"The lower tiers of Motor City can house...some of the poorest families live here.  This doesn't create the best environment for raising children.  The local law enforcement is too busy enforcing the law in more...financially equipped locations of the city.  This brings me to my request.  My child and the children of a lot of other parents have stated to form "gangs"  They are all 7-14 in age.  Too young to join the real gangs that roam around but old enough to cause harm to each other.  Suddenly they have started coming home with bruises which was worry enough but just the other day I heard about a child that had a serious cut.  I'd had enough at that time, I tried to force my child to stop but all I got was hate back at me.  They are in some kind of child gang war but they are really starting to hurt each other!  We need someone to stop them.  To show them that peace is a better way then war! Please help!"

Aizenagi read aloud to he and his partner, unknown by name. This was certainly his first job with the apparent-young lady, and was rather excited. "This is pretty cool. But it's also awfully convenient how I always end up with the tasks to beat up little kids. Heh. Alright, well, let's get going, sugar plum." He peered back over his shoulder to smirk to his partner.

Marceline silently watched Aizenagi ramble off the request for their job, her arms crossed and stationed under her breasts. She was not amused by the nickname he had given her, simply because they had not established themselves on a name-to-name basis. Apparently, neither of them had thought to initiate conversation before heading off to do their job, but they could do that while they went there. Besides, the job was stationed out in Motor City, with where they were presently at, it would no doubt take them awhile. Then again, it would be more fun to force Aizenagi to travel with her by ash, and get a kick out of his reaction. However, he might respond in a way she didn't like, and she didn't really want to get that close to him either. Hence why she had kept herself at a safe distance and positioned herself on one of the tables, close to the job boards.

This allowed for her to be close enough to him that she could still hear, but far enough away that he wouldn't be hit by her aura. The last thing she needed was to come back home from an easy job with a badly injured partner because he was dumb enough to get trapped in her aura. To be honest though, she would find it much more hilarious if she had to explain to Janneline why he was so injured. She'd be able to grace their guildmaster with a wondrous story of Aizenagi's stupidity and how he got too near to her. Marcy cleared her throat when Aizenagi finished monotonously rambling their job request and started walking toward the door. What conversation was there to initiate with the man when all he did was call her "Sugar Plum" in the most menial way? Already by the nickname given to her, she had found the man disgusting and revolting, below her own level.

She wasn't going to acknowledge him in anyway, but did glanced toward him momentarily, long enough for their eyes to connect. Thereafter, the woman reached the doors and her body disintegrated into ash, leaving her godforsaken guildmate behind. He could find his own way to Motor City, she was going to take the quickest way that she knew to get to the place. If it took him hours, she'd do the job on her own, but in no way would she associate herself with such a lowlife as him. Should she not have been in her ashen form, the woman could have been seen with her nose wrinkled up in disgust at the thought of Aizenagi. This job was no longer one for entertainment, but one where she would have to force herself to complete it. Out of all her guild members, this was the first one who she did not like, and it was merely because of the name he called her.

With your lust and your greed weighing down
Aizenagi continued rambling on until he had noticed much... discomfort coming from his guildmate. He had taken his observations and analyzed them, only to discover that many people in this guild weren't talkers. It was... odd. He had dull memories of his recent past, originally being the youthful god of the Moon, driven out of his realm by some other destructive force. He had no memory beyond that, and it was not a lot to work with. Beyond that? Nothing. No memory of his birth or death, his origin unknown to he and others. But those mysteries were likely questions never to be answered. If anything, he was unsure of his godly status to begin with. All he knew, is that he was of greater power than these human beings. His restrictive body holding him back from unleashing that destructive energy. There was not much he could do besides collecting clues to lead him down a path for answers, but he had very little guidance of where to start.

So, his initial plan was to associate himself with those who are, overall, associated with many. For with many steps, come stairs. Stairs that can grant someone the choice of climbing up or down where which the person would meet a destination. When he first arrived to this plane of being, it was a matter of moments of which his essence would disperse elsewhere, unless he had claimed the vassal of another dweller. He did as accordingly, claiming a young man's body, messy black hair and crimson eyes. It went as planned, and he had successfully claimed the young man's physical body, it's appearance adapting to Aizen's former. Well, not quite. When woken from the state of unconsciousness, he had lost sight in his right eye, as well as a strange marking stroking across his back. It was truly troublesome. Having to deal with these abnormalities. Unsure of how to deal with this issue, he simply covered up the eye with an eye patch, and ensconced himself in a shawl of which he never discards.

Beyond that, he was in hopes that these jobs would give him some lead of his chase from his realm. But for now, he had treated this body ever so delicately, for it was not his and was unsure of whether he could just as easily claim another vassal. And perhaps Savage Skull was not the guild to associate himself with, seeing as he was not inherently bad. As far as Aizenagi was concerned, he pledged his loyalty in the name of this infamous grouping of fellows. If anything, it certainly seemed more exciting and eventful then 'obeying the law'. For human morals and just was simply intriguing to him. Who was to say that evil and good had existed? These beings criminalized for the the path that they walk in, was just too thrilling for Aizenagi. If man were to remain in boundary of justice and ethics, this world may very well be a prison.

