    Kanix Laspor's B-Rank Exam Empty Kanix Laspor's B-Rank Exam

Post by Mark Baxter 29th March 2016, 3:17 pm

Brennan leaned against the Great Tenrou Tree, his legs crossed as he waited for a Fairy Tail mage who went by the name of Kanix Laspor. Heero had instructed Brennan to give Kanix her exam, it was the first exam he had ever proctored, but as an Ace of Fairy Tail, it was Brennan's duty to, well, do anything Heero asked him to do. He'd chosen Tenjoujima to perform the exam because it was one of Fairy Tail's most prominent symbols, and it was also where the S-Rank exam is commonly held. Albeit, Kanix wasn't having her S-Rank exam yet, but if all went well, she would be having it soon.

He'd simply told Kanix to come to Tenroujima, and little did she know, the first part of her exam was finding Brennan in the massive island, it shouldn't be too hard, considering he was leaning against the massive tree in the center of the island, but still, Brennan would be paying close attention, depending on the condition she was in and the time it took for her to get her. The exam itself would be the same, but the degree of difficulty of the second part would differ depending on Kanix's skill level. Brennan was planning to have Kanix find three magical fire orbs hidden across Tenrou Island. If Kanix was in good condition and found him in less than an hour, she would have to find all three orbs, if she was in mediocre condition and took an hour or more to find him, she would only have to find two. If she was in bad condition and took more than two hours to find him, Brennan would only make her find one of the orbs.

Brennan had thought Kanix wouldn't have any struggle at all to find him, so he had hidden several... traps throughout the islands. There were giant pits, giant bats and giant worms. Brennan knew it would be trouble to get rid of them after the exam, but he would cross that bridge when he reached it.

Each post must be at least 300 words.
You must have at least 10 posts.
You must roll for monsters twice.

Weak Monster: You will find a hole. It is camouflaged, so unless you can detect it, you will fall in, falling for 10 seconds before reaching the bottom. You will be dealt B-Ranked damage if you cannot cushion your fall.

Normal Monster: Giant Worm x2: They can travel at 10 meters per second and can throw themselves onto you for C-Ranked damage. They can also shoot a spit bullet at you, which travels at 15 meters per second. It deals B-Rank damage.

Strong Monster: Giant Bat x2: They can fly at 20 meters per second, and can throw themselves onto you and shoot spit bullets, which work the same as the Giant Worm's version of these attacks. However, the spit bullet travels at 30 meters per second.

Boss Monster: Giant Bat x2 and Giant Worm x2: These work the same as the Normal and Strong monsters.

    Completion Conditions: Find Brennan!

Once you've completed part one, I'll write another post explaining Part 2.

    CALL OF THEWILD
    Kanix Laspor's B-Rank Exam Tumblr12
Today was the day she had to take her B rank exam, and Brennan, who she had met months ago, was the one proctoring it. It had been a very long time since she had last. . . well, not necessarily had seen him, but for the sake of understanding. . . seen him. Of course, the two had never once exchanged names before now, so it was, in no doubt, that Brennan didn't remember who she was. However, her memory was very keen and resourceful, his aura of magical power was something burned into her mind. So, it wouldn't be that difficult for her to be able to find the mage on the island. . . if it wasn't for the fact she didn't know how to get to the island. Tenroujima Island, a place far off the cost of Hargeon Town, owned by Fairy Tail, itself, was a place she had never been to. Why was this, you ask? Despite being a fairy, herself, there was little exploring and adventuring she had done as one. . .

Kanix sighed and gathered up her things from the table in the guild hall, tying the pouch and various other trinkets to her belt. She grabbed hold of her shaman's staff, then proceeded to exit the guild, with a mild expression of concern on her face. The moment she stepped outside, Ancalagon was there on the roof of the castle-like building, hopping down to reach his head out and bump her back. His hooked beak caught onto the waist of her skirt and tugged her a little, and she released herself to turn around and face him. "Ancalagon, please," the woman scolded her pet, who merely wanted a bit of her affection before she left. "I'm very busy today, there's no time for us to be playing around. Why don't you go find one of the children to play with? Better yet, go find Ahote, hm? I'm sure he would be delighted for you to take a ride on him and sight-see Fiore."

She reached upward with a hand, to pet the face of her Thunderbird, who helped her find him by placing his beak to her hand. As soon as their appendages touched, the woman had an idea spark in her head, and she pulled her hand back. "Ancalagon, do you know how to get to Tenroujima Island? I figured you would, since you've been around for centuries," she spoke. The bird only tilted its head as Kanix talked to him, red eye blinking, the feathers on his head fluffing up and down. It wasn't like she was going to get a response out of the bird, as the creature couldn't talk, but she still found herself conversing with him. In a way, it was rather comforting to talk to him, to vent and get all her emotions out, so him being there was just as nice. Sighing again, the woman patted the cheek of Ancalagon, before letting her hand trail along his neck and down to his side.

Her fingers wrapped around the strap of the saddle he wore and she tugged it, making sure he hadn't loosened it somehow. Noting the stiffness of it, the woman moved her hand to the horn of the saddle, gripped it, then pulled herself up onto it. The heels of her feet lightly tapped his sides, in which Ancalagon was quick to respond and took to the sky. Feeling the wind on her face, Kanix was able to tell that they were going at a rather fast speed, which was what she liked. Each breath she took in felt lighter and lighter, as if the air was thinning out, meaning Ancalagon was taking to a rather high height. She reached forward and patted the base of his neck quickly, calling out to him, though the words were lost in the wind. At this rate, it wouldn't take her long to get to the island and begin her search for her proctor. . . if he was even there, that is.

