T he day after Azurius had played tag with a group of rather daring young boys and girls, ones who had no fear of a man who was a combination of being a stranger, a blatant outsider, much larger than them, and obviously not one to toy around with. He had a fair bit of respect for them, as none of them had shown fear for him. He thought it rather cute, the young boy running right into Niyol before bouncing off like a super bouncy ball, slamming his rear end on the ground and instead of looking on Azurius with fear, he just flat out asked him to play. He got to learn the game humans called tag, which was more like the Holy Army's equivilant of endurance training... except cuter... with more laughing. After that, he had taken to a nice nap in a tree overnight, though he spent a majority of that time staring up at the night sky. Him being a celestial wizard, Azurius was naturally drawn to gazing at stars. They were beautiful, bright, easy to spot when the light interference from the inner city lights didn't get in the way, and ancient. Each star home to a wizard, known to the humans and all other races as Celestial Spirits, each having their own properties, and all of them Azurius was eager to know. He had only met a handful in his time, many not contracting with him, but the ones that did grew on him over the million or so years he was alive, and became the absolute best of friends. It was on this morning he woke up on the same tree, hearing the screeching of rubber on concrete followed by an abrupt crashing sound as a mailman swerved on some stray magic residue from the local guild, slamming his vehicle into a building. He was frantic, afraid that this may be the end of his career, or at least, the only job he was able to get after over a dozen interview as he'd explained to Azurius when he approached. He paced around, terrified of what the company would do to him, how much they would cut from his check, if he would get a check at all... Azurius had stopped the man in his tracks, asking him exactly what he was doing and giving a blank expression when he said he was delivering letters. He told Azure that all he had left was the one street and it would be the end of his run, but then returning to being frantic about Fairytail's residual magic from when they screw around in places. Azurius had grabbed the stack of letters and started running down the street, his training in the Holy Army serving to give him great endurance for this sort of thing. Once he returned, the mailman had thanks Azurius for doing that for him, expressing his gratitude with what little jewel he had offhand and resumed trying to figure out what in the hell he was gonna do about his vehicle.
