Post by Merlin Ambrosius 6th May 2016, 6:52 am

Yes it was that time again for the Old Magician to do what he does best, other than creating new magical items, he comes down to Rose Garden weekly to flirt with a lot of women. Its something that the Magus himself would enjoy from time to time, if not mistaken, he would have been the oldest perverted troll in all of Earthland.

Well of course nobody knows his real identity and if they do, his enemies would find him easily. After spending the entire morning practicing his lecherous behavior, he decided to return to Garan no dou and lift the spell which had altered his appearance, now he's back, from a weird looking pervert back to being a young man. The magus entered his building, as the door chimed, Kyrie, his assistant, rushed over and attended to him.

"Hello Master!" Kyrie greeted the magus with a smile as she was pet on the head.
"So how are we progressing?" He asked.

"Its going well master, we are producing satisfactory results with the new items crafted! Also we have a few private requests from our clients, would you like to see them sir?" The Magus nodded as he was handed a few pages that contains information about the job details.

"Well I'm glad we're a fully functional agency, shame nobody would like to inquire for surgical services but it goes to show most people would rather go to a regular hospital than visit an underworld doctor, anyways if they are able, have them issued by next week, I'll prepare the items needed for those requests, stick to the protocol Kyrie."
The magus ordered as he headed upstairs to his office. Every Garan no Dou building consists of three floors, whereas the second floor seems non-existent to anyone who would ascend the stairs and the third floor would be his office.

Sometimes the third floor isn't always his office, and if anyone would force entry they'd find themselves in another place. Of course the magus would always prepare multiple levels of boundary fields. From out the window of the office comes Archimedes, his pet owl as a message was tied to one of its legs for the magus to read.

"Oh phoo! What's keeping Robin so long? I do hope he's alright, I expect a good explanation for his tardiness, go where you need to be Archimedes." His owl flies out of the window but not to the skies of the Rose Garden. The Magus looked outside the window, looking down the streets of the Rose Garden and as the last customer exits Garan no Dou, the place was once again idle.

They were just minutes away from Rose Garden and for now Dubhlainn will have to take measures upon approaching the city, telling his passenger to remain in the carriage until he says so. It was amazing how the cart managed to stay durable after long hours but they have finally arrived. On the way Dubhlainn and his passenger managed to see an unsightly pervert who was taking his chances with ladies. No matter how refined the city of Rose Garden is, there's always its bad sides, such as citizens like him who are littered in the streets but of course its natural, its human nature after all.

"We're almost there, have a little more patience." The horses stopped at a nearby building, Dubhlainn raised his hand motioning the old magus to open the depo, the place where it used to ship its supplies and such. If anyone where to see Dubhlainn and his passenger, they would conclude that they are here on business or to visit the people of Garan no Dou.

The old man has to descend down now. Until they are in the building, or that the Magus hasn't come forth, they are to remain in the cart. He prays that they aren't being followed, then again nobody has seen Dubhlainn's face and only Marceline's appearance was captured by officials. One thing for sure, word hasn't reached Rose Garden city just yet and everyone mistook them as regulars.

    I HAVE BECOME DEATH
    the destroyer of worlds
    TAGGED: ...   |   WORDS: 529   |  NOTES: ...
She was ordered to remain within the carriage driven by Dubhlainn, something that she wasn't all too fond of. However, she remembered riding in carriages such as ones like this, though far more elegant, in order to get to places. If memory served her right, there had always been a chauffeur that would open the doors and help them down. They weren't really that fond of memories, but they were ones she cherished because they had her elder brother in them. One of her most favorite memories had been of a time when they were heading to a gala as young children together. The two of them were in the back seat, chattering away with each other, smiling and, overall, being happy with each other. It brought a smile to her face when she recalled Isaac and how he had loved her so much as she had loved him.

Marceline moved a hand upward and pushed the window shade out of her way, staring out at the massive city of Rose Garden. Lacrima street lamps lined the sidewalks, though because it was midday, parting into the evening, they hadn't lit up yet. People wandered down the cement walkways, walking to their work, home, or a simple destination of entertainment. One particular being caught her attention though, and that was of a raggedy, old man, who was hunting down and hitting on quite a few younger women. Marcy wrinkled her nose up in disgusted and let the shade drop away from where it was held, obscuring her vision of the man. He disgusted her to an extend, feeding off his desire to touch women without their permission, such a pervert. She was no better though, not when she had previously raped women and men, respectively before her gender change.