One thing she liked about riding upon Ancalagon was the freedom of the wind dancing through her hair and clothes. She could hear each feather of her pet responding to the air that glided through them, the heavy flapping that sounded like thunder. He was a magnificent bird to her, majestic in every way, and most of all, she loved to show him off when she could. An excited laugh escaped her luscious lips, resounding into the sky and getting lost in the wind and clouds. Her hands wove into his feathers and she lifted herself off the saddle, leaning toward the nape of Ancalagon's neck. At this motion, the bird tucked its wings in and let them start plummeting toward the ground, spiraling until they neared the waters. In the last second before they hit, her pet spread out his wings and flapped them, coasting along the surface of the bay.

He was taking her to her destination, he knew where she wanted to go and did not question why she needed to. Kanix was right, however, it didn't take long before his speed started to slow down to a soft coasting and an occasional flick of the wings. That meant the island was close by, and through the fog, it would soon be seen, resting on the horizon as a foreboding magnificence. She felt Ancalagon pull upward, higher into the sky, then dove downward to the beach that was just ahead of them. They landed gracefully upon the sand, and when he came to a full stop, the woman slithered off his side and hit the ground. Digging into the pouch that was strapped to her waist, she pulled out a rather large chunk of suspicious-looking meat and tossed it at him. The sound of his teeth crunching into the slab of meat entered her ears and she smiled before continuing into the forest. Now, she had to begin the true search.

"Ancalagon, come along boy!" Kanix called to her pet, who was lagging behind a little as he chewed on his treat. "I have a hunch that Brennan wasn't very creative in where he decided to hide from me; so, if I'm correct, he's at the center of this place. You're gonna have to help me though, guide me along and such, because I'm not at all familiar with the workings o—" As she said this, the shamaness had managed to trip over a root that jutted up from the ground, near a rather large tree. Her pet gave out one of its terrible cries and bent its head down, picking her up in its jaws and setting her back to her feet. Embarrassingly, the blind woman dusted off her bodice and picked her staff up again, her face heated and red. "As I was saying, I'd like for you to stick close to me, that way I don't have to worry about that happening again."

With that being said, the woman kept herself quiet and proceeded walking through the thick jungle of a forest. She picked back vines and branches, ducked under too heavy of limbs, while Ancalagon just barged through it all. Her fingers touched everything that she was capable of touching, all in hope that she could guide herself along in the right direction. From time to time, her pet would nudge her to and fro, making sure she stayed in a straight line from where they had been going. As humiliating as it was, she knew that the exam wasn't going to be an easy one, but she had hoped it would've been accommodated to her impairment. Apparently, Brennan wasn't entirely aware of her blindness, so she couldn't hold him against that when he didn't know. A grunt left her lips as Ancalagon's beak bumped her to the right for a second time, narrowly dodging a tree.

"Th-thanks," Kanix mumbled to him, while reaching out her staff to glide it along left-to-right as they walked in front of her. It was grass, all grass, with bits of dirt and stones and twigs, but luckily nothing that would cause her to fall over. For a second, however, pulsation surrounded her, which to her, was something normal, so she merely ignored it. Whatever it happened to be, it would come again, and then she would start to pay a bit more attention to it. Unknowingly though, the woman's eyes began to glow, white light rimming her eyes and outlining her clouded pupils. The pulsation came again, this time more startling than the next, causing her to fault in her step and nearly trip over another root. Her pet was quick and reacted in time to catch her and help her regain her balance, nudging her along once more.

The bird gave a soft, rumbling whine toward her, as if he could sense that something was wrong with her and just couldn't say. Kanix ignored it though, figuring it was only him wanting attention from her in the silence and to help pass the time.

Once again, the pulsation occurred and this time the sensation was so startlingly real to the woman, that she stopped dead in her tracks. Her pet bumped into her back, shaking its head from the sudden halt and squawking a little at his owner's silence. Kanix's hand silently reached out, her mouth shaped into a silent "o," as if she was screaming out or gone into shock. An image flashed before her eye, and the brilliance of the white light surrounding the opalescent blue ignited into a flame. Before her, she could see two very large warms, with rows and rows of teeth gnashing and gnawing at her. They were angry, but she didn't know why, she could only feel it. They felt lost, too, as if they didn't belong on the island. Were they. . . put. . . here on the island by some unknown means? Why would someone do that to those power creatures?

These creatures that she saw in her vision though. . . they did not look sad or unhappy about their misfortune of being moved. They were entirely angry over it and they were taking their anger out on her, but the last she remembered, was walking through the forest. What was she seeing? Why was she seeing this? Was this the potentiality that her birthright had given to her? For a moment longer, the woman would stare at the two images of the giant worms, but then the images would fade into black. The white essence of light around her eye dissipated and left the woman standing in a daze back in her own world. Her hand dropped to her side and a shiver ran down her spine; she didn't know what to make of the two worms. Hell, she didn't know that these worms were even here on Tenroujima Island, and she wondered what else was there.

