Personality: Outside of battle Aether is a quiet person, preferring to be by himself or with someone that he trusts dearly. Preferring to remain alone has also lead to him being unable to put his trust in others easily, resulting in him becoming introverted in nature. However if he feels like he can relate to someone he'll open up to them more than he would a random stranger. Preferring not to fight without a reason (eg: kill or be killed, etc) he remains at a distance from commotion in order not to be dragged into the action. He can also be very blunt when explaining a situation. According to the very few people that he trusts.
Aether is a loud person on the inside, choosing to remain quiet and emotionless with those he distrusts or doesn't know, but when he's in the company of someone he trusts he can be quite open and loud. He prefers the company of animals and mystical creatures to those of his own kind. Aether has a strong sense of moral justice, a trait he obtained from stories about heroes and monsters that he used to read, as well as the way his parents raised him. These stories are what gave him the ideals that she wished to live by and uphold throughout his life, and are the reason for his love for books.

In a battle his nature changes completely. Obedient when taking orders and confident when giving them, forming battle plans, strategies and tactics on a near instant then informing others and the commander of the situation. When in a one on one battle he tends to be cautious, being fairly passive till he’s gained enough knowledge of his opponent, then he strikes. Always preferring to be passive in battles till he’s gotten most of the opponent’s movements down and usually always striking physically, using his magic only when he can depend on it. Usually maintaining his calm personality within fights, always watching and thinking of ways to counter moves that he’s seen.
When he takes command of a small group or an army he seems to have a certain knack for enhancing their moral, causing them to fight harder and listen to whatever he has to say intently. His knack for leadership seems to always get him to be in charge of a small squad. When he becomes emotionally connected to someone he would do almost anything to protect them, going to extended lengths to make sure they’re safe. If someone were to threaten the life those he’d become connected to, Aether’s personality completely changes from quiet to loud very quickly, seeking out those who have claimed they are going to harm the person, even going to lengths of attempting to murder the person who made the claim but rarely in a direct fashion, when he does he tends to go all out against them, those who have seen this side of him and survived say that he looked like a psychopathic monster on a rampage, almost nothing could stop him.
