Harada quickly understood what he had to do in order to deal with all the possible threats. However, just as he thought the only thing he had to deal with was the pack of wolves, his partner had formed wings of light in order to raise himself above the battleground. Because of this, the arena was slightly illuminated which revealed a new threat to Harada; it appeared to be a tendril composed of pure darkness. The tendril had already been formed and was heading towards him with stunning, but so was the pack of wolves. Just as the tendril would have caught him, he jumped to the side, moving the lead wolf directly in the path of the tendril. Before the wolf even realized what had happened, it had been savagely cut down and permanently taken out of the fight. Harada had successfully taken the number of threats from seven down to five, but it was still no time to celebrate as the rest of the wolves had become even more vicious after witnessing their alpha's death.
He decided to handle them one at a time and to do that, he would have to perform a sort of dance with the wolves, though he would have to make it quick so that he could join the fight and continue to aid his partner. Harada was slightly irritated that he had to deal with wolves; it was much too easy and it was extremely insulting to him. Though he figured this was an attempt to separate him from his partner and make it easier for them to win the battle, but this was a ploy that was going to fail. He singled one wolf out and examined the positions of the pack, he grasped the handle of his ice shard and just as his target leaped at him he swung his sword at the wolf's midsection, allowing him to pass clean through the pack without a single scratch.
Just as he finished using one wolf as a shield, the rest of the pack turned to attack again, he jumped forward and felt the wolves quite literally nipping at his heels. He faced the pack once more, choosing which one to kill and noticed the pack of four was now boxing him in. He examined the legs of each wolf, noting how close each one was to leaping. Just as the first wolf leaped towards him, he flipped around it and used it as a shield, forcing another wolf to kill one of its own by ripping its stomach out. Now, there was only three wolves left, but Harada could tell that they were getting increasingly furious by the second. His eyes met with the one in the middle, the wolf that had just tore the insides of his brother out with nothing but its teeth. This wolf was looking for redemption, just as anyone would be after being tricked into killing someone close to you.
His sword was at the ready, but he knew he would not need it for this next animal. Before the wolf could strike, Harada advanced and grabbed it by its neck, crushing its neck completely with one hand. The wolf's body fell limp in his hand, he dropped it on the ground and turned to the last two wolves. Harada began to feel extreme hatred for the person who sent the animals into the arena to face him. It was obvious that the wolves would stand no chance against him, all this accomplished was sending six wolves to their meaningless deaths. He glanced over to his partner, hoping that he was making these bastards pay. Just as he moved his eyes, the last two wolves decided to attack.
He had been foolish to drop his guard, even against an opponent such as an animal. He managed to dodge one wolf, but the other tackled him to the ground and went to bite his neck. Harada threw his left arm up, and blocked with his forearm, the wolf bit down and began trying to chew threw Harada's arm. Fortunately, the wolf had bitten into nothing but his arm bracer, which snapped in two just before he kicked the wolf off. He jumped up just as the wolf was going for another strike, he swung his sword and cleaved its head in two.
Harada was down to one last wolf and he was done wasting time, the last wolf was terrified now since its entire pack was dead. He felt bad for the poor animal, afraid and alone, it backed itself against the arena wall. It was growling and whining, not sure whether to attack or flee, it's ears were behind its head, its head was down and its entire body was shaking.
"Damn it...", he said before performing one swift swing to the wolf's head. Hopefully, the wolf had died with no pain, he held no anger against the wolves for attacking, but wish they were wiser to retreat before any of them died. Regardless, he was done dealing with that and was prepared to get back into the fight. He got rid of the remainder of his arm bracer and began searching for his opponent. He saw the faint outline of the one who had created the tendrils, he pointed the sword and created a small white circle directly underneath their feet.