"You turn away in abhorrence at a natural scene of man vs woman, yet you, yourself, have done such a thing before," Death uttered in her head.

"Yes, but there were reasons behind why I had done such obscene things. . ." Marceline answered the voice in her mind.

"Is that so, my little pet?" Death inquired, His voice having risen an octave to show the curiosity in it.

"Of course, Master; I raped those women because of the requirements of the jobs; it was to get my name out there as well."

"I see. . . Well, in that case, perhaps you should return to watching that old, 'perverse' man; maybe you'll get ideas. . ."

A frown appeared on the woman's frail-looking, ashen face as Death went silent on her, and she turned back to the window. As she did so, the carriage came to a halt, but while Dubhlainn waved the Magus down, Marceline did not move from her place.

Per instructed, the woman remained silent and resting in the carriage, awaiting the moment Dubhlainn motioned for her to come out. "Dubhlainn?" she called after a few moments of silence had passed by with no clue or hint to whether she could come out. "Ist this vere your freund is supposed to be and if so, what gut vill it do for me to meet such a person?"

Post by Merlin Ambrosius 8th May 2016, 8:06 am

Just as when he was about to make some tea for himself, Kyrie called out to him and told him that they have visitors. As the Magus were to look down on the window, he would see Dubhlainn handling the reigns, it seems he have brought someone with him but who could it be? Only one way to find out as he rushed down from his office into the depo station and opened up the roll ups. The Old Magus was wearing casuals, an attire which it may seem that he was ready for bed but of course Dubhlainn rarely visits the magus so this must have been a bit urgent.

The Magus motioned Dubhlainn to pull the Carriage in and when Dubhlainn were to do so, the rolling doors close and lights were lit.

"Its been awhile Dubhlainn!" He greeted him as he twirled around, magically materializing his formal magus robes on. "Its been far too long since your last visit no? Have you finally grown bored and come to spend time with me?" Of course he knew he wasn't here to socialize as it would seem that there's someone Dubhlainn would like for the Magus to meet.

The Magus noticed that the cart is currently under the control of Dubhlainn's magic but for what purpose? It would be unnecessary him for his magic to take control of the cart unless...

"So Dubhlainn, who's our guest for today?"

Following the magus came out Hans, a former Garou Knight who was thought to be dead and is now working with him. Hans sensed a bad omen in the carriage, the feeling was familiar as if death came towards their door. He was temporarily serving the magus as a bodyguard until he finds a more suitable position in Garan no Dou, since he had long protected the Archive from any intruders, he had grown bored.

Before Hans had troubles of finding the perfect job in Garan no Dou, he was a famous Garou Knight that had executed powerful individuals who controlled the economy in Fiore that were proven to be corrupt and had consorted with Dark Guilds, of course he was presumed dead years after his retirement. Hans clicked the sheathe of his sword as the magus would have held on to his shoulder, telling him to stand down.

A feeling ran down his spine, he was probably threatened by whoever is inside the carriage.

Its been a few minutes, before it could even rain, the doors leading to the cargo bay opens, Dubhlainn pulled the reigns as the horses were guided inside. Downpour has started, the cargo bay doors close behind before any drop of water were to come in. The horses exhaled and stomped their front hooves, if there was a trough in front of them they'd drink right away. Mejai took it upon himself to invite them in and it seems he was just about to get ready for bed. Hopefully he didn't come at a bad time, it would upset his passenger and the purpose of coming here would be all but a waste.

"Likewise, Mejai.." he dismounted from the carriage as the effects of his magic slowly fades. Mejai was formerly part of the Magic Council and served under the department of magical research and development, he had known Dubhlainn before his employment to Era, of course he did, Dubhlainn was under the command of his niece that time. It was actually coincidence that both of them met again in Earthland under different circumstances.

Dubhlainn called out to his passenger. "Its alright, come on out..."

The stone faced man slowly opened the carriage revealing to the magus his passenger. It was none other than Marceline Anicetus, the woman in Mejai's reports, now Dubhlainn has given the magus a chance to know her up close as he would have wished. Mejai would know now that Dubhlainn was being serious in his decision.

    I HAVE BECOME DEATH
    the destroyer of worlds
    TAGGED: ...   |   WORDS: 445   |  NOTES: ...
A man's unfamiliar voice emitted into the air, greeting the dullahan and his charge when they pitted in the cargo bay. Marceline let the curtain fall back from where she was holding it again, letting her face disappear from sight. She sat stark still in her place inside of the cart, listening as Dubhlainn responded to the magus and his greeting. He dismounted from the carriage and walked around the other side to the owner of Garou no dou, speaking softly now. The moment he had gotten off the carriage, and his magic had lost its effect on the ride, hers took his place. It burst out into a dark, ashen spark, eating away at the bottom of the cart, until holes began to appear in the woodwork. This left the coach with rotting bits of wood, that crumbled to the ground at the slightest touch, and weakened framing.

