    Magic

    Primary Magic: Thunder Demon Slayer: Dernier mot.

    Secondary Magic: None.

    Caster or Holder: Caster.

    Description: Thunder Demon Slayer magic is the natural foe of all demons that wield the thunder element to their name. A white lightning that is fused with the holy attribute and a natural at hunting demons this magic can zip and zap through most demons with ease. The electric plasma that runs through Lydia is not one to triffle with as she is an adept ranged combatant. Due to this Lydia tends to sit back and wait for good shots before doing anything other than watching and gaining info. Her eye for detail helps her find the best possible shot often being able to find a good finisher when no one else could. Due to this Lydia is not the best at close range combat but does have tools to help with it.

    Strengths:


    • The range on her spells allows her to remain safe while planning each spell for best possible damage.

    • If she is ever in a pinch the magic allows her to get around quickly.

    • Rain can cause her to become a very lethal target.


    Weaknesses:


    • At close range she is very weak.

    • Has difficulty fighting in closed conditions.

    • Without clear shots she can end up in trouble.

    • Needs to keep moving in case someone finds her little nest.

    Unique Abilities:

    • Static Charge: All of Lydias spells that are ranged in nature have a special mechanic that causes them to deal more damage the further away the target is from herself. This is also reversed in how close they are to her and the spells can deal up to 50% more damage than they would normally deal. So long as the enemies are at least 15m away from her she deals 25% more damage but if they are more than 25m away she deals 50% bonus damage to them. If the enemy she is attacking is within 5m of her however she will only be capable of dealing 25% the normal damage she could to them. (Ex, 20 damage = 5 damage if enemy is within 5m.)

    • Lightning Step: Due to the lightning charging through her at all times Lydia has a natural spring to her step giving her a 35% speed boost.

    • Storm Cloud: Lydia is able to root herself into place making it so she may only crouch down, lay down or stand up in her spot. While rooted she gains a bonus to range of her spells per rank and half that of speed to her spells with the bonus range scaling up per rank of the spell. This bonus range and speed only affects ranged spells and the effects are reduced by 25% for non single target spells (Note does not increase the AoE of spells but only the range they could be cast from or the length of some ranged spells).

      D-Rank: 25m (13m/s)
      C-Rank: 40m (20m/s)
      B-Rank: 60m (30m/s)
      A-Rank: 85m (43m/s)
      S-Rank: 110m (55m/s)

    • Lightning Charge: Due to her time using the magic and gaining more power with it Lydia has been able to further enhance her speed by a further 25% and as an added bonus a 25% boost to her natural reaction speed.

    • Static Charge: All of Lydias spells that are ranged in nature and are single target only have a special mechanic that causes them to deal more damage the further away the target is from herself. This is also reversed in how close they are to her and the spells can deal up to 2x the damage they would normally deal. [I would suggest you to edit the damage out-put a bit  along with the distance that you are using for this ability. Distance for spells per rank go as the following normally, 15 meters for D-rank, 30m for C-rank, 50 for B-rank, 75 A-rank, and 100 for S-rank. Also the maximum that any spell can deal in damage is 1.5 its rank so take that in consideration while working out the damage numbers. I would sugest 15 percent, 20 percent, 25 percent, and 30 percent. But I will allow it to cap out at 50 percent.]

      0m-5m: 1 Damage for all spells.
      6m-14m: 25% of normal damage.
      160m-199m: 150% of normal damage.
      200m+: 200% of normal damage.

    • Lightning Step: Lydia is able to blink about 5m in any direction as if she had just been sent forward in an arc of lightning up to three times per post and she has a natural 50% boost to her speed. [This ability sounds more like a spell rather than a passive. I can allow the 50 percent boost to her speed but that is as far as I can go with it. Also don't forget your slayer perks, you get a bit of a speed boost from them already.]

    • Storm Cloud: Lydia is able to root herself into place making it so she may only crouch down, lay down or stand up in her spot. While rooted she gains a bonus 200m of range per rank and half that of speed to her spells with the bonus range scaling up per rank of the spell. This bonus range and speed only affects ranged spells and the effects are reduced by 25% for non single target spells (Note does not increase the AoE of spells but only the range they could be cast from or the length of some ranged spells). [ Distance for spells per rank go as the following normally, 15 meters for D-rank, 30m for C-rank, 50 for B-rank, 75 A-rank, and 100 for S-rank.  However since you will be standing still for the spells, I can allow your range to be increased by 45 percent per rank. Your spell speed can be half of that or it can go up by 25 percent.]
      D-Rank: 200m (100m/s)
      C-Rank: 400m (200m/s)
      B-Rank: 600m (300m/s)
      A-Rank+: No benefits.
