Fenris: The Tiny Columbus Whose Spice Indies are Literally Everything
In the typical sunlight of your ordinary day, Noez Ridland is only Fenris, a little boy whose curiosity is contagious as it is amusing, a little boy with green eyes that're emeralds if he sees something he wants, and it almost seems that he wishes to experience everything of everyone and everywhere with that enthusiasm of his. He sports a jolly attitude in all forms of weather and there never seems to be a thing that could dampen his mood unless someone really tried. Though this is typically part of an elaborate scheme under a childish smile, it's more than enough to convince passerby's that he's no killer behind those rosy cheeks, but really just your normal, maturing child at twelve who sees the world in a different way. A common mundane ideal, when twisted properly into his brain, will shift drastically into something deeper, as if he knew just where to flip it and turn it to something entirely new. Nothing's ever boring in his life when he's always out to turn it over and discover the secrets of the common things that litter the world. For him, everything's an adventure if you observe it carefully, rounding up its composites before readily giving it a new side entirely, because every gold coin has another face and Fenris knows this better than anyone else.
He brands himself an explorer and that's how he likes it, over-turning your ideals and making new settlements as if it were his own, coupled with your choice of sweet words and childish games, of course, so the change is easy going down.
Noez Ridland: Alexander the Conqueror in Short-shorts
They say that there was never a person born without any form of sin on their shoulders. Noez acknowledges this fact with his entire being, because he considers himself no more than a messed up pile of mistakes that was the outcome of his birth and everything else that lead his life up to this point.
In fact, Noez has long since passed the mentality of his appearance and almost seems ten times older once he unshackles himself from his Fenris persona, which he discards only before the most sinful of creatures.
His history is only just the grim undertones to this twisted mentality he keeps cooped up inside his brain. There's barely a dent in this kid's insanity as it's literally peppered in spite and a monstrous carnage that adorns his invisible horns with an appreciation for the most vile of morals, where all his battle instincts are sharp, where his love for karma is messed up. Noez Ridland is Fenris' true nature, the little child only a mask amongst the many lies he'd sharpened over these years into deadly personalities that'd bring a fool into a ruin even more severe than hell -a downfall to their own weaknesses, because there's nothing Noez adores more than picking at someone's fears and petty sins one by one until there's nothing left to feast on.
Though prior to the disaster his family met at the hands of the royals of Pergrande, he was already on the receiving end of all the atrocities that the Ridland put him through, as he stood at the center of all their sins that focused on him, the eldest heir at that time, as he sat and watched their sickly process to keep their status of power.
It was a foot soldier's mistake to bite on his lies that told the soldier was only a slave the family smuggled a few months prior. He thanks that foot soldier in his thoughts regularly for fostering the brilliant liar in him that he never knew was there until now, where he lies as much as he breathes.
This was where he learned the weight of sin deserves a better damnation over repentance, and that even hell wasn't enough for them. Torture isn't the right term for what the petty reap in their boring lives and he wishes to bring that kind of judgement to those who deserve it. Of course, you'd think this was a noble cause, but there was nothing noble in his upbringing and you can be sure that Noez is only stuck in his habits of violence that he's demented enough to call his killings works of justice as an excuse to do more.
Noez is quite patient in his own right, and he takes his time before he realizes his interest in someone.
In A Battle There is No In-Between:
When a fight is the midst, there will no longer be any sort of semblance of his Fenris persona, and Noez will be simply be a troublesome Ridland child with this ungodly lust for a battle coated in blood. He faces his threats with a keen eye, as he's always done with people who he wishes to observe. His battles will always end piles of flesh scattered at his feet, corpses with their limbs torn and heads rolling off their backbones. He leaves his kill soundlessly, making sure other people see the mess and to stir a fear in their hearts for Fenris to pick up later, when he goes on his daily shenanigans.
An Ally is a Prized Possession:
When he dons Fenris' eyes, it almost instantly draws in attention and has people throwing their trust on him carelessly, which is something good, but he noticed that whenever he shows his true colors, not many people would agree on his morals and some won't even appeal to his standards. Though he'd admit that if he ever found someone with same level of insanity, then he'd follow them in a heartbeat.
He sees himself better suited as one of the men of a great leader rather than being the leader himself because he thinks its too tedious for him to order people around, his magic is a hassle already. That, and he wishes to spite the old souls of his Ridland ancestors who once taught him how to make men grovel at their feet as a leader. Though this gave him an unfair amount of charisma for a little boy, he avoids every opportunity that he gets to play leader just to anger his dead retainers and relatives from their hellish graves, since it benefits him anyway.
