The gateway to wisdom(open,social)

Chiyo was casually walking along the sidewalk when she crashed into someone, spilling the books that were in her arms. She scrambled to retrieve them, her black hair pooling around her, her blue eyes full of panic. She hoped that none of the books had been wrecked... She needed them, needed the knowledge they would provide.

Zecarayus was at oak town for the rumor that they had a library filled with many tomes of magics, their were two kinds of tomes he was after; necromancy and dragons. He was looking for both since as of recent events he needed the information or else...well he at least thought he needed them for the situation he had been given. Fortunately at the library he did learn that they did have tomes and books on both subjects at the library, but when he went to look most were gone. When he asked the librarian he learned that a large group of people recently came in and checked out a lot of the books, and it just so happened that dragons and necromancy related subjects were chosen with it. Since they were no longer there he moved on, a bit disappointing at the event, but he figured he roam a little in oak town since he had never been at the place before.

The walk around also gave him time to think about how to get the information he needed, and left him deep in thought. However he was brought out of it when he heard a clatter of books fall from behind him. He looked and noticed a woman picking up the fallen books, looking panicked. No one else was trying to help, so he went back and started to pick up the fallen books helping her. "Hopefully none of these are dirty from the sidewalk." he would have said to her as he helped. A thought then entered his mind, he realized these could be the books he was looking for, then realized by the title of one of the books this one at least was, he paused and examined the title, "White necromancy?" He said the title to himself with curiosity, he had never heard of the subject before.

Chiyo looked gratefully at the stranger. "A mage, are you? I can tell. You look like one." The 18 year old wizard dusted the books off. "Thank you, by the way. I'm chiyo. You are?" Chiyo looked at him with her icy blue eyes full of curiosity. She brushed off her slightly Gothic outfit and white jacket.

It felt a little insulting to be here of all places. Somewhere among the most renowned library's in all of Fiore... And here sat one brunette with no ability to see those around her, or things around her without a slight footstep. It was a simply astounding fear among others to travel from one to another on foot, but to do it when the person is blind makes things just a little bit more of a difficulty in trying to do so, unless you happened to be this particular Mage. Despite the disability of sight, the magic she possessed made the simplest things such as walking an ease. Among using hearing in places where it was quieter than a city street, it was easy to slip through them rather than to simply avoid it all since people would tend to maneuver themselves around her as well as her attempt to go about and around her own as well.

Aoi continued her way through the streets, feeling as though a habit other would make her feel rather compelled to want to walk among people and try to adjust to normalcy as much as someone whom was contracted to Eris would be able to call normal. A commotion had caused the blind Mage to pause in her place, a hand lightly touching the wall next to her. a strange object hit her foot and made her jump just slightly while it seemed people walked around this area from the sound of the small talk and footsteps. Reaching down, she managed to find the book and picked it up, holding it against her dress; a light sky blue colored cheongsam dress with a white dragon design wrapping up from the bottom along the left side. Her brunette hair left down and a small portion pulled from the sides and tied back with a ribbon of equal length as her usual, cherished one and just in a color matching her outfit. With one step, she found the person whom had their accident and proceeded to approach them, the book outstretched and waiting for her to accept it. "Here's one more. It slid away from ya." She spoke abruptly and down to the point, not really caring to beat around the bush with a story. Golden orbs would stare down, following he sound of the person standing before she would be able to get an answer.

Her comment to him brought him out of his thoughts, and realized he was still knelt over while she was standing up. He got up with the books he gathered and introduced himself. "Uh yeah! I am a mage, uh one moment." He took a moment to get a better hold of the books and then introduced himself to chiyo, "I am zecarayus trevelean." He said with a small bow, he then noticed some of the titles of the book he was holding, Ice maker magic? Archival magic? he thought to himself. He was now curious to why she had these books talking about different magics, especially the white necromancy book.

So zecarayus was going to ask chiyo about why she had these books when suddenly another woman interrupted bluntly, holding out one of the fallen books. Zecarayus looked a little surprised, he had not heard the woman approach and now looking at her, the way she looked made him curious, especially since he had never seen someone with gold colored eyes. She was holding out one of the books as if expecting someone to take it. Zecarayus would have taken the book, "Thank you for finding this." he would have said while taking the outstretched book from her. He would have then noticed that the three there now were taking up the sidewalk, and he still wanted to ask chiyo for a look at least one of the books. "Uh chiyo? Would you mind if we moved elsewhere? I mean ah, I'd like to ask you about some of the books you have here without blocking the sidewalk, if you don't mind me asking you about them." he asked, he was a little nervous since he was unsure if it was a ok thing to ask a person you just met that.

Chiyo shrugged, though secretly she was pleased. Was he someone else who sought knowledge to furthur their skills? "Why not?" Chiyo brushed her dark hair out of her face with an impatient sigh. She stood up, her long legs unfolding gracefully from the cramped position she had been in before.

He would have nodded and led chiyo forward leaving the mysterious golden eye girl behind, not thinking much of her besides as a helpful bystander. Zecarayus would have then led her to what appeared to be a cafe with outdoor seating and would have chosen a table under the shade the cafe offered. He would sit down in a seat that was across from where chiyo could sit down at, "Hope you don't mind here." He would have said to her as he put the books he gathered on the table, looking at their spines he would have held a gaze at the one book that had on it "White Necromancy" before looking at her and ask, "So, why do you have all these books on different magics? I only ask because I don't know too much people who would pick up this many tomes in one sitting."

"Simply because I seek knowledge. I like knowing things, especially about magic." The bloodbending mage looked at him with her icy eyes curious. She brushed her hair out of her face with a sigh before smiling at him.

A want for knowledge? Zecarayus thought to himself, and grew a little wary of chiyo. Simply put he knew people from before who wanted knowledge for power, and in the end regardless their was always death. But he knew that he wanted knowledge too, so he had to realize that a want of knowledge is not enough reason to be wary of someone. Speaking of knowledge. "Well, if you don't mind me saying, you should really avoid some magics. I only say that because I noticed you picked up a necromancy book." He said as he pulled the white necromancy book from the pile showing it to her. "Necromancy usually works around the manipulation of the dead and their desires mixing with yours. As such unless your a necromancer you should probably avoid books like these since it's easy for the spirits to take over you..."he would have took a pause as he turned the book to where he could see the front cover and look at it for a moment, he had such a want to read the book. "Uh" he would have started then looked up at chiyo from the book, "Do you mind if I read this a little? You see I like knowing about magic too, but more so about necromancy. So would it be ok if I read this a little? Then I would be on my way." he finished with a nervous smile, of course he wanted to know because he was a necromancer who wanted to know about this type of it, but he was not sure yet if it was ok to talk about the magic in public.

"that? go shead. i only got it to better undrstand my friend, who has some abilitys with necromancy." chiyo looked at him with interest. a necromancer. interesting... the young woman had narrowed her eyes ever so lightly.