Ancalagon pushed his beak against her back, drawing her out of her daze, the woman make a little sound at him. She turned her head upward and smiled kindly at the beast, reaching up and lightly patting the cheek of her pet. "Come along, Ancalagon, it's all right. . . I'm all right," the shamaness answered her pet's concern before proceeding their journey. Kanix found herself brushing past more thick leaves and foliage, only to enter into a bright and open clearing of the forest. The ground rumbled and shook and her Thunderbird let out a squall as the dirt on the ground rose up in various places. Her footing was lost and she fell against the beast, who let out another terrible cry before releasing a spark of lightning into the sky. "No, no. . . Ancalagon, please. . . I can do this on my own," she tried to assure her pet, who was starting to get defensive.

In another place of the clearing, the ground seemingly breathed in and rose upward, and as it did so, a worm broke free. An inhumane sound irrupted from its bowels that even Kanix couldn't quite understand what the noise was. However, she reacted as quickly as she could, raising her staff and pointing it at the critter's head, or where she thought it was. "Call of the Wild: Winter's Roar!" she shouted, sending out a blast of cold, wintry air toward the worm ahead of her. The attack hit, resulting in ice crawling over the bodice of the creature, until its form had turned entirely blue. With one of the worms down, the woman focused her attention back on the ground as it rumbled and growled still. That meant there was another of those thing around, and she wasn't sure when or where it was going to pop up.

However, her pet was just as angry and frustrated over the possible posing of threats to his owner and a lightning orb formed at its beak. His mouth opened wider, causing the orb to grow larger, until he released it at the ground, burning the grass and foliage. "Ancalagon!" Kanix scolded, slamming her foot on the ground and pointing her staff at him, jabbing the horns at the bird. The Thunderbird let out a squawk again and flapped its wings at Kanix, which caused the sound of rolling thunder. As the two fought though, the second of the worms burst from the ground, heading straight for Kanix as it appeared. Instinctively, the woman moved to dodge the attack, running into her bird, who stretched out its neck and chomped down on the insect. He pulled upward, tearing the creature from the ground, where it writhed and squirmed in its beak like a freshly pulled worm.

Ancalagon chomped on it and chewed, blood spurting from random areas of the insects body before he swallowed it whole. Kanix clung to the side of her pet before clambering onto his back and kicking him in the sides to get him to fly. The beast burst from the trees, but as he did so, the woman and he were met by two very large bats in the sky. He still had size on them, but comparatively speaking, the bats were a quarter of what the dragon-sized Thunderbird was. "Move!" she ordered him, leaning her weight to one side in order to get her pet to swing around the oncoming beasts. She flicked her staff around her wrist and called out, "Call of the Wild: Spirit of Lightning!" to blast a bolt of lightning at one of them. It struck and electrocuted the bat, causing it to falter in its flight and go crashing to the ground for the time being.

Kanix then swung her staff in the general direction of the other bat, sending off a blast of liquid, yet gooey poison. It missed, unfortunately, and the woman was left to letting her pet handle the two bats, since she was out of easy to use spells. She pushed Ancalagon forward, telling him to go upward, in which the bird obediently followed her order, then dove downward. In his talons, a snake appeared, but this snake was no ordinary snake; to the naked eye it would appear as just that, but the moment it hit, it felt like lightning. Coming over the first of the two bats, the bird dropped the snake-like lightning bolt down upon the creature and it hit. Ancalagon folded his wings inward and let himself and his owner plummet toward the earth, where the other bat was. At the last second, he spread his wings wide and dropped a second bolt of lightning upon the bat on the ground.

Something rammed into the side of Ancalagon, which with the force of impact, caused Kanix to release her grip and fall from her place. She let out a scream, but her pet had instinctively whirled to face its attacker and had engaged in battle with it. The two were busy duking it out with each other, biting and nipping, scratching and flapping, making it sound like a true storm. Her eye wildly looked around, even though she couldn't see a thing as she was falling; where in that moment a light wrapped around her. As it had formed it had quickly gone, leaving a crow in the place of what had been Kanix just momentarily falling through the sky. It flapped its wings wildly, coursing through the wind current and trying to make its way back up to the fighting creatures. That familiar terrible scream emitted from Ancalagon's maw and it bit down on the head of the bat, ripping it off.

The bird latched its beak and talons onto the feathers of Ancalagon and quickly shifted back into the form of Kanix. "Go!" she ordered him, her heart beating quickly and breath heaving, ordering him to take her to the center of the island. Obediently, he did as he was told, dropping the lifeless and headless body of the bat and taking off to the center of the island. His wing beats were fast and fleeting, pushing his speed to as fast as he was able to carry his rider. Before long, the duo had landed by the great tree of the island and Kanix slipped off the side of him and patted his head. She was loving and careful toward him, but after a moment, the woman whirled on her toes to face her proctor. "Are you trying to kill me?" Kanix screamed at him, "I'm a blind woman! I can't make it through a goddamn forest that I don't know by heart!"

Kanix sucked in a deep breath and let it out slowly, so as not to be or look as angry as she truly happened to be. "Please, take into consideration next time the very fact that I. . . cannot. . . see!" She waved her hand around her blind and missing eye. She took in another deep breath and let it out, feeling the calmness start to wash over her as she breathed in deeply. "I don't mean to sound rude; I'm sorry."

