Isaac's Secondary Magic Training [Private]

Under that note, Shinta had slowly came to a stop with his talons gently clawing the soil below his paws. The air was a sharp, cool scent, embracing the lungs of the two beings. Isaac had readied himself to dismount, and had done as planned. He flipped his legs over the quilt (Which, substituted for a saddle), and gently pushed himself down to the ground. It was one thing to ride a beast who had been on it, and it was another thing to walk on it yourself. It was almost gritty, but perhaps he was overthinking the texture and conditions of this terrain's features. In his mind, interpreting the terrain would effect his training.

But with the gentle blink of the golden eye, Isaac sighed, "What a nice area. Perhaps we shall commence training accordingly in this field." He spoke to no one in general, but left the thought floating about. - And as expected, Shinta had decided to reply with the rough maw he had bared, "I would think as such. But let us begin before noon strikes." It had appeared that the large feline had already gotten comfortable, proceeding to become prone to the ground.

"Very well. Though, I reckon that this plane may not have a parallel system of time. Perhaps dusk has struck in Earthland." Isaac spoke as-matter-of-factly as he began to descend down the hill, over to to the open grassland below them.

Shinta, however, had redeemed to lose interest in the conversation at hand, resting his head on his crossed paws with glaring glances to Isaac. "Regardless, we can stay here for the remainder of your training. So worry not of the time, Sir Anicetus, and please proceed with your training. I shall remain idle over here until my duty is needed of fulfillment."

Now, one my ask what this training was for, in particular? - For another ReQuip, not surprisingly. For centuries, Isaac has had an aptitude for using pocket dimensions' weaponry in combat. Offensive, if you will, he had been excelling at. But what about his well being in the event of battle? The question had drifted in and out of his mind on various occasions, and cannot help but remain weary in combat of his own defense. He was getting stronger, both mind, body, and spirit, and his magical offense continues to increase, but it has been redeemed that his defense and vulnerability has been steadily increasing with such offense as well. Plenty of times he has thought of this, and never again shall he.

Today was a day that he attempts to unlock a ReQuip, indeed, but a specific aptitude is what he aims for. Yes, an Armor ReQuip. Barriers, shields, or perhaps suits in stead of those possibilities. For magic has endless possibilities, but Isaac was specifically training to gain access to yet another pocket dimension of defensive purpose.

Regardless, Isaac had cleansed his mind of the anxiety and the doubt that he may fail to succeed, or perhaps never unlock a defensive magic, but he had faith in his capabilities.

He had succumbed to silence, and felt the energy pump through his veins. It was a powerful feeling, and he felt the energy build up within his gut. No, not his gut, his entire essence. His being. He felt the magical energy suffocate him slowly, it was almost and itching feeling. But is was so nostalgic, but uncomfortable. "...Grnh!" He grunted, an azure aura beginning to form around the masculine male, the magical surge of power becoming increasingly difficult to maintain and regulate, mind bound to cluster with stress and frustration.

The specks of dirt and soil had shivered to the gentle tremble of his magical energy pulsing beyond a internal level, his eyes glued shut, and veins beginning to show through his thick flesh. His eyelids glued down, resisting the urges to release themselves from the strain of the procedure. But Isaac did not yield to such urge, and proceed with the charging. But never has he felt such energy course through his veins, it was a foreign feeling that he found no comfort in. But perhaps, he thought that this was the first step to unlocking yet another pocket dimension.

Would such a force answer his call? His plea for assistance in combat? Patience became foe of the feeling of being desperate, but which would yield to the other? It was a question he was dying to ask, but it would only breed doubt and uncertainty. He was not ready to face such a stressful confrontation. - But soon, the magical energy was break into it's prime state, intimidating power that even drove him to awe.

The grass had began to swift outwards, away from the azure aura which would slowly begin to consume him. He feared that perhaps this would backfire on him, but this time was not appropriate for doubt.

But, the the discomfort faded. And silence reached it's peak. "...?" Isaac sighed questionably, slowly opening his eyes only to find his body engulfed in a thin, blue aura. It was as if he was... radiant. He felt the power surge through him, and could already taste the possibilities awake before him.

Isaac smirked and nodded, "What a turn of events, perhaps I can commence proper training now." He mumbled to himself, continuing to examine himself in awe. "So this is magic in a prime state, yes? Fascinating. I suppose I can try to unlock another pocket dimension..."
