Her reaction was not quite what he had expected at all. She seemed more confused than happy, and her question confirmed that theory right there. Valentines day, he was pretty sure it was a universal holiday, the Guild Hall itself was designed so that every member knew of it. It seemed Iza was ignorant of it, understandable since there was the off chance that she was not raised to celebrate a holiday designed for romance. Her ignorance looked like innocence to him though, so he just chuckled a little bit when she had asked the question she did. What added onto it was how she casually got out of his grip. She normally would force him off of her if she did not understand what was going on. On top of that, she accepted the box of chocolates by holding it! Or so he thought she accepted it, she just took the box out of his hands at least. Come on now, you know what day it is! He'd answer back to her first statement. It was foreign to her, not that he was quite one-hundred percent sure about that. His hands would rest casually in his pockets as he would then tilt his head to the side, now instead of a smile, an innocent-looking grin would be on his face. This was due to him being anxious about her reaction, in a positive way however. He could not wait to see her open the box with mystery chocolates in there. Even he did not know which flavors were in there, but he did know that they were from his favorite company of chocolates, which shows their value.
And so the second statement would arrive, leaving him open his eyes and move his mouth. His lips took a small "o" sort of formation, then would return to a grin when he saw her facial expression. It was clear that there was some caution, but she brought that upon herself with the constant pranks that she plays on people. Sure, he might have tried to catch her once or twice, not that she did not deserve them. Picking his right hand into the box, he would crane his wrist downwards into the box before pinching his fingers around a rectangle shaped chocolate. Flicking his palm upwards, he would pull it back, but not without grabbing a second one for Iza. Clenching his palm to hide both of the chocolates in his palm, he would pull his hand back before sliding the circular of the two chocolates between his fingers. And without hesitation, he would bit into it, his eyes closing out of instinct when meeting his tongue with the chocolate. This one was caramel, his second-favorite one. That one is one of my favorites. Seriously, you should try one. He would explain before he would then look at the box of chocolates in her hands, and so he would attempt to gently take it from her with his available hand that still held the chocolate for her.
Provided this be successful, he would then tell her to do something. Close your eyes. And no peeking. He would tell her, the rectangular piece of chocolate inside his right palm. Until she did that, he would not continue on. Provided she actually did do it, he would then place the chocolate over her lips, not knowing that she would be able to smell it from that distance. Open your mouth. He'd then tell her. If done so at that point, he'd gently toss the chocolate into her mouth, smiling as he stepped back, waiting for her reaction.
