Since birth Sasamiya Strauss was always different than the other kids. She wasn't the shy, a-social one out of the cliche stories though. In fact, she was the most talkative and energetic person around. She was different because she wasn't playing hide and seek or tag like the other kids. While they were running around, enjoying themselves, Saya was busy putting people against each other and make them hate one another just because of her lies. Why did she do it? Because she's a horrible person that just loves seeing the world burn down!
To this day, Saya is exactly the same as when she was a kid. She got much better at it though, and her goal changed. She no longer cares about people hating each other, she wants them to stab each other in the back. Causing married couples to divorce is child's play, and so is causing best friends to perhaps punch each other in the face. What Saya wants to do is make people so paranoid, that they'll think that there's no other choice than to grab a weapon and to end their friend's, husband's, neighbour's or even son's or daughter's life.
Her motive? Revenge. Saya is completely filled with the desire to get revenge on those who tortured, and eventually killed her parents for stupid information about the location of a treasure chest. The only problem is that she doesn't exactly know who did it. She only knew that those who committed that horrible crime were incapable of using magic, which is why she holds a big grudge against those who do not use magic, and kills them whenever she gets the chance.
Apart from being really sadistic and having a messed up mind, Saya is also a big liar and a sarcast, who's heart is made of stone.
Despite being a horrible person, Saya does own a few good traits. If she happens to like and trust someone, she will treat them as family, and do anything to protect them, which includes killing people in the most horrible ways known to mankind. Though she is a big sadist, she won't like seeing her real friends get hurt, and won't forgive those who bring harm to them. They'll get a lovely spot on her list of people she has to kill. It takes ages for Saya to trust someone that much though. The chance of even finding someone who will tolerate her bad attitude is also very rare. She doesn't care that much though, as real friends usually are a burden. On the other hand, Saya tries to make a lot of fake friends so she has people to call for and sacrifice when in a sticky situation.
In battle, Saya is a very, very, very scary person that will send shivers through your spine on the battle field. She can murder someone with a smile on her face, no matter how well she knows that person. Saya doesn't like killing kids or elderly though, so usually will just ignore them unless they attack her.
Despite being rather good at fighting, Saya prefers to let other people do the work for her, so that there won't be any blood on her hands.
When in a real battle, against someone who can actually resist, Saya almost always tries to find her opponent's weak spots, so she can abuse them to easily win the battle. Knowing how valuable one's position is in a battle, She always tries to position herself in the best possible way. If she can't, she'll simply take the battle to a place where she has the upper hand. Easy as pie.
Saya isn't very good at following orders, and will usually not listen unless she's sure that the person giving those orders is worthy of her assistance. If she's forced into doing something, she'll mess it up "Accidentally" and hope that it won't cost her her head. She'd rather die than to follow orders of some idiot though.
Saya has always managed to cover up her crimes, as she usually makes sure that all the witnesses or possible clues that lead to her disappear. She also dyes her eyes and changes her clothes completely after every crime she commits, to prevent people from finding her without magic. She also uses fake names quite often just to be safe.