But whether this comes from Noez or Fenris or whichever persona he has, his comrades will always remain a precious treasure that he'd hate to loose, so at the expense of his own life, he'd readily lay his life down for anyone who complies to his urges and treats him as a family despite his compulsive lies and his fake smiles.
Likes:
- The Entire Animalia Kingdom: He understands them, and he agrees to their system of predator and prey and regularly applies it to his life as much as possible.
- Strawberry Anythings and Apples: Noez is incredibly used to the color red and its no surprise that he'd gain an attachment to it. Not to mention strawberries and apples which are an especially rare case. They taste sweeter than that metallic substance and he'd just about devour anything with strawberries/apples or at least a hint of their distinct flavors in them. He secretly wishes humans where this sweet on the inside, as opposed to being guttural and gamey.
- Winter: The great chill that makes his spine shiver in excitement. Expect a random Fenris popping out of a mound of snow or strolling leisurely under the snowfall. His activity increases significantly in this season, and besides, if you think about, red looks better on snow, doesn't it?
- Libraries: Perhaps books are the only true thing that he relishes with a humane sense of enjoyment. And because of his circumstance, he has no preference, so people mostly stumble on him with a stack of children's book on one side, and the heavier encyclopedias on the other. During the summer season, he can finish an entire shelf in one day. This is probably induced from his lack of study back in the day, where his main focus then was political affairs, so he never had a private tutor to teach him anything.
- People who treat him to anything: The sound of people complying to his whimsies assures him a pleasant, almost human, satisfaction, which is why the persona Fenris survived.
Dislikes:
- People who don't know how to live a little: There are a lot of people who're not so willing to run their focus on the childish things, and when Fenris is seeking a playmate, he'd much rather look for people who wouldn't ruin his mood by shooing him off.
- Summer: It's too hot! What kind of human could endure that heat? The color red only makes everything hotter in summer so it makes things worse. His activity decreases during this season and he instead locks himself up in the library until the heat waves pass. You won't see the little guy unless you drag him out of the library, with a force.
- Animal Abuse: "Why'd you do it? WHY'D YOU KILL THE LITTLE GUY?!" -Ever wondered what would Fenris look like all flushed from anger, yet not really getting Noez's attention? Kill yourself a squirrel and place it at his feet. He'll freak out with a tantrum.
- Curiosity Killers: When he asks a questions, he expects an answer, sarcasm is uncalled for and it only sours his mood unless he's in the mood for a light jest. But when Fenris asks, he wants a straight answer.
- People Who Don't Like His Dolls: Fenris stitches ragdolls as a hobby and as a stress reliever. Sometimes they're really well-made, but sometimes they can be the product of a demon trying to knit a sweater. At this moment, it's really important to note the state of his dolls, the more morbid they become, the more calming down he needs, otherwise he'd go on an untimely rampage. If you tell him they're ugly, he'll lock himself up to dwindle away in his depression.
- Backstabbers: He expects loyalty from the people he shows loyalty. Like begets like, and if he's betrayed, he'll never forgive you.
Motivations:
- His Dolls: His room might be littered in creepy dolls, but with them, he feels at ease, as if he can clearly look for his purpose in their presence.
- Dreams of Carnage: Noez has neither dreams nor nightmares because to him, they're the same thing. When he sleeps, all he sees is a maddening display of battle and wars. If they were ever made to scare him, it's doing nothing of the sorts, rather, they actually inspire him now.
- The Allies He'll Come to Treasure: He likes finding people he can trust, because even someone so distant from his human urges can get a little lonely sometimes, and he wishes for nothing more other than his allies winning the war. Even if he dies as the result.
Fears:
- The Feeling of Fear: Since his play things feed on fear, even his, he normally has no fear left in the midst of battle. When he does feel fear, he knows that the threat something imposes is so great that his play things can't even consume all of it.
- Immortality: Sometimes he wonders why he isn't growing or why he doesn't seem to have right body. The thought of being unable to pass makes him uneasy. This honestly scares him until his underlings eat it away.
- Losing His Allies: Give a man something precious and he'll take care of it with all his life. Take that away and he'll weep. This applies to Fenris, but to Noez as well, being the only time he'd want to cry willingly.

Appearance:
He doesn't have a closet full of clothes anymore, but whether Fenris or Noez, he will always adore his black tiny general uniform clipped with gold linings and inspired by the cultures of Midi, complete with a hat and an arm pad. The oodachi on his back, which is obviously longer than him, is his primary source of power and he keeps it secure with a sturdy band. He likes flashing his special cape every now and then. Though he sometimes switches into a blue and white tracksuit if needed. The little boy isn't bound to anything specific, he just enjoys dressing up as such.
