"Good afternoon, ma'am. Would you like some help getting to the front of the line? I have to get up there myself, so it wouldn't be any trouble."

The day was so much longer than Hero had anticipated with these passport hand-outs. With the towering man in the area though, all the people there remained at relative peace while waiting in their respective lines. Hero in particular was in the elderly persons line, preparing to assist an elder lady through the line. At the rate the line was going, it was going to close before the woman and he could get there. However, the man had a plan that only needed the lady's approval to get under way. He had a feeling though that it wasn't going to take much effort to get the lady to accept the help.

"I don't really have much of a choice if I wanna get home before dark. What're you gonna do?"

I nodded and then spoke quietly into the lady's ear, "Just follow my lead, ma'am."

In hindsight, he did not realize just how long the line was until he had gotten the OK from the old lady. It was a daunting task, to wade through a river of elderly men and women but for both his and the lady's sake, Hero had to come up with a plan quickly. Hero had a leg up on this since the elderly were slower on their feet which meant moving up would be easy so long as there was viable reasoning for it. He thought for a couple of moments and then realized something. If he were to take charge of this line himself, he could make this go a lot faster.

"Leave it to me," he said to his temporary partner in line. After saying that, Yamamoto moved quickly to the front of the line and spoke with the representative, asking if he could take half the elderly line and make the workload easier. In exchange, he wanted to get a passport after helping out. In the man's mind, this was the most feasible option to complete the task at hand without causing problems and it seemed to have worked in his favor since the representative gave the OK. It likely helped that he was a member of the Rune Knights. Receiving the approval, the man walked back to the lady and escorted her to the front, directly next to the elderly persons line and spoke loudly so that they could all hear.

"Any elderly male or female needing to leave within the next thirty minutes, come to this line immediately and I will hand out the passports! All that is required is an ID, proof of affiliation, and your patience!"

A line began forming behind Hero's temporary partner and he started by giving her a passport with a smile on his face.

"Now you can be back home before dark. Have a nice evening, ma'am."

The woman nodded toward him with a full smile on her face and then walked away with her new passport. In earnest, the man began quickly analyzing the documents of each person who came up to him and handing them passports, which were provided by the representative he spoke briefly to earlier. Yamamoto proved to be far more efficient than the young representative who spent extra time carefully analyzing the documents. Yamamoto felt that, since they were all elderly people, it wasn't necessary to do full reads on their documents. In the end, Hero managed to clear his entire line before the representative and asked if they wanted more assistance before he got his own passport and left. The representative had a look of relief on their face, knowing that he had cleared up more than half the work already within thirty minutes; the representative calmly declined the offer and explained that if she let him do any more of the work, they would be left with no reason to work there the rest of the day. Hero nodded respectfully and walked off with his new passport in hand. It was a good day to be of assistance, he thought to himself. He walked away from the area quietly and prepared to return to his quarters for the evening, since today was his day off.
