It was as if Mina was being drawn to somewhere or something. Her powers weren’t working properly and for some reason even though it was a moonless night she didn’t go into her shock state. To top it all off her spirit had been dragged out as if someone had reached into the doll and physically pulled her out against her will. Scared, worried, anger, all sorts of emotions were just building up in her mind but she had no idea how to react. No idea how to respond to the actions going on. To be honest it frightened Mina more then she liked.

Then out of nowhere a mysterious sound rang through the forest reaching Mina’s ear…no…it was as if the sound was talking to her very soul. She sat there listening, waiting, hoping that it would tell her what do to. At first she thought that a voice could be heard but the sound was too out of tune as if the echoing was distorting it. ‘Can anyone else hear this?’ The very thought crossed her mind but the only place close by was a local village and in her ghost state she figured it was best not to venture into the village. Mina didn’t even remember picking up the doll but before she could realize it the ghostly form began walking through the dark forest as if hypnotized by the mysterious sound.

    Spoiler:

A sigh of aggravation had left the red heads lips as she had raised a weapon up and rested the blade against her shoulder. A small bunny had sniffed around the room as she had gazed back and forth from it, and didn't seem to find anything out of the ordinary. "Damn it.. 'Nother room we can cross off the list, Bunbun. Less go try another floor now..." Shaking her head lightly, Sasha brushed some of her bangs from her face and motioned for her fluffy companion to head along behind her. "Bun!" It cried out, rushing on it's fours to catch up before bouncing up onto Sasha's right shoulder and hanging on with ease while it's body had slung over her shoulder with ease and a surprising amount of comfort.

After climbing up a flight of steps to reach the next floor, the creaking of the floorboards had caught her attention. Her body froze up for a moment to make sure that it wasn't just her that had made the sounds as she continued walking. After all, such an old building would succumb to a bit of worn out floorboards and paneling. "Shhh. Be real quiet now, alright?" She whispered, looking over at the small bunny on her shoulder. It gave her a nod back and with a smirk, she proceeded into the hall. Of course, having come on a rumored suspicion alone at that was negligent... Who cared!? It was some good fun and combat practice, so no harm done after all. As she turned the corner, she spotted an odd glowing figure not too far away. It seemed to be what looked to be a child that was either dead or asleep. With a loud shriek, she pieced together exactly what this was and with a spark in her brain, shocked her enough to drop her sword onto the ground, vanishing back into its pocket dimension. "W-What the hell are you a-and why are ya'll carryin' that kid?" She asked, pointing towards the small figure so that she could possibly know what she was referring to.

    Spooky House:

As Mina approached a clearing that exited from the forest she gazed upon the sight of an old abandoned mansion. Vegetation overgrown, doors boarded, windows broke, it seemed as if no one had been around for quite some time. It seemed like any old building but upon closer look Mina could see a dark aura encompassing the building…one that seemed far too familiar. As she was about to push open the door to the back of the house her mind went blank and began flashing images…no memories. After a few seconds they stopped and it appeared that she was standing in a long brightly light hallway. She peered around and noticed that the walls weren’t worn down but instead looked as if they were brand new. The red wallpaper with black emblems shown bright in the candlelight and the doorknobs of the each door twinkled with each flicker of the flames.

    “Come child…I need your assistance…”

The voice of what Mina figured to be an older gentleman echoed through the hallway. She wanted to respond but when she went to speak nothing came out. Her body moved further into the unknown as if she was being controlled. Fear and anxiety filled her spirit as she came upon the last door in the hallway. She opened the door and before she could react a large, black, disfigured shadow erupted from the empty space and encompassed her body. Mina screamed and struggled but it was to no avail. Suddenly she was thrown against the wall and her mind went blank as she blacked out from the impact of being thrown.

A sudden shriek awoke Mina from her trance as she found herself standing in one of the hallways of the creepy building still holding the lifeless doll in her arms. The place had reverted back to being broken down but yet the area was different then she saw in the vision. Mina looked around to see where the sound had come from and noticed someone standing down at the end of the conjoining hallway having looked to have just turned the corner. It wasn’t the fact that Mina noticed that it was another girl standing there staring and pointing at her but more of the horror that appeared to be forming across the lady’s face.

