Guard a house. The job itself seemed harmless and easy enough, and, in all honesty, Tomás may have been able to eek by on his own merits if he were any good with magic; although, given that his skills were absolute rubbish, no one would let him go by himself; thus, Izayuki had been volunteered to go along with him. As he perched on the mailbox of the place, waiting for the pink-haired teenager to catch up, he silently thought through his concerns about being on a job with her. The incident with the new member the other day had been...shocking, to say the least; he hadn't seen it himself, but the gossip he had heard was enough to make him nervous. Regardless, the situation was what it was, and there was no going back from it now. The house looked exquisite, and just looking through the windows made him a bit curious as to what else was inside...he was no thief, but the bird could be nosy at times and right now was one of them. But, he decided to let his curiosity lay unattended for the moment and wait for his guild mate, hoping that the night would be uneventful. As inviting as the house seemed, it ruffled his feathers for some reason...

Tired of walking, Izayuki had taken Tomas's dash ahead as a chance to potentially surprise him. He had no idea of her shapeshifting powers just yet, so she would use that to give herself a lovely moment of amusement. He perched far away on the mailbox of their client's house and was focused on the large mansion, his beady avian eyes not on her. He was an odd little toco toucan with an orange-yellow bill with a black tip and a white face and chest, along with two brilliant blue eyes, all the perfect traits of his species. She, however, would take the form of a keel-billed toucan with a green and orange beak with a red tip and a yellow chest and face. Her pink eyes remained, however, which typically was always the dead giveaway of who she was. Opening her dark wings, Izayuki flew a few meters above the ground and glided down to the mailbox to sit next to Tomas and hopefully surprise him. "Listo?" the she-bird asked, able to speak fragments of Tomas's native language. It was amusing overall to her, especially the fact that such a creature would join the Black Rose guild. Then again, like she was one to talk... she was truly a raccoon dog yokai, a Bakedanuki, no more an animal than he was. Izayuki preferred to hide that fact, however, and just claim she had a unique ability to transform into animals. Hopefully the idea of that power was generic enough to not have one connect her to the subject of what she really was.

Re: ¿Qué es esto? || Job
It was true that Tomás had no clue about Iza's shape-shifting abilities. To be frank, he had seen very few mages that had such a gift, although perhaps there were some that were in another form all the time...either way, he turned to look at his guild mate and almost fell off the mailbox in surprise when he that it was another toucan talking to him. Soon, however, he managed to laugh a bit and started to babble, finding it fascinating that she had the ability to change her form at will. "Nunca me dijiste que podría cambiar formas," he said, "Pero debo decir que los colores parecen absolutamente fabulosos en tú." His speech was rapid, spitting words out at a million miles an hour as he talked. It was the nature of the language, sad to say, and most probably wouldn't be able to make out a word he said.
However, as he looked at her for a longer period of time, he began to cackle and crack up with laughter, saying, "Te mira! Con todos los colores, ¡casi pude confunden lo con una ensalada de frutas!" He paused for a moment, before realizing that he had not answered the girl's question at all, and had gone on a tangent about how she was so colorful. Sheepishly, the toucan looked down and added, "Jejeje, pero contestar tu pregunta: sí, estoy listo."
Translations: "You never told me you could change forms! But, I must say that those colors look absolutely fabulous on you. Look at you! With all those colors, I could've mistaken you for a fruit salad! Hehehe...but, to answer your question: yes, I'm ready.