Brennan leaned against the tree for about an hour and a half, yawning often, and spending most of the time he waited messing around with an open flame on his left palm. As soon as he saw Kanix, he closed his hand, and was immediately scolded with the fact that Kanix was blind, the very fact that she was even able to make it here at all, and Brennan felt really bad... "I'm really sorry 'bout that..." He mumbled, "I am glad to say that your exam is almost over." He closed his other fist and the three orbs of fire spread across the island extinguished immediately. "The last part of your exam is to spar me for a brief period of time, but I will not be going easy on you simply because you are blind." He stared the woman down and grinned, even though she couldn't see it, "You have other manners of identifying your surroundings... yes?" He slipped into a battle stance and light, tickling flames spread across his whole body, "Now then, would you like to take the first move?" He was, of course, going to go easy on the woman, not because she was blind, but because he wasn't sure if she was ready for B-Rank... it was the moment of truth.

"To Hell with you!" she mustered up the threat, pointing her staff's horns at the very chest of the Fairy Tail Ace. She could have very easily impaled him with them if she had wanted to, but she knew the rules of being a legal mage. They could not kill, no matter what, and however many times it took her, she still could not get used to it. Rage boiled inside of her, but she stood there with her weapon pointed at him, the emeralds like soulless eyes staring at Brennan. Her sightless eyes narrowed, as if she was able to see him, but then she dropped her staff to her side and looked to Ancalagon. "Go!" the woman ordered her pet harshly, sending him off to the skies, so that he would not get in her way. "As for you, you little menace, I'll make sure to take care of you before the day's over. . . Famine would love a new head for her mantle. . ."

What was she saying? She was not a part of Basilisk Fang anymore, she should not have the killing intent that she had now. "If fire doesn't kill you first, then let the infection spread. . ." she chuckled darkly as a noxious gas spilled out from the nostrils of the ram's head. Within the fifteen meter radius, the green cloud would billow up and around the both of them, though would only affect Brennan. To which he would begin to feel the effects of nausea, rendering him a little less powerless to Kanix when in this state.

As soon as Kanix unleashed her venom cloud; the skies above would crackle with yellow thunder a bit; as a bad lightning storm seemed to fill the area. Although, the lightning was not a natural blue or purple; it was golden.

As a huge golden thunderbolt the size of a house fell, downward it would split apart several trees as Heero appeared in the clearing with Rose standing next to him.

"We'll take over from here Brennan, you have a mission." Rose would swish her tail back and forth, clutching a Job Sheet. She would walk up as her feet made the 'exceed' noise when she moved. Handing the Job Sheet to Brennan. It was an S-Ranked job. Beyond his Rank. But one that only he could accomplish. As he was possibly the strongest fire wizard in Fairy Tail. "Now hurry off....sho! Sho!" Rose said, slapping Brennan on the butt playfully.

"I see. So you've already reached this portion of the exam..." the first thing Heero said was actually something serious for once. Which caused Rose to look at him funny.

As the green cloud they were standing in began to affect both Heero and Rose, both of their faces turned green comically. As Heero almost hurled, he would power up slightly; as lightning sparkled off of him violently and whipped around the area. The cloud was zapped into nothingness as lightning continued to skip around the battlefield harmlessly. Kanix would be familiar with this technique; and she would probably after half a year of knowing Heero know how the technique worked. He could switch places with any piece of Lightning anywhere. Making him a nearly impossible target to hit.

"Your exam will be to hit me." Heero said mysteriously from behind Kanix, as a piece of lightning sizzled where he used to be. "Do your best." he said from a new position to her right. A speck of lightning spinning behind her where he just was. "I'm probably one of if not the best wizard alive at movement and redirection.....if you can hit me...there isn't a wizard alive you can't land a blow on." he'd rub the back of his head once as he spoke. "As a matter of fact, this is perfect training for a wizard like you. A sensory test like none other."

For awhile, nothing but the sound of Lightning skipping around in a huge 100 ft area around them was heard.

"Begin." Heero said crossing his arms and waiting for her.

OOC: After 3 more posts, I'll make sure you land a hit. But it needs to be creative or it won't work. Very creative. I won't be holding back as far as movement goes so good luck.

    CALL OF THEWILD
    Kanix Laspor's B-Rank Exam Tumblr12
The crack of thunder alerted Kanix, thinking that it was Ancalagon who was planning an attack on Brennan without her order. She had stopped what she was doing to look up to the sky in order to scold the Thunderbird; however, his magical presence was quickly overwhelmed by another. A bolt of lightning struck down on the ground and the woman jumped back, covering her ears at the noise that was intensified by her enhanced hearing. Her single, cloudy eye flickered upward, as if it could stare at Heero and see him physically standing there before her. What was Heero doing here at her exam? This was rather embarrassing with the way she was acting a bit maliciously toward Brennan. Had he learned of her malice toward the young Ace or was he here for some other reason than to simply observe? Her eye darted toward Rose as she walked over to Brennan and handed him a piece of paper, stating he had a job to do.

