IT HAS BEGUN! [Private, Dmitry/Evia]

Job Description:

The city of Rose Garden.

A place filled with all kinds of magic, from the street lights to the restaurants. Consequently, mages typically were quite fond of the city, regularly visiting to admire the magic technology regularly in use or dine on cuisine created using the very thing that provides their livelihood. However, exiting the train station was a certain gray haired mage that personally thought there was simply too much noise here and not enough space.

Dmitry Kazakov sighed as he moved into town, eager to be done with this job and this city. Thankfully, the task ahead of him was rather simple and like not time consuming, allowing him to get back to Hargeon soon. More importantly, the request that brought him here seemed highly unlikely to result in the medium hitting the ground...again. After a short walk, diligently guided by the directions listed on the request, he and his partner arrived at the establishment requesting the aid of Lamia Scale.

"C'mon, let's get done and get home."

The pinkette didn't even have any clue as to what she was getting herself into. She hadn't read the job through thoroughly and simply agreed to go on the mission because what could it hurt. She followed closely behind her partner, the grey haired mage that had taken her into the guild and she had taken into her house. She knew the place where she was going and that they were going to be tasting stuff and that is about as far as the girl got on reading the job instructions.

She was still in her head as the two walked off the train at Rose Town. It was a quiet day there were not very many people that were around. She scanned the buildings and noticed that if she got lost or even separated from the man whom she was following she would be distinctly lost and... no one would want that now would they. With this realization the girl moved closer to the man in front of her and snagged the hem of his shirt in hopes of not letting him notice and not letting him out of her site.

She was not planning on getting lost today. Nu-huh.

Dmitry hadn't noticed the girl beside him tugging on his clothes as he walked through the entrance of the restaurant, the coat he wore being rather heavy. They were soon greeted by the owner of the establishment who had hired them in the first place before being guided to a table with six glasses on it. "The first two are your typical, high dollar aged wine." He said as the two mages sat down. "The second set of glasses contains our previous batch, aged five years. The third is our latest experiment, only a few months old. I'd like you to try each of them and give me your comparisons."

Dmitry sat down and picked up the first glass, taking a whiff of it before sipping at it with uncharacteristic delicacy. Despite his years in the wild, his former employer, Veronica Banfield, often insisted on him drinking with her, despite the fact that he was only fifteen at the time.

Her pink hair flowed behind her in that of a wave and the girl moved to sit across from her grey haired partner and she looked up at the woman who had approached their table. The entire place was empty 'cept for the three of them ans Evia looked back down at the table. She didn't know what they were doing still until the woman began to speak and talked about the red drink that she had placed in front of her. It looked like blood, the liquid only a little bit thicker that the stuff that had been placed in the glass in front of her. Her eyes flashed dangerous and the girl looked away from the drink and up at her partner who was reaching for the drinks and sipping them once by one.

The half angel followed suit and reached for the red liquid in front of her and placed it against her lips before taking a sip and her eyes went wide before she yanked the glass away from her lips and her face scrunched up at the taste. She had never had anything so repulsive to drink before.

Upon trying each glass two or three times each, Dmitry turned to the restaurant owner and gave him his opinion.

"Despite the lack of aging, your late product has a rather full bodied taste, without to potent of a fragrance." He went on to use a number of terms that sounded awfully strange coming out of his mouth, leaving the owner in awe of his knowledge of alcoholic beverages. Afterwards, they were given there reward along with the assurance that they would get everything on the menu for free the next time they visited.