Mina turned to meet the newcomer but froze in spot as she noticed something behind the girl: The large mass she had seen in her vision. Fear crept across her face as she saw the mass getting bigger and bigger. It seemed as if large black hands were traveling across the top of the hallway stretching out towards her. Her power built as wind began to blow through the windows and empty rooms. “S-Stay a-a-away from m-m-me…” The hands only got closer and it caused Mina to react even worse. “I SAID STAY AWAY!” A gust of wind pounded through the hallway in the direction of the girl blowing old pictures off the walls and slamming close and opening up random doors along the way.

She didn’t even wait. Mina bolted back down the hallway and found the furthest room from the black mass and slammed the door behind her. She fell to the floor and dropped the doll next to her as she put both her hands to her head trying to block out the image of the black mass. She began mumbling to herself out of fear. “Someone…please…help me…” She began to cry…waiting for the unknown to happen.

Spooky Encounter of the Unknown Kind (Private/Mina/Sasha) Empty Re: Spooky Encounter of the Unknown Kind (Private/Mina/Sasha)

Post by Gisen Ceostra 12th January 2016, 9:31 pm

For a moment, it seemed like the random spectral figure hadn't come to notice Sasha standing where she had been for a moment, until she had come to make the scene that she had made. With the girl taking notice, she seemed to have looked more and more away from the place that Sasha had stood, or through her or something of that sort it seemed. More or less, it made the red head a little more confused then anything. Well at least until she began to have her own mini freak out, which both put her mind at ease but also had made her tilt her head as she had no idea what she was going on about. Hell, she looked around her and hadn't seen a single thing at all, and neither did the little rabbit like companion that had still rested itself in her shoulder.

The two looked at one another with the same look, as if she was being spoken to in another language and didn't understand a single lick of it, for example. As they turned to look back, the ghostly gal had taken off down the hall away from Sasha, screaming something about getting away. The farm girl jumped to her feet and headed quickly down the hall after the girl, wondering mostly if it was her or something else that had made her run, but just leaving her to be scared and alone wasn't in Sasha's nature, and she wouldn't sit around idly by to do so if there was any way she could help her.

Sasha walked down the hallway, her gaze not leaving the doorway that the girl had ran into. Hesitantly, she reached for the handle of the door and opened it up, bracing to be attacked by something. She motioned first to her companion to head off her shoulder and wait beside her to avoid it being caught in crossfire. "H-hello?" She spoke aloud, enough to at least hope to gain the girls attention. "I'm not here to hurt you. Can I come in? I just wanna talk, I promise." Finishing up, assuring herself to sound as sweet as she normally was for the most part, while still staying sincere and calm.

Spooky Encounter of the Unknown Kind (Private/Mina/Sasha) Empty Re: Spooky Encounter of the Unknown Kind (Private/Mina/Sasha)

Post by Mina 13th January 2016, 10:32 pm

Mina could hear the footsteps coming down the hallway from the other side of the door. She was scared, nervous, and didn’t know what to do. Was it the mass that she had seen coming to get her? Or was it something else that she still didn’t know about? All she really knew is that something connected to the house was preventing her from being able to go back to the comfort of her doll body. Without her body she had no way to channel her magic, no way to control it. Without her body all she was, all she felt like, was a wandering spirit in the void of the real world.

The moving of the door handled spooked Mina. She pounced upwards and glided across floor to the other side of the room leaving behind the doll and the spirit trail linking her to it. She took shelter behind a worn down bed that had been flipped on its side and peeked her head over the metal framing making sure to keep the door in her sights. She saw as the door opened and the woman she had spotted earlier poking in and speaking with a gentle greeting.

It was then that Mina noticed the doll lying on the floor next to the door. The trail she left behind was thin enough to hide her spirit energy but all she was hoping was the doll wouldn’t be found. It already took her days to repair the doll and with her body acting so weird she didn’t want to imagine exactly what would happen if it would happen to be destroyed now.

