Personality: Judal is quite complex. He has several layers to him. When you think you've got him figured out he brings another aspect to him to the table. He's always changing, growing, and adapting. Slowly changing himself to fit the current situation. Some would call him a pathological liar, but he sees himself as one of the most truthful people out there. There are several things that make up his personality. The first layer- being his outside layer is one that holds a sense of calmness. Though slightly distant, he is friendly and polite. He holds a cheery air to him and rarely ever seems like he's down. He's open yet keeps his heart closed off to the rest of the world. Only showing what he deems necessary to show. Underneath his false happiness is his second persona, closer to his true self but still fake enough to hid his true nature. At this layer his more darker nature shows.

It shows his snide and snarky side. The side that enjoys to mercilessly tease others, to make people feel uncomfortable when he smiles cheerfully. The more sadistic aspect of his personality begins to show as he shows a willingness to cause mischief to those around him. Still it's not the REAL him. The true him, at his very core is far more darker. At his core he is a true deceiver. With his genius shows his madness as he begins to exhibit his more cruel desires. Stripped of all his layers and protections Judal is a cruel, selfish, and self-loathing individual. He despises himself and his current life. Hating himself for not doing anything on the night of his parents murder. He holds a unsatisfied thirst for revenge on the people who ruined his life.

He shows behavior of a person with a borderline sociopath attitude. One who isolates himself, one who can't function within society well if at all. A young man driven by his hatred and need for destruction. To ruin the lives of those who ruined his. At his core he is a monster. One who hates himself and everything else- yet is desperately crying for help, for someone to save him from his darkness. But in the end all of these layers make him into what he is today. Even if his whole existence happens to be a lie. Truthfully all of who he is, is a lie. A lie fabricated by a powerful mage who implanted false memories into Judal when he was a child. His parents who died were not his real parents, the ones he wanted revenge against did not exist. The mage simply saw this as a test to see how far one would go for revenge... Judal without this false personality is very different from his current one.

He is a near emotionless being, one who's only mission in life is to serve others. He has no other purpose other than fight- he is a drone- a brainwashed human used to end lives. Though even though this is true, parts of his fake and real personality has began to blend. Slowly creating a new Judal- one who is a bit of everything yet completely different. This version of him has yet to manifest but with time, he will find the real him. The true Judal- not not the man, not the monster, and not the weapon. But a true human- one worthy of love and acceptance.

In his life as a Rune Knight Judal is completely different person. The first thing that is noticeable is how dedicated he is. He is dedicated to his mission willing to do anything to accomplish what he was given. Yet, even with his serious demeanor he keeps a light and cheerful personality unless the situation calls for action. When in the presence of a superior Judal is polite and respectful. When a leader is in command he obeys everything he is told. If the leader tells him to slaughter a village then he will and do it without a hint of remorse. He fashions himself into an emotionless tool to be wielded by his superior, nothing more.

As a leader himself he is a bit different then when under command of someone. He's kind yet firm. He doesn't overstep his boundaries or force people to do inane things such as kill puppies or something as heartless as that. He never abuses his power given to him and instead tries to be the best leader he can possibly be. When it comes to fighting as a leader, ally, or comrade he does his best to ensure that he saves as many lives as possible. In combat he does well alone, but has a hard time functioning in groups especially large ones. He prefers working alone or with one or two other people. Despite this he doesn't fuss or complain about what situation he was given and instead deals with his weaknesses the best he can. However, despite it all- deep down Judal is still a monster and as the battle progresses so does his desire to cause more havoc, pain, and destruction. Thus he tries his best to end fights as quickly as possible least he succumb to his battlelust.



Likes:

• Sweets- He loves sweet things, mostly chocolates and can be seen eating them often on his time off from duty.
  
  
• Wine- Despite being underage, since he had his first sip he's been in love with the taste of it. The older the better in his opinion.
  
  
• Men & Women- He enjoys the company of both men and women though won't just sleep with anyone, he prefers handsome men and beautiful women, and wishes to get to know them before bedding them.
  
  
• Swordplay- Raised by his 'grandfather' he learned to wield a sword at a young age. Like his grandpa he holds a passion for swordplay and can be often seen practicing sword swings when off duty.
  
  
• Children- Judal feels at peace when around children for reasons he can't understand. Seeing children makes him happy watching their carefree faces and childish laughter. It calms him even on stressful days.
  
  
• Felines- He enjoys cats, their graceful and nimble actions have gained his respect and admiration. He dream is to own at least one- but with his work he finds it near impossible to do so.
  

Dislikes:

• Murderers- They are what took his 'parents' away. He'll do anything in his power to stop such a thing again, by stopping it at it's source. Taking out the killers themselves...
  
  
• Dark Guilds- They remind him of how close he is from following a dark path and go against everything the Rune Knights stand for. He hates them, because he knows one day he could be among them...
  
  
• Himself- He has a severe case of self-loathing. Despising himself for his failures and weaknesses. To the point, at some days he can't look at himself in a mirror...
  
  
• Death- Even as a Rune Knight who will see death more than most would. He hates it. The sight, the smell, it makes him sick and reminds him of his 'past'.
  
  
• Rain- Much like cats, he hates rain. Especially on humid days, it frizzes his hair and makes him feel sticky and uncomfortable. It's just- ugh!
  
  
• Dogs- They are annoying mongrels who chase his beloved feline friends! Plus they smell and are annoyingly loud.
  

Motivations:

• The Murderers- His most relentless goal in life, is to find his parents murderers no matter what the cost.
  
  
• Success- As a Rune Knight Judal only wishes to become stronger and higher of rank so one day when he's at the top, he can do whatever he wishes to find his parents killers...
  
  
• Reaching Higher- Judal's third dream is to become a S-rank mage. The more powerful he is, the better chance he has killing his parents killers.

Fears:

Dying- Judal has a deep fear of dying, alone and without accomplishing anything.

Losing those close- One of Judal's biggest fears is losing someone he cares for just like his 'parents'.

Being alone forever- Lastly, Judal fears he will be alone forever, and that he'll never truly have someone to call a 'friend'.

General Appearance

Height: 5'5 Inches
Weight: 130 Pounds

Hair: Judal's hair is his pride and joy. Well taken care of the chestnut brown locks hang loosely down past his backside just above his rear. His brown hair is completely straight and left free from any constraints. One of the most noticeable features is his bangs which are two separated thick pieces of hair that are brushed to either side of his head showing the jagged hairline.

Appearance: Judal's body is one achieved after years of physical activity. Though he was never a martial artist or a body builder his daily activities such as swimming, daily jogs, and swordplay had built him into a lean, speedy figure. His body had endured some of the harshest training from his grandfather a former fire mage and swordsman. He has had learned that speed pretty much means everything if he wanted to survive his grandpa's flaming fists of doom. His skin due to being in the sun constantly his turned a light tan coloration, scars linger on his chest, stomach, arms, and back but nothing too extreme. He also has some scars on his hands due to his sword training. He covers this all up with a pair of black bandages that go from his fingertips to his elbows. On his upper body he is usually shirtless but can be seen with a light brown cloak/poncho when traveling. On his legs are black baggy pants, and on his feet black sandals that leave only his toes visible. He doesn't like to wear heavy clothing and thus wears light and simple outfits. When on duty however he dons the signature Rune Knight uniform.