When Dubhlainn opened the door to the carriage, the aura of death had swooped out in a billowing cloud of ash. Marcy stood up and ducked her head down as she took the first step onto the stairway of the coach and descended them. Each step that she took, the wood on which she stood had rotted and crumbled away, soon nothing was left of the steps. Her red and tattered cloak settled around her, hiding the near revealing outfit that she wore beneath it. She now stood before Merlin, hands clasped together and pressed close to her bodice as she glanced up and looked at him. What little words had been spoken to Dubhlainn, Marceline had kept her mouth shut as she watched the young lad. Before long, her eyes darted toward the knight that stood behind Merlin, who stared back at her with a fearful look.

"Schön klein junge," she uttered in her native tongue to the knight, who was told to back down from his stance. "Bist du von Tod erschrecken? Terrified dat Er'll come zu get you, creep along your spine und take a bite at your neck?" A sly grin appeared on her lips and she looked away from the knight, back to the young magus standing before her. This was where she curtsied lowly to the man, then straightened back up and gave him a condescending smile. "Are you the man that Dubhlainn speaks so highly of?" The smile never left her face as she asked him the question. "He has taken it upon himself to bring me to you, for what reason, I don't entirely understand, but I am here now. It is a pleasure to meet your acquaintance young boy; I am Marceline Anicetus, servant to Death, himself."

Sanson was starting to get irritated though Mejai knows what Marceline is saying, Sanson isn't but despite that he knows she is threatening him. He was so tempted to behead her right here as his instincts to execute criminals starts to surface, his eyes were bloodshot.

Mejai couldn't believe his eyes, to see the woman in the reports in the flesh. He noticed the wooden parts of the carriage slowly being dissolved but not probably because of Dubhlainn's magic but it was her all this time. Now it makes sense, Dubhlainn had controlled the carriage to prevent it from being affected by her magic and ever since their job in crocus, its natural for Dubhlainn to hide her from the populace. Dubhlainn brought her here instead of killing her, did he find some hope and humanity in her? Perhaps the Magus would be the judge of that.

"Ah yes, I bet he said a lot of wonderful things about me! I'm Mejai Kaijura, owner and founder of Garan no Dou, the contract based agency. So let's see here, Marceline Anicetus, I just hope my informant's accurate descriptions of you were corrects. Now..." The Magus started to walk around her to examine her appearance, if he were to observe, simply by trying to poke her clothing, his finger turns grey as blood would stop flowing.

"Hmmm..an aura that neutralizes essence of all organic things... mind if you take off a part of your attire and give it to me?" He notices that Sanson is getting a bit irritated.

"Sanson, call Lily tell her to address us to the "Site" immediately." Sanson slowly turns away, a quick call to his name causes him to turn, Mejai threw a lacrima orb towards him only to be caught perfectly. Sanson disappears into the door ahead.

"Now I'd like to know too, Dubhlainn why have you brought her to me?" The magus can't help but shoot glances at her, probably because he finds her attractive or that his lecherous behavior became a real trait instead of a fake one. If Marceline were to give him a piece of clothing, he'd ask about how they are made and who was the seamstress? Otherwise it wouldn't matter, Mejai would conduct his magical examination on her anyways regardless of Dubhlainn's reasons.

Unlike the magus who's so fluent, Dubhlainn could only understand little about her dialect. Though her words had already irritated the magus's bodyguard. He'd probably do the same if he were in his place. The magus and Marceline bought greeted each other as Mejai would circle around Marceline in such strange fashion, a question to grab some of her clothing, could he be acting out of his lecherous behaviour?

    Wait.....

So does that mean that it was the old man he saw earlier? He must have seen them coming, was he trying to loaf around like he knew nothing or he really didn't expect them? A mystery that will be taken down to his grave. The Magus attempted to poke only for his finger to wilt and dry out before her, he knew of Marceline's life eating aura so why did he do it? Probably wanted to know that his informants were telling the truth or he took it upon himself to do such stupidity. Its sometimes hard to understand this man and perhaps that's what makes him dangerous as an enemy and great as an ally no matter how awkward his moments with him are.

