Minh, the man with a bird on his head

Special Characteristics: Sometimes his pet bird likes to perch on his head...that is all, nothing more or less. Doesn't have wings or anything either, just a bird sitting upon his head.

Personality: Minh is a rather free-spirited fellow who tends to spend his time in the rural countryside, enjoying the fresh air and nature. While meeting strangers in his path wherever he goes, the young man greets them with a friendly smile and will attempt to spark up a conversation with the person or persons. This very strange, outgoing demeanor is further seen in his selfless acts when it comes to helping people, even to such a degree where his helping leaves others dumbfounded as their minds are left blank on who had done so. As expected, Minh is one who needs very little help from others, nor does he require any favors repaid back afterwards. With this said, he also has a reclusive nature to himself at times as well, taking a liking to some isolation for peace and quiet as well and takes to living along as well save for a pet bird which follows him around ever since he saved it from a death at the hand of scavenging wolves when it had injured its wing. However, this peaceful soul has a darker side as well due to his adamant following of doing what he sees as the right thing. While others have a righteous sense of justice, Minh's is more gritty to say the least, especially towards individuals whose very purpose in life is to cause calamity and suffering for others. For criminals who have a sliver of a chance of becoming something better, the man will beat them towards taking that path, but for those who have not a chance or rather choose not to, there will be no hesitation for ending their lives should the choice be presented before him. Moving to the lesser matters, he will break rules and laws in order to right a wrong either done to him or another and will for example stand by a person falsely accused of a crime until said crime is pardoned which also tends to hint as to why he enjoys the freedom of the countryside. A final tidbit as well as an important one would be his rage which is actually very hard to bring out of him because of his great control over it, and what is the tidbit here is how his rage works with him. Whilst others enter into a blind, rushed fury, Minh's rage somehow makes him even more deadly than when he is in control as it pushes his body and mind to its limits and beyond, helping him channel his rage at whatever has caused it. One could say that Minh has yet to feel such wrath even now at the age of 19.

In combat, Minh is most likely taking up a fighting role in the front-lines, where he could meet the dangers head-on before they face his allies, and his style of combat revolves around fast, furious strikes while employing defensive counterattacks. In a sense, Minh seeks to unleash a brutal assault upon his foes to force them to engage him out of necessity so that he may begin using his counterattacks to further impend their attentions to the comrades behind him. With his Earth Magic, he can further do this by hindering foes and empowering his assaults even further for more effectiveness. As a leader, his role on the battlefield would not change too much except for the fact that he is now in command. He would have a majority of the bulkier fighters up in front alongside the more agile ones while keeping a few in the back with the more ranged based mages to provide back up in case of a flanking maneuver. Minh would also strive to inspire his allies to fight on even more. The young man does not have a problem fighting under another's command as long as that person strives for the most effective victory and not lead his men into a pyrrhic victory. Not only that but he would also have a very hard time trusting another who holds his life in their hands.


Likes:Cute things - Minh has a fondness for anything adorable, finding himself petting or cuddling it, but at the same time, he wishes to keep his composure and restrains himself form doing so...though he gradually will fail to do so.

Knowledge - Though he may have the appearance of a fighter, he is more of a scholar in nature whether it be to learn better combat or to pick up a book on various subjects from history, magic, etc.

Sweets - He may not admit it, but the boy has quite the sweet tooth when it comes to indulging in treats from the bakery and the like.

Pet Bird - Besides its cute appearance, this loyal creature is quite a smart bird and has even done a few tasks for Minh without him ever noticing at times. Its gratitude for him is limitless, but the real curiosity here is whether this is a normal, smart bird or something entirely different due to how it behaves at times.

Helping - He likes to help.

Dislikes: Hatred - While his darker side of mind seems like it, it actually bares no hatred and neither does Minh himself. He believes in that if one continues to hold much hatred of something, one shall become that very thing in due time.

Inability to help - This is a no-brainer, but the feeling itself is something that Minh hates very dearly.

Insulting his bird - Why would anyone do this, who knows..just don't.

Motivations: Personal Improvement - Whether knowledge, strength, or power, Minh will do what he can to improve himself and pass his previous limitations to go beyond. He also pursues this because he doesn't want to find himself helpless one day against a foe.

Betterment of Others - Not only does he seek to better himself, he also wishes the same for others around him, wanting them to become something more.

Bird - Well, it does serve as a constant remainder of lives that he can save...I think that counts.

Fears: Inability - This links to his general worry of being unable to do anything in a time of great need.

Corruption - He greatly fears losing his way of life and treading onto a dark path of corruption.

Bird - You'd think he would have fears of anything harming it or making it disappear.
