Job Title:
The End of Existence
Rank:
100 Year
Player Requirements:
At least 5 Guilds must be present (Guildless may count towards that), all of which each guild has one member that is at least S rank or higher.
Job Requirements:
At least 250 Posts with a 450 Word Minimum per post. For this job, no monster dice will be rolled. The story goes by the order of enemies, starting from Weak to Boss.
Job Location:
The Phoenix Mountains
Job Description:
"The world is breaking apart, piece by piece. Humanity wants to destroy itself, I was so sure they would have worked together. As one... My mistake for thinking so highly of them. Perhaps... They don't need to live, if they plan to have such little use. The day has come."
It's all breaking apart. Starting from the sunrise, exactly at midnight, the world could only seem to be... Dissolving away, blending into the air? Not even, the air being taken along. This could be the first sight of matter being destroyed. Warnings have been sent through all the guilds, legal and dark all the same. Every bit of mass, shattered. The mages have been analyzing the direction of what's being broken away from existence. Whatever is causing this, turns out to have it being done in a circular formation towards one certain point. The Magic Council sent out a high threat alert to anything, anyone, to investigate the scene. According to analysts, the whole earth would cease to exist at midnight exactly. The last place to be consumed by this would be the Phoenix Mountains. The theory is that might be where the source of the chaos is occurring. The party that decides to take this must investigate the Phoenix Mountains, look for the source, and put a stop to it at any and all costs.
Enemies:
Weak:
Avalanche: As you scale up the mountain, you will experience a bit of problems with it as the world is being destroyed, the ground is shaking, and it begins to chunk off. Eventually, the party will be attacked by a landslide of rocks, and anyone crushed by it will take S ranked damage. This is a coincidence, don't quite assume you are seen yet.
Normal:
Chaos Wave: A sudden wave of darkness from the mountain would shoot through everything in Phoenix Mountains. All the formations around the mountain would be destroyed, and anything that is hit by it takes H rank damage. This was designed to stop the party or strike intimidation into them at the least. But at least you are noticed, meaning you are getting close.
Strong:
The Welcome Wagon before the true nightmare waiting ahead, you are almost at the top of the mountain now. They don't have much a difference in each of their magics, all of them with a magic similar to a Fallen God Slayer magic. Each physical strike inflicts S rank damage, and each spell attack inflicts H rank damage. It takes 50 H rank hits to defeat each one of them, and all of them must be defeated before you can advance.
Boss:
Asteriks
The source of the chaos will be found on the top of the Phoenix Mountains, watching the world slowly closing in on itself. By the time she is found, only the Mountains remain. Everything you love that is not located there, gone. Simply, gone. Never to be seen again... While this being is alive. She is neither demon nor angel, but above any Deity or Demon one has yet to witness. Her being is unconfirmed to the current knowledge of this existing world. However, this is the only step between your party and everything you have lost. You could get is all back, provided you are able to beat such an opponent. This is going to be the roughest battle and toughest opponent to ever face.
One thing that one must consider in how strong she is. To be able to erase existence within a day, one should think about that before taking a step towards her. She has Arc of Embodiment Magic, and can split herself into three different versions of herself without any downsides. To defeat Asterik(s), you must be able to inflict 150 H ranked hits onto her. Each physical strike that she lands inflicts X rank damage. Each spell strike she lands inflicts 2X rank damage.
Reward:
Well, the world and everything in it is restored.
The favor of the Magic Council for saving the existence of the world.
300,000 Jewels.

- Appearance:
One thing that one must consider in how strong she is. To be able to erase existence within a day, one should think about that before taking a step towards her. She has Arc of Embodiment Magic, and can split herself into three different versions of herself without any downsides. To defeat Asterik(s), you must be able to inflict 150 H ranked hits onto her. Each physical strike that she lands inflicts X rank damage. Each spell strike she lands inflicts 2X rank damage.
- Abilities:
- Regretful Actions: Any damage inflicted onto her is inflicted onto the attacker. This is an auto-hit ability.
Aura Hazard: Those within 100 Meters of her lose 5% HP per turn, and for each mage included, she gains 1 H rank worth of health back.
Teleportation: She is here. Now she is there. She is able to teleport anywhere, at anytime. Catching her is going to be quite the puzzle.
All-Seeing: She is full-well aware of what her enemies are doing at all time.
Spreading Chaos: Two more copies of this same exact user can be made, with the same exact abilities and spells as the original. They have their own separate health bars and can act on their own.
- Spells:
- Ultimate Perfect Paralysis: Any being within 200 Meters of her while she casts out this spell is locked in place, unable to move, use magic, abilities, items, or lineages. This paralysis occurs for one turn. This spell has a five post cooldown
Halcyon Nightmare: Each being within 200 meters of her can no longer see any being that is considered an ally, giving the illusion that they are alone against Asteriks for one post. This means a lack of communication and teamwork for that duration. This spell has a five post cooldown.
Arsorbing Iron: For one post, no knockback or damage is taken. But any damage taken instead is healed as health. During this post, only abilities may be used. This has a three post cooldown.
Death Touch: One simple poke of the finger onto one target, and that target takes 3X damage. This is increased to 6X on targets that wield light magic. This has a two post cooldown.
Reward:
Well, the world and everything in it is restored.
The favor of the Magic Council for saving the existence of the world.
