Personality: Kai is most likely the most confusing person you may ever meet at times. Outside of battle he is a go with the flow individual. Except his flow can be extreme at most times because of his very emotional tendencies. If he is happy he expresses happiness. If he is sad he will be the first to cry. He is not really able to hide how he feels and people can easily take advantage of him. On the other hand deep down inside he is a little child. His over expressive emotions come from him trying to let people understand him without really trying. The fact that the closer someone gets to him the more he pushes them away is a sign of his own weakness. For example if Kai was to go to a party. He would be the guy making polite conversation with people. Going so far as to play games and even break rules to fit in. Even if all he really wanted to do was stay home the entire time. He has a hard time with dealing with what people think he should be and who he is. He wants to change for the better. He wants to change to become the best possible version of himself. Whoever that may be.
Kai is never going to run to the front lines of a battle. If you see him running towards a fight run in the other direction. That means someone did something awful like kill his crush or destroy a town he likes to visit. For him to go out of his way to fight you! In battle he is a strategist first and foremost. Kai will not continue a fight he feels he cannot win. In fact if he thinks there is only a 25% chance of winning. He will make a retreat and come back to the situation. Some may see it as cowardice but Kai like’s to adapt to a situation. Making a fight more likely for him to win at all costs is how he fight. Even if he loses a fight he will take it was a learning experience and try to come up with another way to win. Underneath leadership Kai will just go with what he is told to do. It creates less problems for him and is easier to do. The only time when he will disobey an order is if it helps the prime objective. In which case he thinks of it as “that is what they meant to tell me”. Then he continues on. If Kai ever had to lead a group of people he would just tell them the what needs to be done. In a basic plan never a completely detailed plan, with a diagram, who takes who and whatnot. He believes everyone should do what they can to do what needs to be done. That way their skills would not dull and they will have the freedom of choice. Plans go wrong all the time, so thinking on your feet is important to him.

-Conversation: Fun people conversation is nice. Conversation on deeper thought and meanings are even better.
-Arts: He likes appreciate people that use their talents artistically. Someone with Artist like magic can easily make a fool out of him.
-Wide space and the smell of the sea: It reminds him of his home town.
Dislikes:
-People that are too Holy : Someone that does stuff and masquerades as a saint only do it for their own benefit. If you are claiming rewards and do it just to call yourself a hero. You are very much trash to him.
-Being lonely: This is different from being alone. Kai doesn’t want to be surrounded by people and still feel like no one is in the room. So cutting him out of an event or a group. Will hurt his feelings.
-Someone outwitting him. Or being able to out think him in a situation. He will never say it but it gets under his skin.

-Finding his happiness: The thing that makes him smile just doing it. Instead of just feeling like he is floating through life
-Honestly his main motivation is also to take life one day at a time.

-His own emotions: Emotions are a powerful thing to him. When he feels good things are great. Feeling down and being crushed by the weight of his own feelings when someone needs him the most. That terrifies him.
-Being neglected: He may be guildless for now but he does want a place to belong to. He is only solitary because that’s just how it is for now. Not because he wants to be. So being alone and not being accepted anywhere. Scares him more often than he can admit.
-Dragons: People may not have seen a dragon in a while. But a fire dragon wiped out his village so he tends to be phased by the giant lizards.
