Description: Born within the ever-frozen Jotundar Mountains of Kanto are a race of phoenix with an unorthodox reversal of bloodlines, rather than the usual strong flame of rebirth it is the cold frost of truth and while most phoenix are partially manifest of their element the creature at first appears to be a gargantuan bird of prey. This race of mystical beasts are known as the Articuno, a very rare breed of phoenix with predominantly blue plumage throughout it's body, two giant wings of blue that both crest at six to seven feet wide at adulthood, and huge tail-feathers from four to six feet in length at adulthood. From it's legs to the tip of the head, each Articuno varies, being born no more than two feet tall and growing to a maximum size of nine feet tall, with the females tending to be taller. Lapella is an Articuno who is in her full prime of adulthood, standing eight and a half feet with a four-foot tail plume and a pair of six foot wide wings. She has bonded with Yuki Chimei since the latter raised her from an egg, developing a deep connection which cannot be shattered, and Yuki cares for Lapella like a mother does her child. Lapella is hearty and won't stay down for long with three-hundred fifty (350) and her attacks deal five points of damage base per rank from D-rank onward to A-rank (Currently does 10 damage base).

Description: Articuno are known to exert their aspect in ways that are unique to that particular Ice Phoenix, and through this power each Articuno becomes unique to themselves in some way. Lapelle's uniqueness surrounds herself and the vicinity around herself within a layer of sheer cold that bites into the very bone of those found within the range of 10ft which expands by 2ft per rank, scaling with Lapella's rank to A-rank. If you are within this aura you will take a constant damage equal to 50% damage of a spell equal to Lapella's rank up to A. Finally, any who leave the area will suffer from 25% damage of a spell equal to Lapella's rank up to A, as a damage over time effect for the next three posts.
Strengths:- Creates a powerful aura of freezing cold with a lingering effect to those within
Weaknesses:- Fire magic and sources of great heat can shut the aura down completely, taking no damage.
- Resistance to ice magic will also resist against the damage of the aura and lingering DoT.

Description: A deep connection between Lapella and Yuki exist which creates a powerful bond between the two, This has been responsible in changing Lapella into something different and greater than nearly any previous Articuno has become for while she has sacrificed much of her ancestral power- Lapelle has gained as well. Due to this, Yuki and Lapella may 'Merge' int one being which places Lapelle within Yuki. While merged, any damage suffered will be inter-changeable between the two with the articuno able to take two and a half times (2.5x) the rank of the ability for Yuki.
Strengths:- Lapella may emerge partially from Yuki while merged, if she so chooses.
Weaknesses:- Weaknesses which Yuki suffers or vice-versa will be suffered by both while merged.