Kanix frowned. He was taking over her exam? She had no chance in passing this now, literally none with how strong he was. The short statured woman straightened her posture and narrowed her single eye, back to staring at Heero's position, but not directly at him. "You think you can just barge in here and take over? You insolent fool. . ." she retorted, cackling slightly with her words. She hummed a little, soft and melodious, almost. . . enchanting. . . but then it stopped and she spoke. "I have no chance against you; why would you come in here and ruin that chance I had at becoming B rank?" Lightning crackled around them, and as Heero spoke to her, she noticed the subtle differences in the distance of his voice. In some places, it sounded farther away, while in other places, it sounded as if it was close enough to touch him with her hand.

I can't use lightning against him, he'd simply absorb it. . . I can't use water either, lightning uses it as a conductor, same as metal. Can I poison him? How will would he take to his immune system being distorted by cyanide and other poisons? Perhaps I should force him into his worst nightmare? But as much as I'd like to, I don't know the correct calculations to yield such a promise. . . Once again, she was frowning as her guild master bounced around her in the coursing lightning, never in the same place. There's a pattern to his trajectory. . . I know there is. . . Her single eye lit up with a glow, darting around in her head as she accessed her precognition. It was too hard though, there were far too many outcomes viable with his position that she could not pinpoint a favored place of his. She was going in blind. . . literally.

Colorful wings (blue, white, and orange feathered) sprouted from her back, with the tips of the wings gently kissing the ground. She spread them out, hoping that their brilliance in color would catch the eye of the guildmaster and halt his position momentarily. Kanix's wings beat heavily through the air, lifting up the woman slightly from the ground, until she was a few meters above the coursing lightning. If the distraction of color didn't prove to be helpful, it'd be the harmonious singing that flung from her throat into the air. It wasn't any sort of lyric music, but simple instrumental-type emitting through the vibrations of the air. Caught in this trance, everyone is forced to do a single thing to themselves, mostly injuring themselves as means to prove their love. The intensity of the infatuation forces the person into a state of being unable to hurt their opponent, as well as willingly obey their "master."

She figured if using this ability of hers, she could force Heero to injure himself bad enough to slow down his ability change position. However, this was highly unlikely to her even as she thought it, as this mage before her was stronger than she suspected.

Kanix Laspor's B-Rank Exam Empty Re: Kanix Laspor's B-Rank Exam

    Post by Haru-senpai 10th April 2016, 6:56 am

Heero looked on as Kanix took her time with her words. He was a genius in battle himself, as much out of it as he was a dumbass. He could tell her words were only a distraction so that she had more time to think.

"There's an orphanage that's been on fire for fours days. With magical fire that none can seem to put out. Some kids have been inside for days, probably only have a day or so left with all that smoke inhalation. Brennan is the only one who could save those kids.......you have to understand. If it were a legion of invisible guys running around raping women; I'd send you to handle it, cause I'm sure you'd enjoy torturing those assholes." Heero said this so Kanix knew that his respect for both her and Brennan could not be bought or earned, it was through the roof and he had only done this to save the lives of those kids who needed a powerful fire wizard.

It seemed she'd come up with a plan. Wings. Heero's eyes would flick over them briefly as they appeared. It was very tribal, the symbolization of the wings themselves with their multi-colored feathers.

While he was distracted for a split second, Kanix started to sing. Sounding as good as Arianna Grande, Heero raised an eyebrow. Then, it happened. His eyes changed color to a bright pink from their neutral blue.

"I see.....well you've certainly brought out my love for you." Heero with pink, possessed eyes would smile back at Kanix. "I've always had a thing for you, always dreamed of grabbing that soft body and stealing you away from Nekros' lazy ass." he took a step toward Kanix and approached her with his guard down, although lightning still skipped all over. "Why don't we make this exam....something else?" he asked "I promise it'll be worth your time."

As he now stood directly in front of her, at the moment she tried to strike a bolt of Lightning would fall down from the heavens and strike them both, swapping their position as Heero looked on with pink eyes still after Lightning Dragon's Swap.

"Just because I love you now, doesn't mean your exam is over." Heero winked at her and continued "Or you could just let me fuck the socks off of you, that's an easy pass." he would say as he took a huge leap at Kanix through the air, enough to clear a high bar without a pole vault.

Just before he landed, he would disappear in a lightning bolt to his left. He would then zig zag several times, reappearing all around Kanix at close range in a circle. After a third Lightning Dragon's Flashing Step, Heero would appear behind Kanix; and grip onto her waist tightly with one arm from behind; and grab a handful of breast with the other. Pulling her into a bear hug from behind with H-Ranked force, Heero began to squeeze so hard that it would begin to actually hurt.

"Now, what will you do?" Heero said as he groped her, softly rolling his palm against the boobs he was gripping. Possessing Heero with love during an exam had been a great idea, but a bad idea. "You're far too weak to bust out, I suppose the best thing to do is just give up right?" Heero said, his pink eyes possessed with love and attraction for Kanix only made him more brutal toward her. "WELL?" Heero said as he pulled her hair. The moment she made a move toward him, he would open a Black Hole with his Heavenly Body Magick and disappear inside of it with a loud roar of noise from it appearing then silence. Reappearing out of another one about three seconds later, off to Kanix' left with another loud space ripping noise.

Rose looked on, arms crossed. Noting how after Ariel, who was beyond X-Rank. From Hargeon Town during Rising Tides; Heero was far more resistant to Siren control. Last time his eyes had turned pink, Alyia had died and thousands of others as well. It seemed however, that this time Heero still had control of his will; only his mind was distorted. Rose would swish her tail in amusement, as a girl cat she was enjoying this.