The magus motioned his bodyguard to perform a chore, he handed to him a lacrima orb of sorts and left the cargo bay. Now it was just the three of them, Mejai started to ask him why he brought her here. Of course Dubhlainn didn't bring her here out on a whim...

"I wanted to help her diminish the factors of her own inversion, also I would want her to be granted the opportunity to interact with people without having the fear to degrade them to nothing. She's limited to herself but not to others and I know you can help Grand Magus... your efforts will allow her to gain self-control despite her recurring impulses."

He bowed his head, telling the magus the validity of his reasons. There was no need to say these words as the magus would immediately understood.

There is some humanity left in her.

    I HAVE BECOME DEATH
    the destroyer of worlds
    TAGGED: ...   |   WORDS: 516   |  NOTES: ...
Marceline watched as Mejai walked around her, even dared to poke a finger in her death aura, despite already being inside of it. Instinctively, she let the aura flare outward, allowing for it to take control of all the things in the surrounding eighty feet. What boxes, cartons, et cetera were held within the cargo bay were now being eaten alive by the aura around her. She reached forward when Mejai had brought his finger closer to her, grabbing hold of his hand with her own. In the case that this had happened, his arm would have rotted partially, the skin turning into ash, revealing muscle, the muscle turning into ash, revealing bone. Despite all that it rotted, the bone would never decay, as if it could only eat at the living flesh of those she touched. Her hand had it been touching the magus, would release its grasp on him and fall back to her side, hiding underneath her cloak.

When he had spoken to Sanson, her fiery eyes would look back at the man and watch him catch the lacrima orb. He'd give her a look of utter hatred, one of wanting to lop her head off, then would be off on his way to Lily. She'd look back to Mejai and tilt her head when he asked her to remove a piece of her clothing, almost disgusted by his request. However, she grimaced and undid the buIttons on her cloak, peeling it off carefully before handing it to him. The moment it was no longer on her, the cloak would crumble into ash, as if it was entirely made out of it. It was true, all of her clothes was that of ash, bent and used to make the illusion of clothing on her body. This, she had allowed for it to be turned to ash, into nothingness, simply to show that she had control over her belongings.

"He spoke highly of a friend, yes, but never specified exactly that it was you who he was friends with," she answered him. "Oh, and my clothing is made entirely from the crushed bones of my victims; I hope that you don't mind. . ." She'd look at him with a solemn, cold look in her eyes and then to Dubhlainn, who had answered Mejai's question. "Mejai. . . please, do not go around leching other women, I would hate to see you fell at the bullet of Death." The expression on her face never changed as she easily threatened the man, though did not know he, too, could not die. A frown coursed over her lips, as if she did not like the answer that Dubh had given the magus once spoken. At first, she did not say anything, simply kept her mouth shut, but later on, she had thought of something to say.

"I am perfectly fine not being able to touch others without decaying them," she retorted to Dubhlainn, despite not being spoken to. "I don't know what makes you think I'm 'inverting' on myself or what the hell 'inversion' even means."

"Oh my!" He was surprised at how potent her powers are, his right arm has bits of flesh torn from him and yet it didn't hurt. Perhaps it wasn't meant to become painful rather it simply just eats away anything organic or ages it to dust, however its too soon for him to judge that.

"Fascinating, you nearly destroyed my right arm, at least now I can see the accuracy of the reports about you." He cast a rune into the air as a a bandage would magically wrap his right arm as it starts to glow. It would take a day or two to completely repair his arm but nevertheless despite that he can still use it as long as the magical bandage is fully wrapped on it. Unlike most of Marceline's victims, the magus wasn't the slightest bit worried about it at all.

He must have been the strangest man Marceline has ever met. "Oh? Me Leching around? What gave you that idea?" He chuckled as he grabbed his book which cover seemed to have decayed a bit. "Now follow me through the door and we'll be going to a more suitable area, come now chop chop! Its rare for Dubhlainn to bring people to me for help and if so I must do my best to contribute!"

If Dubhlainn and Marceline were to go through the door, they would enter an open space where the winds can be felt from here. They'd come out from a tree and there was nothing but grass, dirt and a small laboratory with only four walls and a roof. This was Mejai's testing area, if something were to be too much for his original workshop to deal with, there's always this place where he can perform his experiments, of course today of all days the area will be used for an examination on Marceline. Hence there's no fear in her decaying any object in sight as majority of the area is coated in Ichor.

    The reason? That's classified information.

Ichor was a preservative that prevents decay and death, hence even with Marceline's presence it won't damage the environment, probably Merlin and Sanson who carries a briefcase and stands in front of the laboratory. The place where they are? A small plot of land in Sukai.