Mina’s mind was flourishing with scared thoughts but as she looked at the woman she noticed that something was missing: There was no mass shadow behind the mysterious person. In fact she couldn’t sense anything nearby. ‘What was it that I saw then?’ It was yet another mystery that Mina couldn’t put an answer to. She decided that it was best to at least accommodate the new person if she was going to find out what was going on. She slowly floated her body upwards to make it look like she was at least standing.. “Alright.” Her tone was shaky and had signs of fear in it. “Just as long as you’re not hiding that …that…thing. I guess we can…talk.”

Spooky Encounter of the Unknown Kind (Private/Mina/Sasha) Empty Re: Spooky Encounter of the Unknown Kind (Private/Mina/Sasha)

Post by Gisen Ceostra 28th January 2016, 12:40 am

As she has first began to wait for the girls response, or any at all given how odd a place this house was since the moment she had come sighing 20 yards of it, there was an eerie feeling about the spirit that ran away from her. By no means was Sasha afraid of ghosts, but in the case of seeing actually one for real for the first time, it came to a shock to her. Most people didn't even believe in such strange phenomenons like ghosts being real or even that people could see them, but there it was that all that science blabber and whatever over stuff people coined off to be nothing more than some illusion or sign of insanity had been proven wrong.

Despite all that, it wasn't her real intent towards the idea of wanting to catch up to this girl.. Ghost.. Whatever. The idea that something frightened her, be it Sasha or maybe just the size of her weapon over all, it was understandable. Maybe it was just she was so used to being alone that seeing someone around frightened her, or that she has some fear of sharp objects because it caused her death or something of the like. Everyone no matter what could use a friend and if there was anyone who would put themselves out there for someone, Sasha was your gal. The same goes for pounding someone's face in too really, but that's a different matter honestly.

As the red head peeked in on the girl, she had seemed far less timid than her prior assumptions had come to believe. If anything, she was albeit shaking with fear and with it had brought a thought of sympathy. If only she could hug her to make her feel more comfortable... And maybe a nice soft squeeze of her chest. Unfortunately, her hobby would be a little unfulfilled with her being only a ghost, but if she could possibly get her talking and break her from her shell, maybe she could convince her to... With the girls remark, Sasha raised a brow in wonder of what she meant. Was.. It maybe Bunbun? Or.. Her weapon? No no... That couldn't be it. She would have been a little more specific with it had that of been the case, but no matter, she took a cursory look around before walking into the room slowly and stopping a few steps through of the doorway into the room.

"Oh that won't be no problem, bucko." She replied with a cheesy smile and a small chuckle. She'd pause to walk forward and sit down by the girl on her rear with her legs folded Indian style. "Name's Sasha Martin, former farm girl, part time Mage at hand." Stopping, she would wait for a moment in case she had any questions or comments before picking back up. "And how 'bout 'chu, partner? I'm sure there's something even a ghosty like you wants to be called." With her follow up, she would quickly quiet up and wait now, ready for anything the girl may come to tell or not to tell.

Spooky Encounter of the Unknown Kind (Private/Mina/Sasha) Empty Re: Spooky Encounter of the Unknown Kind (Private/Mina/Sasha)

Post by Mina 9th February 2016, 2:06 am

Mina studied the girl, watching her every move, while managing to slowly make her way around the battered bed frame and towards the doll body. Each footstep echoed small waves of white energy as she walked across the wooden floor. She assumed that with the girl’s attitude that she wasn’t an initial threat but Mina was still pretty cautious and managed to maintain some sort of composure as she moved to pick up the doll. Once she had it clutched hard against her chest she turned around and walked back to the bed mulling over in her mind what she wanted to say to the girl.

“It’s nice to meet you Sasha Martin.” She sat down on the edge of the frame and twisted the doll around so it could face the girl. Mina caught the fact that Sasha seemed to have called her a ghost and it caused her to think. “My name’s Mina and that’s really all I can remember about that.” She took one of her first and bopped herself on the head while giving off a small smile. “Haven’t been able to really remember much of my past at all to be honest. Only reason why I know part of my name is because of a locket that I found when I woke up.” She fidgeted some more before continuing. “I guess you could call me a ghost…though through the years many people have called me a spirit, a ghost, a walking aberration, and many others types of names.”

