'Cause it would be nice that my position could go in "Position" rather than rank.

I agree with Strawberry-kun. Perhaps the Sinners/Saints/etc could be included in those position spots.
Or having things people can get positions from a system that'll be added sometime in the foreseeable future would be cool too.

Mind you, there are also quests that give titles. For instance, Elyx has "The Vanquisher" in the Position area from a quest he did.

Anyway, i'm pretty sure that it was meant to be used for things like sinners and stuff....not sure if anyone ever bothered with it though. OR perhaps for things like guildmaster.

This is a really small thing... I'm going to bring it up w/ dev team to vote for making it official on what that slot is for, or at least getting a note on patch notes... But I HIGHLY doubt that using that slot for Sinner/Saint/Star/Storm will be voted against. If anything it runs a massive chance of being voted up...

In any case let us all agree to one thing:

The Relevance of "Positions" has no meaning, all in all because the dungeon system was never finished in the first place.

If it still serves no purpose then it must be removed, otherwise admins and mods must finish the dungeon system, we already had a handful of people wondering about its function. If dev staff still deems it usable them have a "temporary" function for it instead. Something feasible, player friendly unlike what the PVP reward system may bring.

Go up, read my post. Already explained what the spot was for, so being demanding that a system get finished because of it is not something you should be doing.

The spot is set for staff to be the only one's to change it. Or people start using it for bogus positions and things that it's not meant for.

Well, from what I could garner, this is just something we'll have to wait to see the full potential to.

Obviously the dungeon isn't finished yet, and it hasn't been finished for a long time now, but that's fine. The "Positions" can still exist without it, or until it comes into play. For now, they're stuff obtainable by actual site positions, and apparently Elyx got one from a job, so... there's no harm in it.

And in the case of special positions being a part of it, I for one, would like to have mine filled up as a God of Ishval. The first one, at that.
