Mission: Strange Vulcans Part 1 (Kyo Hagane and Nightken Blackwing)

Kyo sat around the edge of Spooky Forest on a mission for his guild. A partner was mandatory for this mission making him sigh deeply. The brunette looked at the picture of his partner. It was another person from the guild, Fairy Tail. He wasn't sure why he had to do the mission with someone. He was pretty sure that it was just a extermination mission, get rid of some Vulcans and go home. It seemed pretty easy to him, but he wasn't complaining about back up as long as no one got in his way. The brunette studying the face picture of he had black hair, green eyes, and looked tan. This made Kyo sigh to himself and place the picture in his pocket. "Why do they all look like commoners? Why can't I just get someone that's a noble?" He said to himself. The green eyed male ran a hand through his honey brown hair while pacing. He kept wondering what was taking the other so long. After a few minutes of walking back and forth, Kyo sat down on the ground glaring at the sky. What is taking that man so long? I hate waiting on people, but he's just..... Argh! He thought making his glare more intense. At times like these, he was glad that his magic didn't control the weather like his mother and eldest brother.

Nightken came up on the Spooky Forest while riding his magic motorcycle to the edge of the forest to meet with the person he's partnered up with for this job. Seeing a person pacing back and forth pulling up next to him Nightken introduced himself. "Hi I'm Nightken. I take it your the person from Lamia Scale?" Parking his motorcycle next to a tree he used his cursed seal lineage and pulled his sword out of the dimensional vortex. The hilt is a rectangle shape with a X in the center, branching to the corners. The wrapping around the hilt is black while having a average hilt color. "Sorry about the wait it took a bit longer than expected. I take it you got the info that we need to beat some Vulcans?" Nightken asked as he attached the sheathe of his sword to his belt. "Well guess we might as well start looking for these Vulcans before they cause any damage to the nearby towns." He said while walking into the forest. The forest was creepily quiet, not a single bird or animal could be heard. "This isn't good the animals aren't making a noise. They must be scared of the Vulcans. Never have been a big fan of Vulcans." Nightken said as they started to walk through the forest.

Kyo followed his partner into the forest after nodding his response. The brunette kept his eyes peeled for any signs of danger. After thirty minutes of finding nothing, Kyo sat against a tree frowning deeply. "I think those commoners were lying." He said sighing deeply. He really didn't care for the safety of people he didn't know. Kyo just wanted to use the money to by this green rabbit plushy he had found last week. Not really paying attention to his partner, Kyo searched through his pocket emptying them. Throwing an object into the bush, the holy user hit something that growl in response before making itself known.

The Vulcan growled at Kyo and stalked forward. The green eyed male grinned then looked over at Nightken. "Some action." He said jabbing his thumb in the direction of the creature. Understanding what Kyo was talking about, the Vulcan charged at the holy mage relentlessly. Kyo raised an eyebrow before sticking his hands into his pockets and jumping to the right dodging the attack easily. This made the creature angry and it swung its large fist at him. Kyo jumped into the air then landed on the Vulcan's out stretched arm. The brunette jumped over the beast landing next to his partner. "You want to take care of this?" He asked the man next to him with his back to the beast.

"You want to take care of this?" As his partner asked Nightken used his lightning body to quickly get behind the Vulcan. He unsheathed his sword and put it in the ground below the Vulcan and used discharge from the sword to blow up the ground underneath it. "Discharge" The blast sent the Vulcan flying a good three feet in the air. When it crashed on the ground Nightken put his sword on the Vulcan shocking it until it fell unconscious from the electricity from the sword. After electrocuting the Vulcan into unconsciousness he sheathed the sword and continued to walk into the forest.

"These Vulcans are quite annoying. One down nine more to go." Nightken said while charging energy up. They made it to a small clearing but wasn't surprised about seeing a couple of Vulcans there. "This makes it a bit easier on getting all nine of them." He said while unsheathing his sword. It had blue glow to it since the blade was coated blue electricity. Launching three lightning shock-waves at the one on the right. "Here's some more action for you. Show them what you got so we can hurry this job up." Nightken said to his partner as he prepared for the attacks to come.
