iLac [Job]

It was a while since Leila entered a place that would be this modern and populated. The neutral field was quite the sight to behold indeed, even her magical abilities were restricted the moment she set a foot in this place. Something that was surely not possible several years back. Or maybe it was, she was travelling for a long time and a lot of news missed her. It also could have been a natural phenomenon and not actually something caused by men. But technology was her reason for being here right now. From the little pouch that she was always carrying everywhere, she pulled out a small piece of paper. It was a flyer advertising a new product from a local factory, lacrima that apparently allowed communication over long distances. And not only that, it was promising that this 'iLac', as they called it, would allow her to easily check her magical energy, status of her health, what day it is and many other things. It sounded almost too good to be true, especially since they were handing these out for free. It was more suspicious than anything, especially to her, someone who rarely visited populated places. But as they say, if something's free, just take it. She even made sure to read the flyer several times over, confirming that these would be indeed free. Though she had to ask herself if she really needed one. If all that they said about iLac was really true, then surely everyone would want one. And getting through a crowd of people just to receive one, would that really be worth it? All kinds of questions like that were going through Leila's head. But ultimately, she decided that she should get one. After all, she wanted to get stronger. And for that, she would surely need help of someone else. This communication lacrima seemed like a perfect solution for that. Having the option to call someone at any time, anyplace. It just sounded too good. And with that in mind, she started marching forward, filled with anticipation. Though it took her a while before she managed to orientate herself in this place. She wasn't used to big buildings and factories. What she knew best were big and long roads in the nature with occasional huts and fields. But once she saw the signs pointing towards the factory, it wasn't too hard to find it. The closer she got to it, the more people were around. The crowd quickly grew large, a clear sign that her target was close. Thankfully it wasn't so bad that she couldn't wait it out.
Shouts promoting the iLac grew in strength as she got closer to the employees that were in charge of handing them out. And just like the flyer promised, they didn't want anything in exchange. Leila started to move forward quickly, pushing people aside. Thankfully, her small figure managed to stay hidden between the larger bodies of other mages and civilians. And in no time at all, she popped out, right in front of an elegantly dressed lady that held her arms towards her. And in her palms was her target, the iLac lacrima. Leila quickly grabbed it and nodded to show her gratitude. And before she was able to do any other gestures, her small frame was forced to the side, as other clients moved forward. Brushing her clothes a little, Leila sighed but immediately followed it with a smile. Her job here was done and it was an absolute success! Or at least it was one in her head. While inspecting the device and it's functions, the girl happily left the factory and continued towards her next goal.