"Que!? Yo comprendo poco espanol..." the she-toucan replied as Tomas began to speak at lightning speed. She only knew bits and pieces of the language, and could by no means speak fluently like she could a small number of other languages and tongues. At least the last few words, she understood. He was ready. Despite barely understanding many of his words, she nodded and opened her dark-feathered wings, taking flight and gliding towards the house. Upon landing on the ground, Izayuki shifted back to her human form with that familiar outfit and pastel-hued scarf she was rarely seen without.
Turning around to the toucan, she chuckled softly. "Transforming is a specialty of mine~" she explained, holding back the fact that she was a yokai tanuki. Many yokai could shapeshift, but raccoon dogs, or tanukis were absolute masters. She had learned to transform at an early age, and had basically been forced to self-teach herself knew forms, timing, and endurance. She could only hold her shapes for so long before she needed a rest. Her human form was the unique exception to that somehow. But then again, after having remained in that shape for so long, she was forced to have a break. She did not know why, and while it was annoying, it at least reminded her of her true nature, and did not allow her to get too involved with humanity. As much as she loved and was mesmerized by the human race, it was still something she was happy to distinguish from, as any proud yokai could agree.

Re: ¿Qué es esto? || Job
Tomás cocked his head to the side as he watched his guild mate transform from a bird to a human. It was interesting to witness someone willing change themselves to and from a desired form with ease. "¿Qué puede hacer?" he asked, his voice brimming with curiosity, "Seguramente alguien tan talentoso como tú tiene muchos trucos encima de sus mangas." He continued going on and on with nonsense about this thing or that thing, speaking so rapidly that anyone not fluent in his language would easily become lost or confused. Several minutes passed before he got the feeling that someone was standing over his shoulder; he paused, then turned around to see who was behind him: a group of about ten men with crowbars and hammers.
"Oh...." the toucan said, swallowing a bit. Rather than visibly panicking and fleeing, the bird instead decided to play the fool and toy with the apparent bandits. "¡Hola, señores!" he said rightly, "¿Cómo están? Me llamo Tomás, y esto es Iza. ¿Estás aquí robar a la casa, correcto?"
All of them had a confused look on their faces; one of them, apparently the leader of the small band, said, "Uh...we-o no speak-o espanol-o."
"¡Eso está bien! ¡Todo lo que significa es te puedo maldigo a todos lo que deseo!" the bird replied, before flapping his wings and perching on the man's head. To the tune of an old folk song of his homeland, the bird began to dance on the man's head and sing:
"Al principio, Dios dijo
Los bandidos son todos coños
Hijos de putas debiluchas
y jartos estúpidos, tontos~♪
Translation: "What else can you do? Surely someone as talented as yourself has more tricks up their sleeves. Hello, gentlemen! How are you? My name is Tomás, and this is Iza. You are here to rob the house, correct?
...
That's okay! All that means is I can curse you out all I want!"

Izayuki could only giggle as the avian spoke at rapid speeds in a foreign language. While she understood some of the language, when spoken fast, it was almost impossible to comprehend, as for anyone. She was unable to even confess her confusion, however, as she felt a number of nearby presences. Humans, obviously. She could tell by their scent that they were close, and attempting to be sneaky. Heck, they had barely gone into the house yet! As the lot of them approached, the yokai's pink eyes widened in slight surprise as the toco toucan began to play innocent with them. He introduced himself and Izayuki, and asked if they planned to rob the house... well, the answer was obvious, but as one of the thieves began to reply in what was seen as a failed Spanish accent, Tomas gave a crude reply.
And then...
He didn't.
No wait.
He totally did.
The black, white, and yellow feathered animal had flown up to the bandit's head and began dancing, while singing some vulgar song that Izayuki luckily was not familiar with. Felicia had taught her clean Spanish... so her innocence came into play whenever Tomas opened his sometimes vulgar beak. Giving a grin as the promise of a fight came closer, Izayuki summoned her ice sword. It was a beautiful katana made of pearl-white ice, with a lovely long ribbon flowing in the breeze from the hilt. These thieves were beyond what could be considered extremely weak. The legendary weapon, Kuraokami, was mostly summoned just to intimidate them. As soon as she had brought the magical item out, some of the bandits began backing away in immediate fear. She was aware that some of her spells were rather dangerous and deadly to such weak foes, so she would have to be careful not to kill them. Not that she minded, but typical human society saw killing as very bad, and she had come to respect that, and even understand it to a degree.... well, being sliced a few times was not that bad, right? "Outta the way, Tomas- I got this~" Izayuki said with that familiar, taunting smile.
