And noticed that my Guild has been booming with membership, where as others have suffered. Now---CHALK some of this up to personal treatment, every Guild is it's own family and is responsible for itself, and we treat each other damn well in Fairy Tail. But regardless of personal happenings within each Guild, I feel like I've uncovered a great way to increase a spread in membership.
It's springtime, and we'll be experiencing even more members soon. So without further adeu, Guild Crest enchantments. Mind you, these are just personal ones I came up with for everyone. The REAL ones will be created by the Guildmasters themselves (with input from members of that current Guild).
If people think this is a good idea, it could just be a new Stickied Topic in Guild Information like the others. This would draw new members in multiple directions. We could even put it at the top of the scrollbar of the site like "New Release: Guild Crest Perks" and then explain about receiving tattoos yadaa yadaa.

- Mock Guild Crest Perk Abilities:
Savage Skull - You receive 50% less damage from Darkness Spells and their duration is halved on you. Can shadowmeld outside of combat, turning into pure darkness and moving around at no mana cost. This doesn't work if someone is trying to fight you, as the Guild Crest itself seems to refuse to let you be a coward and takes away your ability to shadowmeld the second a situation gets confrontational.
Fairy Tail - You gain 5% mana every time you land a string of melee combos on someone, whether with your fists, or with a weapon within a post without casting a Spell that post, this applies to guns as well, like landing a series of shots on someone or pummeling someone with your bare hands or a weapon with no magic would make you smirk; as the thrill of battle seems to charge your spirit in a way that cannot be explained as a Fairy Tail wizard. You can naturally understand all magical creatures, from a flying Dragon, to a walking beetle man, even a non magical beast like a dog on the street could talk to you once it sees that Guild Crest. If a being doesn't communicate with speech, you will be able to communicate with it psychically like a hivemind. The ancient Guild of Fairy Tail has assisted many magical creatures races over the millennia of it's existence, and as such is enchanted with the knowledge of the myriad races of Earthland. When outnumbered, you get fired up and instantly gain 20% extra MP for the fight to come.
Basilisk Fang - Instead of doing damage over time, Poison Spells regenerate your MP over time when you're hit or affected by one. Does not heal HP however. However, you are immune to damage from poisons anyway. Can command non-magical serpents. Can speak Parselmouth to snakes Harry Potter style. Your eyes will become serpent like in pitch blackness, and you will be able to see with amazing heat vision that almost makes you welcome the dark it's so useful.
Sabertooth - When a Sabertooth wizard picks up a weapon, it increases in Rank. From Weak to Strong or from Strong to Legendary or from Legendary to Artifact, skipping the + stage. In it's damage only. A brittle piece of crap is still a brittle piece of crap weapon, but when used by a skilled Sabertooth wizard, it will hit where it hurts. The extra damage comes from the skill of the wielder, not the weapon itself. But only one rank. Cannot increase an Artifact to Mythic. Sabertooth trains it's knights and swordsmen to the brink, and their use of weapons is nearly second to none amongst the Guilds. With legendary Swordsmen like Aegis Bright, Zenshin, and Hikari enshrined in their halls, this is to be expected. All feline type opponents, or feline type animals will take double damage from your Magic, Nekos included.
Lamia Scale - Can swim at 100MPH, and breath underwater. Enchanted with the power of the sea, Water Magic also deals 50% less damage to you, even when it's scolding hot or ice cold. At sea, your spells cost 50% less mana. You get 2x the jewels from a Job if it is a Job at Sea. You also get 2x the jewels from a Job if it was a journey into a cave or underground.
Infinity Hydra - You can regrow a limb 3 times, each if severed or cut off. Even your own head. Someone could chop of your arm three times, and it would grow back no problem. Each limb has 3 lives. Head included. The Guild Crest itself is enchanted with magic so mighty, that a wizard of Infinity Hydra can seem impossible to defeat at times. Getting all five limbs chopped off at once or being cut to shreds--however will result in the magic going into overdrive and regrowing all limbs at once, which can only be done once per thread.
Blue Pegasus - All members of Blue Pegasus can call on an actual Pegasus, that appears from the Heavens themselves and will fly into a raging inferno if need be to help the actual member. The Pegasus has the HP of a Mythic Ranked Combat Pet, and can fly at 400MPH, although it doesn't attack at all. The crest is infused by ancient magicks by the will of Shuhei, the White Dragon Slayer, and legendary wizard and master of light magicks. All Blue Pegasus wizards take 50% less damage from Light Magic, and can see through Illusion Spells and Magic after 1 post of looking at them.
Black Rose - If you have information on a target beforehand, you will deal double the damage to that target for the first 3 posts you engage it. With both melee and magical spells. You receive double the jewels for doing jobs classed as 'Neutral'. You were trained by Black Rose in the use of technology, even advanced alien types. You can fly nearly anything, and understand most technology just by being a member of the Guild.
Grim Heresy - You can reanimate any Enemy you kill on a Job or Social, at no mana cost. This lasts until the end of the thread. Trained in the arts of Necromancy by Lady Eris herself, one of the most powerful witches to ever exist; this is as nothing to a member of the Grim Heresy Guild of dark wizards and witches. Fire Spells deal 50% less damage to you, and enchantments based around fire or burns have their durations halved against you.
Sleeping Forest - If fighting in the forest or the woods, your spells cost half their MP %. If you are fighting in another realm, or plane of existence, your attacks both melee and magical will deal double damage, the duration of you being forced into another dimension or plane of existence is also halved, as Sleeping Forest wizards have a powerful connection to the spirit realm after riding their giant turtle spirit of a Guild Hall; Genbu for so long.
Tartarus - Allows you to communicate with all types of Demons and Monstrous Beasts, and have them understand you as well. Allows you to tell someone three lies, and have them believe you absolutely within a thread. You can naturally control Demons once their HP is reduced to 50% or below, as the crest of Tartarus itself is enchanted with demonic energies lost to the ages. When a Demon PC is present in a thread, you seem to feel more mana within yourself than usual, as your spells cost 50% less no matter their Rank. Does not apply to you if you are a Demon, only if another Demon is present in the thread with you.
Laughing Coffin - You recieve double jewels from any Job you finish with another Guildmate of yours. You receive triple jewels for soloing a Job that is B-Ranked or higher. When you make a decision to side with Good or Evil in a thread, you receive 20% bonus MP. As you believe in your own decisions and live freely as a Laughing Coffin wizard, knowing that in the end money is what's important.
Pharoah's Call - Allows you to fully heal, or revive someone from death once within a thread as long as they are someone you have deemed to be worthy and a good person deep down. Will not work on people who are secretly evil. Allows you to run on difficult surfaces like sand or rocks, or mountains skillfully. You take 50% less damage from Earth Spells or Sand Spells. You can leap off of extreme heights, even a mountain and take no damage when you fall. Mysteriously, your bones will not break or scrape. This does not apply to being knocked into, off of, or through something. Only when traveling or dodging.
Guildless - Your freeflowing attitude and spirit attracts Mana to you even when you sleep. You have 150% MP naturally as opposed to the usual max 100%.
