“Do you know what a basilisk is, Sol?...” Famine murmured stepping forward through another mound of snow. She did not however give him an opportunity to answer himself. Just as she hadn’t given him any sort of choice when she asked him to accompany him on this ‘walk’ “A beast legend to be able to kill with a single look.” Famine turned her head over her shoulder and exchanged an icy gaze with him that moment as she reached the tip of the snow covered cliff face. The wind was brittle, every flake of snow that rushed their direction struck down at their flesh like cold bullets. There was no doubt that another blizzard was on it’s way.
“You're probably wondering why I’ve brought you all the way out here, Sol. The same creature I’ve described is living in these mountains. I can imagine it is somewhere in the highest mountain in the darkest cave getting ready to seek out it’s next meal. You’d be willing to find it for me, right? ” Of course he would, he did anything for her. He’d die for her if she asked. The intensity of the breeze and the force in which snow pelted down grew, as though the next words that slipped from her tongue aggravated a greater force. “I want you to slay it, bleed it, and bring me both its blood and its eyes.” She requested. It was a tall favor and one asked so suddenly, It wouldn’t surprise her if Sol was suspicious. Afterall, Famine gave absolutely no indication what her purpose was in collecting such trophies… Though, she hopped that she would be able to reveal it to the guild in time…
Famine shuffled closer to the point of the cliff, pebbles actually breaking off where she laid her heel. “Remember, no matter what you mustn't look this creature in it’s eyes. Not even a single glance. You have three days, I hope you have dressed warm.” She smirked the words devilishly, as she’d always done.
Unable to resist an exit in style, The shadow wizard leapt forward right off the face of that jagged, snow powdered drop. It was mid free fall that her form blackened, deteriorating to shadowy remnants which were inevitably dismissed by the icy gusts of the mountain. She disbursed like black snow and Sol was all on his own.

- Find the Ice basilisk and defeat it within (less is OK!) 20 Posts. That is an IC time span of three days.
- Minimum word count of 200, exceeding WC is encouraged!
- Sol must gather and both obtain both it’s blood and eyes. The Basilisks eyes may not be damaged in the slightest during combat.
- Famine will be waiting outside the guilds fortress. She will re-appear at the end of the thread once Sol returns to her with the trophies intact.
