Name: Wayden R’Sader
Gender: Male
Age: 23
Birthday: July 2nd
Sexuality: Bisexual
Special Characteristics: Wayden is a Sergal, an imaginary species from the Vilous comics. Tall, furred, and menacing looking. He has tribal tattoos on his chest, a darker grey than the fur there.
Personality: Most sergals are immediately born with a genetic disposition towards warring and anger. Once in a blue moon, a much more tame sergal is born, leaning more towards negotiations over wars; friendly discussion over fist-fights. Wayden falls into the latter category, and while he still possesses the urge to fight and make formidable enemies, the male has the willpower to resist such urges. As such, Wayden is kind, if not overbearing. The sergal tends to overcare, if that is such a thing, always constantly tending to his allies or friends. When Wayden is alone, he spends a lot of time letting loose. He buys throw pillows, just to tear up in his free time. Imagine it as a form of release, to get rid of all the pent up aggression that comes with being a member of the Sergal species. Outwardly friendly and inwardly war-like, Wayden always makes sure to hide his wild/aggressive nature from everyone, as it isn’t inherently good for a good guy’s image. Wayden is a natural born leader, as most sergals are, and respects all forms of authority. As a young boy, he was taught to look up to all those in positions of power, so that he may learn how to be a better leader from them. This trait leads to an inane idiosyncrasy of the sergal keeping his head bent down when he speaks with superiors. As a leader, he works primary in a laissez-faire policy, letting a group work completely cooperatively, instead of having superiors. Only in times of need will he take real charge, using his status of leader to regain control of the group. Wayden, unfortunately for a sergal, is soft-hearted and merciful. As much as he would like to tear the heads off his enemies, he would never be able to on account of his benign ways. This is what you would call a catch twenty-two, as he lives with the shame of never being able to be like his ancestors, but were he to destroy an enemy, he would live with the guilt of cruelty over conscience forever. So the sergal makes death as quick and painless as possible, finding a happy medium between bloodlust and gentility. While Wayden is very outgoing and receptive to conversation about others, he is usually closed off about himself. The sergal would rather talk about someone else’s problems and issues than his own, for fear of someone learning the true nature of himself. Only when he forms a close bond with someone, not even necessarily romantic, will he open himself up. It takes persistence to crack the shell of an unwilling sergal. Persistence and time, and maybe some fish. TL;DR: Wayden is an outwardly happy, energetic, and kind sergal. Inwardly he struggles with a conflict between doing what his instincts tell him, and what’s morally right. The sergal respects authority to the utmost degree and remains laid back as a leader himself, unless otherwise necessary. Wayden is closed off, but otherwise friendly and doesn’t seek enemies as his fathers before him, but rather friends, to bring a new age to his heritage.
Likes:
• Seafood: Wayden loves anything food-wise from the seas. Fish especially, as nothing is better than the slimy-wet crunch of a raw fish under powerful jaws.
• Conversationalist: Wayden loves talking with and about his friends. The more he knows, the better he can tend to their needs.
• Others Before Himself: Wayden would gladly take a hit for a friend. Though, he wouldn’t die for a friend; that would be dishonorable.
• Rain and Cloudy Days: Nothing beats sitting under a patio or porch and listening to the pitter patter or roar of a rainstorm, preferably with someone else.
Dislikes:
• Especially Sunny Days: No clouds in the sky? Hot as hell outside? No thanks, not for this guy.
• Inanely Sad People: Wayden dislikes people who always seem to be down in the dumps for no reason. It irks him because he always wants to see smiles on faces and happy people.
• Spicy Food: Sergal tongues are only supposed to burn after drinking the blood of enemies, not eating some hot sustenance!
• Beds: Yeah, beds. From an early age, a sergal is taught to make comfort anywhere they can, and adjust to your surroundings. Thus, Wayden sleeps in different places each night. Under a bar, on a table, bottom of the stairs, outside on the wall, in the grass, or anywhere that isn’t necessarily meant to be slept on. To have a designated sleeping area is strange to Wayden, although having a room to hold material possessions safely is just fine.
Motivations:
• Making His Ancestors Proud: Nothing motivates this sergal more than to make his fathers before him proud, whether it be in battle, or in social diplomacy.
• Wiping Away His Guilt: Wayden always dreams of the day when his internal conflict is resolved; the day he can give mercy to anything and anyone without feeling sick to his stomach.
• Protecting Himself Before Others: As said before, Wayden will take hits for his friends, but he will NEVER die for them.
• Money: If you pay the sergal, he’ll do just about anything legal, or at least.. neutral.
Fears:
• Disappointing His Ancestors: One of Wayden’s biggest fears is being a failure to his heritage; to fail on the battle field, or to be out casted by society and the one’s he calls friends.
• Dying For His Friends: Be it accidental or intended, if Wayden dies in sacrifice to save an ally, his ancestors will turn on him, and he will be stuck in purgatory for the rest of his afterlife.. or so the sergal believes anyway.
• Fire/Fire Mages: Perhaps it is some instinct from days long past, or perhaps it is just something that he picked up at a young age. Either way, the sergal fears fire and those who wield it, not in a phobic way, but enough to back away from a campfire to a safe distance.
General Appearance
Height: 6 feet, 8 inches tall.
Weight: 194 Lbs
Hair: Perhaps this is more akin to fur. Wayden’s fur has a straightforward two-tone color pattern like that of a shark or many mammals. The fur is longest behind the ears and back of neck, chest, wrists, and base of the tail.
Eyes: Bright Blue
Skin Tone: Very light grey underfur and darker grey main colors.
Appearance: Wayden is built like many sergals, strong and tall, though his height also adds a slim look to his figure. From far away, he looks like a tall, slender man. Up close however you can easily spot the powerful sergal form underneath his heavy fur and slim façade. Wayden owns a collection of gray-black camo pants, which he will most likely always wear. Most days the sergal will wear a big maroon t-shirt, with a thin black jacket to accent against the color. Wayden doesn’t bother with shoes, and will sometimes wear a crimson scarf, fettered and worn, but none the less nice looking. He has a long tail extending from his rump, with a fluffy plume at the end of it.
Guild/Council
Guild: Infinity Hydra
Tattoo: Located right under his tribal chest tattoos, just above the abdomen. It’s red, contrasting hard against the white-grey.