After a black hole the size of a bus closed behind him, Heero would set off toward Kanix at a shinobi like run, zig and zagging here and there once more as his Lightning Aura would turn on mid-run as he approached her.

    CALL OF THEWILD
    Kanix Laspor's B-Rank Exam Tumblr12
For fuck's sake, he was still conscious through all of this? Not to mention that he sounded to be more blabbery than when he wasn't entranced. She noted that for next time; if she wanted someone dead, she'd just entrance Heero and he can blabber them to death. The change in his pace faltered, but it was too short to land and actual blow on him, so she hadn't been able to get one out. Kanix fluttered back to the ground, listening intently to his footsteps, taking note of the pure gentleness that were in them. Everything about him was put into that trance, so how was he still conscious enough to not be a mindless drone? Right. Hargeon Town. . . Goddamn. . . she should have taken that into consideration and she entirely forgot about it. Through all of the distracted thinking, he was upon her now, which took her aback and she nearly swung a hook at him, but lightning struck them.

"I wouldn't let you fuck me ever in our lives," Kanix snapped, rage boiling in her veins with the way he was acting. Before long, he'd just prove to her that all men were the same sickening, perverted pigs they were made out to be. "You're just like all other men. . . disgusting pigs. . . who don't know how to keep their hands off a woman. You deserve to die."

His positions were too sporadic, she couldn't keep track of him with how often he moved from one bolt to the next. She had no choice, she had to bring Ancalagon in; she just had to hope the stupid bird wouldn't use electricity against Heero. "Anc-" she started calling her pet's name, but the moment she did so, Heero had grabbed her and groped harshly. This was not fair. He was putting her into a position that would only force anger to boil with the rage already there. Fortunately, the bird heeded her call and that terrible, ear-piercing screech rang out into the air as he dove downward. The bird, due to his size, took down a few trees like Heero's lightning had, crushing them beneath the weight of his body. He let out that horrid screech again, ruffled feathers standing up on his neck as he tried to look intimidating toward the guild master.

"A-attack him!" she ordered through stuttered words and gritted teeth as the groping became more painful to her. She rammed an elbow backward, but it hit empty air as Heero left through a spacial tear and reappeared from another. Her teeth ground against each other; however, she breathed in deeply and honed in on her hearing once again. Each spark, snap, and crackle of the lightning was noted down on the inside, her trying to learn their pattern. His breathing taken note into her head, his voice, his footsteps, every motion his body made through his spells. "Heero. . . how would you like to take a ride on Ancalagon? I promise he won't bite you the moment he knows who you are," she retorted. Get him onto something that moves and he's incapacitated; she'd be able to attack then. . . rather sneaky of her, but she was a former dark mage, it was expected.

"Ancalagon, fall back!" the shamaness ordered, whistling for the bird to come to her side, in which he obediently did. Kanix patted his neck roughly and cocked an eyebrow at Heero, certain he'd at least love to ride an Acnologia-sized creature. Without hesitating, the woman turned away from her guild master and hopped onto the back of the giant bird. She'd pat an empty space in front of her, allowing for Heero to get on, if he wanted to, and in the seat of control of the bird. "I'll even let you control him for a bit, take him for a spin, no?"

Kanix Laspor's B-Rank Exam Empty Re: Kanix Laspor's B-Rank Exam

    Post by Haru-senpai 10th April 2016, 5:24 pm

After he'd walked out of the black hole that exploded and spun loudly, it closed behind him at a whistle. As Heero heard, an ungodly screech from the air that was like a cross between a bird and a lion. The camera would zoom up, and focus on a giant bird with black feathered, crowned with some kind of armor around it's face and beak. Lightning seemed to fleck off of it. Dark purple in color. As the gorgeous bird descended, Heero noticed it was making a B-line for them.

It's wings were out, so trees were cleaned on it's way toward them. Smacking Kanix on the ass playfully as he pushed himself apart from her, he leaped away. Landing in a now larger clearing, with a huge thunderbird behind Kanix.

"Good, good. I wouldn't expect you to let a man have it unless he earned it. That's the story with Nekros right? Heh...I guess not." his eyes were still an unnatural pink. As the within a few moments, he seemed to somehow be released from this spell or enchantment.

His eyes would turn from the light pink back to the blue. Putting a hand on his head, he would look a bit put off as he shook his head.

"W-what on earth just happened....I feel like I did...oh no." realizing that he'd been placed under a similar type of enchantment that he'd been under in Hargeon he looked toward Kanix. He probably had a lot to apologize for that he didn't remember. But it seemed their exam was still underway.

"A ride on him? I...always wondered what it would be like to ride him, he's always up on top of the Guild............" not really registering as a mode of transportation in his mind; which he was deathly afraid of. He would walk up to the beast, and hop on a few moments after Kanix did.

Sparkling as he pumped a fist forward, he readied himself for when the beast would take off. As it did, Heero would grip onto it and hoot excitedly as a huge sonic boom exploded behind them along with a stream of wind and a few trees. Everything was all good, until.

    Heero looked down and around.

He didn't suffer from Motion Sickness like other Dragon Slayers. No. He had something much worse. Motion Fear.

