Perhaps being Independent was not just a thing of the past... perhaps we still are neutral, at heart? Maybe influence is good, and the Magic Council does not appear to be doing much...Perhaps having a mind that refuses to conform will win in the end? The shift from neutral alignment to being legal is not something to make light of. We are Bounty Hunters, and always will be, but profit is no longer what is primarily desired... ambition has been fueled and is a small fire being stoked. "Influence" is key, but not by the standard and potentially aggressive means one might expect. To plant our rose seeds passively, and slowly gain influence and control over the other nations, the magic council, and more- that does not seem too far-fetched, does it? Maybe it does. But that is why our main goal remains much more clearer than that. We were Independent, and used to laugh at the 'cats' of the Magic Council, yet now we have a leash around our necks too. However, maybe that is something we can do- focus the power to the guilds, and place less emphasis on the Magic Council... yes, that is not such a bad idea, now is it? Care to venture further into the darkest of the legal guilds?
