Taking out the Trash (Mission)

Sol grumbled as he followed a trail up into the Phoenix Mountains, he had heard and taken a job involving some copycats that were taking credit and boasting they were from Basilisk fang which had the slayer rather pissed. He was a proud mage and for some thugs to smear the name of the guild into the ground made the emerald haired man want to torment these idiots before finally killing them. Sol knew that he didn’t have to worry to much even if they were mages since he had both Lohengrin on his person as well as his new weapon Enkidu and both weapons were more then powerful enough to cut them down if need be.

"Now to find where they are lurking, I guess I’ll find some high ground and wait for them to appear I think I remember them favoring this area if I heard right.” Sol mumbled as he hid behind some high rocks that concealed his presence cloaked him in shadow as they formed a very shallow cave not even big enough to fit three people, Sol yawned and knew the day was still young so he closed his eyes and allowed himself to rest a bit before his targets arrived, though he rested Sol kept his ears on alert just in case he heard people. The slayer was not going to allow himself to be caught off guard by a group of lowlifes who didn’t deserve to kick the ground that his mistress walked upon

After an hour or so Sol’s ears suddenly heard the sound of footsteps and the slayer opened his eyes and peered out to see the gang moving past the cave on the trail, they were talking trash and counting money that they had managed to steal from a caravan and were so focused that they didn’t see the pair of golden eyes that were watching them like a predator from the shadows of the shallow cave. After a few moments Sol emerged with a predatory grin on his face.”hmm they don’t look like much but beggers can’t be choosers I guess” he said with a slight chuckle. The slayer then proceeded to walked in the direction the gang had been going making sure to stay out of their line of sight and also making sure that he wasn’t heard by them as well.

After trailing them for about a half an hour Sol finally saw them stop and enter a cave with one of them stopping and hanging around the front as a guard. He didn’t look to bright and only had some knives on him as a weapon which made the slayer scoff . Sol decided to wait just a bit longer to make sure when he did strike the guard he would not alert the others as he wanted to take his time. After a few more moment the slayer sprung into action and he emerged from his hiding spot and started to approach taking it slow so he didn’t look like a threat.

As Sol approached the entrance to the gangs cave the guard Toby spotted him and spoke.”Hey you not supposed to be here now beat it or your gonna regret messing with us, we are powerful mages from Basilisk Fang” he said puffing out his chest and trying to act tough to scare the slayer off. Sol just snickered a bit.”ah that’s a good one but heres the truth I’m a real member of Basilisk Fang and your just a copy cat so lets fix that shall we” he suggested before he spoke only one word that would terrify the man to his core. “Enkidu” the Emerald haired man intoned before a small portal appeared beside the slayers head and a bladed tip emerged .

In the blink of an eye the blade shot out and was revealed to be on a great length of chain that went straight to Toby before Sol lightly tapped it and it suddenly turned and wrapped around the thugs neck before the slayer grabbed the chain and yanked on it hard causing the man to fly forward while choking on the thing encircling his neck. Sol quickly dragged the man to more secluded area before he grinned at him.”now time to have some fun before I wipe out the rest of your pathetic little group” the slayer said before he grabbed the other side of Enkidu and he ripped both hands away from Tobys head before causing the chain to rip the mans head clean off.”ah I forgot to not spill blood yet, oh well I can always hide the body and deal with the fall out later” the dark mage mumbled.

Sol quickly unsheathed Lohengrin before he deliver 5 slashes to the dead bandit and severed his Limbs before he started to chuck them in different directions making sure they went well out of sight of the cave and then he pushed the torso behind a large rock, as he finished the sayer caught a new scent approaching and he quickly ducked out of sight as a woman approached,”Toby where are you are you getting drunk again you know your gonna get your ass kicked for that… Toby?” she questioned before she spotted some blood close to Sols postion and she hesitantly went over to investigate it. Before once she got within striking distance Sol quickly knocked her in the back of the neck with the spine of Lohengrin to knock her out before he wrapped her hands and feet with enkidu.

After a few minutes the woman came around and relized she was chained and she was about to scream before Sol placed his beloved sword under her throat.”Scream and it’s the last thing you will ever do” he snapped at her before she glanced up and him and shivered at the fearsome look he had and then he grinned making her even more afraid.”What do you want?” she asked timidly making the slayers grin grow in size. “its simple really you idiots are using my guilds name for your petty crime and we don’t like it and its bringing some really annoying people around poking there noses in out business” he explained before she shook her head slightly.”Please spare me I won’t speak of your guild anymore” she begged before the demon quickly removed his blade near her neck and plunged it onto one of her legs.”nope lets try again and see if you can figure out the answer.” he taunted with sadistic glee.