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! AAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!! NO!!! NO!!! ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!" Heero's scream would be heard as the camera zoomed out comically. He clawed at the neck of the bird and wrapped his legs around it like a pretzel, grabbing feathers harshly as he...passed out. For three minutes. Waking up, and realizing the ride was still happening he scrambled backward and grabbed a hold of whatever he could at this point. Magic completely disabled due to his level of terror at the moment.

She felt Ancalagon lower himself as Heero climbed up onto his saddle and settled himself in rather comfortably, then he lifted off. The massive creature beat his wings, causing a sonic boom with the speed he took off at, which frustrated the young woman. "Ancalagon, be gentle!" Kanix ordered her pet, slapping him on the side to give him a warning for the way he was treating the guild master. "I apologize, Heero, Ancalagon thinks that you're trying to hurt me, so he's a bit more aggressive than what he normally is." Except, Heero wasn't paying any attention to her at all and had long since passed out from the fear of being in motion. "Oops. . . I forgot you don't get motion sickness like normal dragon slayers; I suppose I should have. . . taken that into consideration." Kanix chuckled darkly and grabbed hold of her staff from its place on the saddle, gripping it at the base of the skull.

The master sounded peaceful though, despite having passed out from his fear, she almost thought she couldn't do it. She had to though, it was part of her exam; she had to get a hit on him, no matter how deadly or in what way. Besides, he was far stronger than her, a little hit from her would feel like a bug bite to him, no? He could take it. Right? Kanix scrunched her eyebrows together in thought, but he began to stir in his place on the Thunderbird, meaning she had to think fast. Hesitation should not be residing within her, this man touched her in a way that she had not been comfortable with. It brought back memories she wasn't fond of, memories she wanted to get rid of permanently. . . he didn't help. So, he was going to pay.

As Heero awoke from his slumber and scrambled backward into her, she only smiled mischievously and held the horns of her staff to his back. "Heero. . . when you're pushed and pushed and you finally get sick of being pushed around, killing becomes as easy as breathing," she spoke. She pressed the sharp ends of the horns harshly against his back. . . "I was formerly a dark mage, you must understand that; I have more tactics up my sleeve than simply using my magic. Do not mistake my silence as a weakness, for no one plans murders out loud." With that being said, she'd drive the horns through his back.

If he had not caught on to her plans, due to the fear of motion and the attack went through, Kanix would tear her staff free of him. Blood would splatter over her legs, but other than that, the damage likely couldn't have been too bad on him, right? "How do you like for devilish trickery, Master?" the woman inquired, though moved and patted Ancalagon on the side. The bird gave a slight squawk, but knew what his owner wanted and turned around, diving downward, back to the clearing. He landed gracefully on the ground, in the carnage that had been left by his massive size and Heero's magic. Ancalagon shook out his body, ruffling his feathers, then rested there on the ground, allowing for Kanix to slip off and offer her hand to help her guild master off.

Kanix Laspor's B-Rank Exam Empty Re: Kanix Laspor's B-Rank Exam

    Post by Haru-senpai 10th April 2016, 6:56 pm

As he came too, he felt a staff on his back. Although he was still moving, and paralyzed with fear. He was starting to see Acnologon as an animal, and not a mode of transportation. A partner. A being, a person even.

Although his face was blue as hell, and he had a sweatdrop over his head. Shaking and looking left to right randomly, he began to calm down a bit. If he could look at Acnologon the same as he did Rose and Garfield, a partner and not transportation his fear would go away.

"Only when pushed can we reach new heights." Heero replied as the staff was pressed against his back. Back to his normal self, his voice was much more charming and calming as it usually was. The emotionless tone from before gone. He could've made a move, but Kanix had passed the Exam. Heero initially hadn't thought of Acnologon as a mode of transportation, but he was one that he wasn't used too technically.

As the staff was pushed through his stomach, it would splinter a bit since Heero was nearly superhuman. Although it went through slightly, blood leaking down his back as he listened to her words. Boy she was talkative now. Whatever he'd done during the possession must've really fired her up. Good. As a B-Ranked wizard, she would need to be WAY more mentally stable than she'd ever been as a C-Ranked wizard. This was as much a mental test as it was a physical one.

"Well, well. Who's talkative now?" he said as she pulled the staff free from his back. It was quite a weapon, and it even went through his skin somewhat. He was impressed. "A brilliant tactic, and..some of the memories of what just happened are coming back. I'm sorry. When possessed by beings of lust I tend to get a bit.......crazier than usual." he already was a huge ladies man, under the possession of a Siren or Witch he was a nearly insatiable being of lust. Although he was usually the charming gentleman, who would mow your lawn for free. He had a dark side that possession tended to bring out.

"Although I was able to retain some form control, it seems I did fall in love with you briefly. That's some ability you've got there." Heero was impressed, if he'd been a lesser wizard or even one who hadn't ever been possessed by a Siren before he would have been completely under her control. "Since I'm so impressed, I'll go ahead and send a notice to the Magic Council from Fairy Tail that you're to be considered a B-Class wizard. How does that sound?" Heero would say as they landed. His fear of Acnologon passing.

"As for what I think of your trickery, you could've won much sooner by using your womanly wiles on me." he admitted to her smirking.

He would hop off grabbing her by the hand, they actually walked holding hands for about ten steps away from Acnologon, Heero was a few inches taller. Putting a hand on her shoulder as he let her hand go, he would turn her as he made eye contact with her. Infusing his electricity up her arm and into her eye, as it skipped into it per his usual style. He would come into her view. His eyes their normal blue hue now.