"Wonderful isn't it? Its like you're within the borders of heaven itself! Now Sanson, if you please." Sanson walks towards the laboratory and sets the briefcase on the table, revealing a number of magical items that would be used for examination.

"Dubhlainn, stay by her side for a moment, she may get a little nervous" It was meant to tease them both.

Mejai was entirely incorrect about her magic, for it could cause pain, but she had the ability to control that aspect of it. One thing about the decaying process that no one knew, was that it was, in fact, a painful process to go through. However, because the beast that was decaying was already dead, it would not be able to feel the excruciating sensation. She supposed, in that sense, that it was a blessing no one was able to feel the extensive pain of her magic. The only true time she had ever made it, so that someone was in agonizing want of true death, was during battles. Their faces as they distorted and contorted into looks of immeasurable pain was something that Marceline enjoyed. To see that helpless look on their face as they cried out from the agony at which her magic caused sent shivers down her spine.

Her eyes studied the other magus as he talked about her being in reports, which came to her as a surprise. What person had written reports on her? Or perhaps her destructiveness had reached that of news reports and the like? She didn't like the idea of being in the news, she didn't like the idea of being the center of attention when she just wanted to hide. After all, she was nothing, but a monster, and monsters were things that needed to die in order to not cause issues. Before long, a bounty would be over her head and Rune Knights, guildless mages, and the like would all be after her. Marcy found herself swallowing a lump down her throat and biting her lip in thought about the situation that would put her in. "Since when am I in reports, Mejai?" the woman inquired, tilting her head a little out of the curiosity that took hold of her.

Her eyebrows scrunched together when he answered her about his leching earlier on, frowning at his answer. "I saw you earlier, you were that old man, no? Why do you do that to all of the young women?" she questioned him now. "Why not just walk about in our natural state? What harm would come to you if they saw what you truly looked like?" He was a man she didn't full understand, especially with the nature of his magic and his attitude toward people as a whole. Since she had come here, she had been nothing, but a sort of experiment toward the man and it frustrated her. Mejai saw her as a thing rather than a human being, something he could test and learn more about her magic. Marceline didn't like that idea of being tested on and questioned things that she likely would not be able to answer.

Following after the young mage, the woman glanced away from his backside to look around at the open space that led from the door. Wind brushed up against her, but because of her body's lack of feeling, she did not feel the touch of the breeze. It did, however, play with her hair, twisting and turning it around in the air, then released it to flop back against her backside and over her shoulders. Marceline reached upward and brushed the hair out of her face, taking another look at her new surroundings before glancing back at Mejai. The look of the grassy area intrigued her, a testing area that didn't exactly look like a testing area in her mind. Of course, Marcy had never been in such confines before and could only make estranged guesses at what a laboratory looked like. Because of her magic, she couldn't really read up on what those kind of things were; in fact, she never touched a book in her life.

Despite her magic wanting to overwhelm the place, Marcy found that not even a single blade of grass had been killed. She didn't know the answer behind this situation, but she had a feeling it had something to do with Mejai's workings. Again, Marceline found herself looking around at the environment, and how beautiful it actually looked to her. Reaching down, the woman touched the blades of grass and found that not even her Midas' Touch killed them off. This excited her. She could touch things without accidentally killing them off and she smiled at the thought of it. Instead of following the magus any farther into the laboratory, the woman sat down in the fluffy grass and played with it. Having not been able to play outdoors in centuries, the woman found herself engulfed in childhood memories before she died.

An overwhelming sensation of happiness enveloped her and she found herself fighting back tears she hadn't shed in centuries. The last time she had ever truly cried? The day that her life had been taken from her and her inability to ever see her family again. Mejai spoke though and she looked up from where she sat, staring at the magus with curious, fiery dots in her eyes. Slowly, the woman dusted herself off and stood back to her feet, looking to Dubhlainn for a second as the mage spoke. Her eyes darted toward Sanson and she wondered what it was that he was planning on using against her. For a moment, fear sparked through her body, but it was a feeling she didn't understand enough to recognize. Marceline looked to Dubhlainn again, waiting to see what he would do with how Mejai was acting toward her.

"H-huh? Why does he have to stand next to me? What are you going to do to me?" Marceline ordered from the magus She did not want anything to be doe to her that would result in injuries and the way he said it, made her fear. "You keep your dirty paws away from me! Or so God help me, I'll make sure your bones are the last thing you see."
