump such work on her. Although, Siennah is a quick worker, a quick learner, and organized. She would much rather do things herself if no one else qualified is around, especially when it comes to record-keeping, filling, or similar tasks.
Both of Siennah’s parents, and most of her extended family, were doctors. Siennah was supposed to be a doctor, too. She knew that from day one, and that was what was expected. Over the course of her childhood, Siennah was an excellent student and appeared to be following in the family business. Siennah, however, was bitter. While she enjoyed learning, she disliked the practice itself, often feeling antsy. The feeling lingered and grew. Following several years of arguments with her family, Siennah still entered the school her parents wanted her to. But, she couldn’t make it past her second year, and eventually dropped out of this school for physicians.
At the same time, Siennah discovered that she had a small talent for magic. It wasn’t much. And it certainly wasn’t what she expected. After all, who first develops magic after twenty?
But, it was something.
In the end, Siennah couldn’t find the words in her mouth and couldn’t get her own hesitant hand to spill out a letter. There was guilt, yes, that she would never measure up to what she was supposed to be. There was also a bitterness. Why hadn’t her magic shown itself earlier? Why did it have to be then?
Was it too late for a different path?
And what was it that Siennah wanted? Lacking a dream or ambition, Siennah left her family home in search of those things.
Siennah has very little experience in a fight, but is far more comfortable offering support to others than entering the fray herself. Others may consider her a bit of a wet blanket when it comes to friendly sparring, especially since Siennah often broke up fights between her younger cousins. In the end, she’s somewhat of a meddling ‘aunty’ that might seem like she hates fun. She listens to directions, and follows them well. Her experience with schooling and helping out her parents gave her good skills with organizing events and other people. She would prefer to follow orders instead of giving them. As a leader, she comes across as very conservative and almost too careful with her decisions. That could just be her nature.
Or maybe she just needs someone with a fire under their ass to break her out of the mold of a bookish, proper ‘lady.’
She is very likely to over-pack for missions, and is the type who would give her friends all ugly, matching sweaters as a gift. She just wants to make sure everyone is warm. Siennah is also the type who always packs pain killers, scissors, needles and thread, and all other types of items that probably will not come in handy.

She wears black flats, and a voluminous white and red dress with voluminous pale, peony-pink sleeves. Over that, she wears a bright red, open, sleeveless robe with black and gold detailing. The robe ties in front with white laces. Most of her long, dark hair is kept in a bun--which is hidden by a matching red covering detailed in gold.

- Shopping - The process of comparing items might seem stressful to some, but Siennah finds it soothing and often just goes window shopping for entertainment. It doesn't hurt that she's a bit of a clothes horse as well.
- Reliable Men - Siennah tries to pretend that she doesn't believe in the idea that she's past her prime. But, she isn't always successful. Maybe if she's lucky, she'll be able to settle down one day. That said, she definitely has a type, and it's obvious.
- Hot Bathes - She likes 'em hot HOT HOT!! Usually it's just Siennah and the oldest of the old biddies soaking in water that most others would find scalding hot and unbearable. She loves to use fancy bath products as well. Feminine to a T.
- Spreadsheets - They keep everything so organized! Can you hear the flap of paper as one of Siennah's charts unfolds, all the way onto the floor?
Dislikes:
- Being treated like a child - Siennah is in her mid twenties, but her short stature causes her to be occasionally mistaken for a much younger lady. Even though she's a newbie magic-user, she's still an adult! She pays her taxes and everything.
- Shoddy Items - Ah! It's just the worst when you buy something and it turns out to be a piece of crap! Siennah is suspicious of any road-side merchant or anyone who seems a little shifty. Maybe it's caused by a past trauma....
- Sloppy Records - Please keep all accounting records and receipts tidy, please! Siennah has seen a fair share of corruption amongst business owners, and hates it when others try to hide things. As a result, badly kept records irritate her, even if there is no malicious intent behind the mess.
Motivations:
- A Reason - Siennah is looking for something that really catches her attention, or moves her. It's a bit embarrassing that she doesn't have an idea of what she'd like out of life, especially at this age...
- Something New - After spending over two decades dedicated to something her parents wanted, Siennah is interested in seeing new places and new things! Anything out of the ordinary is bound to catch her interest.
- Better - She may be a greenhorn now, but Siennah has the patience and self-control of a life-long scholar and is ready to improve on her magic.
Fears:
- All Alone - Half of why Siennah is a mother hen type is because she has a pretty deep-seated fear of abandonment. She doesn't want to end up by herself in the end.
- Christmas Cake - She doesn't own up to it most of the time, but Siennah does worry about her age in regards to her prospects for dating. Hopefully it isn't true that no one wants a woman after the 25th (year).
- Being Unprepared - An idiot who always over-packs and over-thinks when she gets nervous. Siennah is commonly worried that she didn't read enough, or research enough, or pack enough and it's going to cause a huge problem for others.