"If no one has ever been proud of you, I'd like to tell you that I am." Heero smiled at her, closing his eyes. "When I look at you, I see such power. In a womanly form, even. A being who has risen above so much, yet still stands tall....I've lost more than most myself so I know what kind of strength it takes." now back to the real Heero, he would scratch his blue hair with one finger.

"Boy these memories keep coming back....did I really just do that?" he said, sparkling and blushing as he recalled what just had happened. If Kanix chose to flying kick him or neck chop him at this moment, it would be usual to him. As he stopped sparkling, he would put a hand on his chin. Looking at her in earnest care as he looked at the eye she'd lost. She was a Fairy Tail wizard when that happened, and he burned for revenge against those who'd even laid a finger on her. He knew the tale, but he'd leave it alone for now.

"I have one question though, it's almost going on a year of us knowing one another......what are you exactly? You've probably never told anyone, even at Basilisk Fang. But Fairy Tail is the guild of magical secrets." Heero knew more secrets than Pandora, and he was as the master of Fairy Tail the keeper of knowledge. "I know you're a human who was born a wizard. I can sense as much. Like most of us...but that ability back there...was your mother an actual Siren?"

Heero would await with his arms crossed. After her response, he would turn to Acnologon, and smile at the bird. Heero himself was highly attuned to animals, and could even turn into them. Acnologon knew this of Fairy Tail's master, and had seen him don the form of many animals, even his own kind as Heero often turned into birds and flew off.

Heero would extend a hand to Kanix, beaming smiling at her and as she took it; he would extend a hand to Acnologon. As if understanding, the mighty Thunderbird would crane it's head down. Placing his fingers upon the metal of it's armored beak. All three of them, Heero, Kanix, and Acnolgon would begin to glow brightly and sparkle with bright golden electricity.

A huge thunderbolt the size of a house would rocket off upward into the Heavens, parting the clouds in the bright blue skies above Tenroujima in a circle briefly.

    -------------------
OOC: After your next post / response, you're officially a B-Ranked wizard. Congratulations!!! (Holds up the FT handsign)

    CALL OF THEWILD
    Kanix Laspor's B-Rank Exam Tumblr12
"I expected as much from you, Heero; it's not hard to tell that you're a ladies man," the shamaness chuckled in response. "However, I didn't expect to hear you say you wanted to 'fuck the socks off me' rather than simple cheesy, romantic things." She could easily forgive and forget for him, since she knew he had been in a state of mind he wasn't entirely immune to. "Just don't let Alyia hear about that because I don't know how well she'd take to finding out you have affections for another. . ." The woman shrugged her shoulders; hey, at least she had passed her exam with flying colors, right? Perhaps he pitied her and just let her pass the exam, since he knew she would never have been able to catch him? Little fucker probably thought that from the start: he either had blind confidence in her or found it as a sick joke.

Her fingertips traced along the bloodied and slightly splintered bones of the horns on the skull, frowning a bit at it. Bone was irreparable from what she could remember and she was afraid that if too much use from now on, would damage it too much. She should have thought that through. In fact, her weapon was far weaker in durability than Heero happened to be; it was a miracle it didn't break. Kanix curled her fingers around the emeralds in the eyes and popped them out, then slipped them into the pouch on her waist. She'd simply be magic-less for now.

"As tempting as that had been, Heero, I would much rather kill you with the rest of the men in the world than let you see me," she stated harshly. When she responded, she could feel his hand on her shoulder sparking warmth into her arm and up into her eye. He really needed to stop doing this. "I appreciate you giving me sight, but you do know that it's not necessary for you to do so, right? I can see you perfectly fine when blind, too." Kanix's eye flickered from her staff to look at her guild master.

Pride? He felt. . . pride. . . in her?

She noticed how he was staring at her intently, likely at the missing eye that Sol had taken from her when she was pregnant with Ahote. A hand slithered up and covered the empty socket, feeling tears prick at her eye and threatening to spill. Mistakes. That's all she ever made. Would she ever learn? Her hand fell back to her side and she looked away from Heero.

Then he came to a touchy subject. One she couldn't answer.

"I. . . I never met my mother; I only vaguely remember what she looked like before the night I was kidnapped and sold into slavery. Hard to believe that was over 18 years ago now. . . hard to believe that I hadn't died back when I was in slavery. . . Not to mention that I only recently found out that Ai's my sister." A frown appeared on her face as she thought back to her previous words. She should've died all those years ago. Why hadn't she?
"Actually, no. . . I was mentored by Morgavia when I was training for my secondary with Mashyuu and she handed over her Siren magic to me. She died afterward, but that was to be expected since a Siren's life force is their magic, and I promised to make her proud." Heero stated that she was a blood-born wizard, but in all truth, she didn't have an ounce of magical power in her.

Kanix dug back into her pouch and pulled out the emeralds that she had removed from her staff, baring them to him. "I'm not a wizard-born person at all, Heero, I get all of my magic from these two gems that were given to me by the Nirvits' shaman. He said great power was in them and that I should use them wisely, but I have a feeling there's something in me that's stronger than them."

As she spoke this, however, the guild master's signature lightning bolt would envelop them, Ancalagon included, and blast them back off to Magnolia.
