Caster or Holder: Caster and Holder
Description: Lightsworn magic is an ice type magic which is paired very well with the use of a sword as well as encouraged. Lightsworn magic is based around Sephiron the Ice Dragon, one of the four righteous dragons. With this magic you are able to improve your physical traits and sword skilled with ice magic as well as gain aspects of Sephiron to aid you in combat and eventually unlock the ultimate form of the Lightsworn's finest blade, Excalibur.
Strengths:
-Improves the user's physical traits.
-Allows the user to gain aspects of the Ice Dragon Sephiron.
-Improves swordsmanship beyond normal human limits.
-Gives a sword wielding Lightsworn user some ranged purpose.
Weaknesses:
-Very few defensive spells
-Taxing on the body to use
-Longer ranged attacks have higher cooldowns
-Has no effect against Ice magic.
-Weak against fire magic.
Abilities/Powers:
Name: Consecrate
Rank: D
Type: Ice
Description:Harada will hold a palm against the blade of his sword and a magical seal will form on his palm to touch the blade. Once the blade has been consecrated it's properties are boosted increasing it cutting power, durability and giving it the ability to rival other spells of the same rank or lower in order to effectively block with the sword. The blade its self will be coated in a thick layer of jagged ice.
Strengths: The user's blade is enhanced beyond the point of being a normal sword.
Weaknesses:
-The consecration of the sword can only last for a total of 4 posts before it runs out and has to cooldown for 4 posts.
-Less effective against fire.
Name: Heavenly Mending

Type: Ice
Description: This spell is a common spell among all Lightsworn users because it is no rare occasion that something would happen to the sword. Because the swords used by Lightsworn magician's contain a Ice deity which is the actual being of the sword using this spell can mend, fix,re-create and recall the sword back to its original state and/or owner. The user would place both hands extended in front of them palms facing up as if they were presenting a sword to someone and a magic seal will form over both palms and the sword will appear or mend in the area.
Strengths: This allows the user to be able to call their main weapon back to combat no matter what happens to it.
Weaknesses:Once the sword is broken the Lightsworn user must wait 2 posts before Heavenly mending can be cast. Once cast it cannot be re-cast for another 8 posts.
Name:Ice Pillar

Type: Ice
Description: Harada punctures the ground with his sword and chooses up to four target locations. A white circle appears at the target location and quickly flash freezes everything within the circle's influence, including anything above it in the air; capable of reaching as high as 50 feet. Shortly after being frozen, the ice will shatter and the victim will be released. The pillar shatters 3 posts after it is formed, though the victim is capable of breaking out and a higher temperature of the object will result in a faster break out.
Strengths:
-Can create four ice pillars before going into cooldown.
-Deals D rank damage to the target and drains their energy.
Weaknesses:
-Is fairly easy to see before it happens.
-Once every pillar is used there is a 4 post cooldown before it can be used again.
Name: Frostbite

Type: Ice
Description: Upon activation, Harada gains an effect that slowly freezes everything his sword comes into contact with. The severity of frostbite is dependent on how many times the object comes into contact with Harada's sword. The maximum amount of stacks an object can have is 10; at which point he is capable of shattering a human limb. Each stack of frostbite deals 10% of its maximum power, reaching full power at 10 stacks.
Strengths:
-Is capable of shattering most things, including metal.
-Weakens and slows enemies that have frostbite. Each stack slows by 5%, reaching 50% slow at 10 stacks.
Weaknesses:
-Frostbite lasts for 5 posts, with a 7 post cooldown. Every other cooldown post, victims lose a single stack of frostbite.