Mina got up and wandered over to the nearest window staring out into the forest that surrounded the mansion. “There is something about this place though…it’s like flashbacks or something…but it feels familiar.” She turned around and hugged the doll even tighter. “It’s like I’m being drawn here by someone or something.” She just stood there thinking to herself waiting for anything to happen.

Spooky Encounter of the Unknown Kind (Private/Mina/Sasha) Empty Re: Spooky Encounter of the Unknown Kind (Private/Mina/Sasha)

Post by Gisen Ceostra 16th February 2016, 6:49 pm

As Sasha tried to get closer to th girl, it seemed as though she was trying to inch her way away from the red head, despite her not wanting hurt the ghostly being. Honestly, she was really curious and thought it was really cool to be able to see and even hear the spectral girl. It really was almost like she was either going crazy, this house was haunted, or she was just gifted or something of the like. The more the red head had tried to move in on the ghostly girl, the more she seemed to try and avoid the contact. It came to an oddity to her really. Why would she bother to try and run? It wasn't like Sasha was ever a threat unless she was angry, so being around her now was perfectly fine and without a need to fear her. Instead, this girl was frightened from the very second she had laid her eyes on the country lass, so it would be to assume if she was that afraid, she'd be more well hidden or something.

Watching the girl grip up the doll in her arms as she had finally gotten a reply from her, she seemed to be a little more open. The doll she held was rather adorable, and more so she seemed more comfortable with it in her possession, which was good to know for now. She smiled and giggled at her, trying to get in a little closer now with Mina getting more comfortable. "Look on the bright side, 'least ya got something to start on, right?" She asked, trying to make her feel friendlier if she could hope to. As the girl spoke, Sasha got onto her knees and crawled over until she sat beside the girl if she would let her. Her attention focused to the doll, touching it and petting the doll's hair until Mina had stood up. She was a very odd person, but pushing onto that would only make her wanna get further away from the bunny loving girl, and that's not what she wanted at all.

She bent her knees up and placed her arms on them lazily while she watched Mina walk to the window and stare outside it. She wanted give the girl breathing room, but still at times want to get closer to show she was caring of the girls situation. "Ya know.." She paused, pushing herself up to her feet and walking towards the girl but stopping close by her. "It don't matter what ya are to me, Mina. You seem like a nice girl, though you're lost and confused, I believe somewhere out there is all your answers." She'd hold out a hand right in front of Mina and her doll, leaving her to decide on what she would come to be asked. "And if you'd like, I would like to help y'all out. Any time you need someone, I'd be here to get you through it. I don't care if we just met or nothin', but everyone deserves a friend. And we can start with searchin' this run down ol' place." She would pause for a brief second before stretching out the hand a little further toward Mina. "What do ya say?"

Spooky Encounter of the Unknown Kind (Private/Mina/Sasha) Empty Re: Spooky Encounter of the Unknown Kind (Private/Mina/Sasha)

Post by Mina 28th February 2016, 9:50 pm

If Mina had the ability to cry she would. Instead she stood there and reached out softly accepting the offer that Sasha had extended while giving off a half-hearted smile. It filled her soul with joy to know that people could be accepting of her even in her current condition. She had been alone for such a long time that the thought of even having a friend seemed to be a far off dream but yet here she was the feeling of friendship once again reaching her. “Thank you…so very much.”

The spirit clutched the doll in her arms once more before slowly walking to the door. “I think searching this house…” Something cause Mina to pause. Out of the corner of her eyes she saw it again: The black shadow that had spooked her before. This time though it was different though. The shadow quickly engulfed her before she could react forcing her to scream in pain and agony before falling silent standing there in the door frame, her eyes filled with a blank stare and her body limp as the doll dropped from her arms and onto the floor. A blackish demonic aura surrounding her ghostly body as she slowly began moving down the hallway transfixed as if under a living spell.

It was as if time froze around her as blackness engulfed Mina once again and before she knew it she was back in the world of her vision. No longer was she holding onto her doll but instead wearing the same white dress she had always seen in her dream. Her body began to move down the hallway of its own will as she heard the faint talk of someone she felt was familiar. It was as if she was being called by a mysterious force to follow the voice to the door at the end of the building. She turned her head to call for Sasha’s help but it was of no use. She couldn’t see her new friend anywhere instead she continued to walking down the mysterious hallway.