He was lost in thought again. How distasteful of him, he should of bidding attention to his oh-so faithful partner in this task! Together they would quell the injustice, and save these poor children from themselves! Yes! This was a true just! This was Savage Skull! This was teamwor- She left in the midst of Aizenagi's false mindset. He raised a brow to her... form. How interesting, but bland at the same time. It made no difference to him, less to hold him back. He had assumed that she would be venturing over to Motor City, and decided to do the same. True, this had been his first time he was assigned the destination of Motor City, and was relatively optimistic of the journey, but was more thrilled for the actual action.

With little care of the disappearance of his partner, Aizenagi looked to the area he was in now in comparison to where he thought he needed to go. It was not hard to spot a small station, a few horses of dark, earthy furs, lined side by side by an elderly woman, who patiently stood there, counting coins. With a rather alluring, mischievous look frozen to his lips, he shifted his direction to the station as he approached her. With an outstretched hand, he leaned in close to her with a palm loosely grasping a small bag of jewels of which he retrieved from the many pockets of his attire. The woman surprisingly perked her head to the scene and smiled, graciously taking the bag and stepping aside for entry to the mounts. "Well, how far is Motor City from this dump?" He inquired with a demanding tone, but a smile to his lips as he took the reigns to the horse, guiding it towards him. The woman only spoke softly but firmly, "Just a couple hours from here, shouldn't be that ba-"

"Just down this path?" He interrupted with the same demanding tone, but facade of a smile.

"Y-Yes... just keep going straight. Why are you going, anywa- "

"Heh, just beating some kids and taking some money. Anyway, see you." He chuckled with a subtle darkness in his voice and eyes. What were the odds that he  had shocked the woman? Great, though she should of expected as such from a man who start a conversation with insulting the present destination. He mounted the mahogany horse with a black mane, jerking the reigns back to his chest as the steed had bucked back with a cry of distraught, slamming it's forelegs back to the dirt below and galloping down the pathway as Aizenagi whipped the reigns, certain that it would not take long to arrive there. Surely, he should consider getting himself one of these things! "What an absolute pain. Having to stay on this animal for the remainder of my morning, or not. I'm unsure. But this job better be worth the jewels I exchanged for this transportation. Geez..." He mumbled quietly to himself as he leaned closer to the nape of the neck of the steed, which, bared a fair amount of stamina and endurance. Perhaps this was the correct choice. Or he could muse himself with searching for a train station. That never crossed his mind, in fact. But it was too late now, he was already on his way. And at, a rather decent pace. Sufficient at best.

    I HAVE BECOME DEATH
    the destroyer of worlds
    TAGGED: ...   |   WORDS: 1140   |  NOTES: ...
As per usual, the woman was the first to arrive in Motor City out of the two of them, landing gracefully at the borders of the city. The ashes swirled together in a small-scale tornado, then dispersed into a cloud-like puff outward around the lady. She swayed her hips as she walked in nonchalantly, red pupils darting around to watch the passersby as they looked to her. Motor City was just as its name described, grimly dark and foreboding, mechanized, and all about the mechanics of things. This was uninteresting to her, but what was she to do about this place, other than corrode the metal, that is? It was so bleak and plain, though she had a job here that she couldn't quite pass up and that was to degrade and ruin some little children. Hopefully, her partner would get here eventually; otherwise, she would be taking this up on her own out of boredom from waiting.

People continued to gawk and stare at her; however, she kept her own gaze ahead of herself and observing the city, itself. The people were of no interest to her, as Death seemed to not much care about them at the time and she didn't mind that. If he didn't want them all dead, then that was totally all right with her because it was less worrying she had to do. Less having to be precise with what she was doing so she didn't end up killing the wrong people in the long run. Death was a tedious matter, and it only made it worse when things didn't go the way that she wanted them to go. This was why she tried to avoid people as often as possible, so as not to watch them suffer an unintended death. Perhaps, there would be lots of deaths today though. . . perhaps, the children would die if she found it necessary. . .

Marceline cleared her throat and tugged at the top of her collar to her cloak, feeling as if she was being suffocated by it. All the stares from the people were highly unnecessary to her, yet at the same time, she enjoyed being their source of awestruck. No one had ever seen as pale a creature as her or the menacing eyes that appeared to seemingly come from a demon. Essentially, it was only right for these people to ogle her as if she was some kind of otherworldly creature here on their planet. Taking into consideration that she was undead, then yes, all of that was true; she was an otherworldly creature in theirs. A soft humming came from her lips as she walked down the sidewalks of the city, a very familiar humming to herself. This humming being that of a song that she sung to her victims, in order to keep them calm when they died painfully.

It was only as she reached the corner of a block that she was bumped into by a young child running down the street. Evidently, the child cried out in pain the moment they entered her aura, being hurt by the decaying effect of it. Marcy caught her balance and let out an "oomph" as she was bumped into, glancing down at the kid. "Watch where y—" her sentence was cut off as another child let out a scream, but this scream was out of anger. Her eyes bolted upward, catching sight of another youngster giving chase to the one that had run into her. Instinctively, her hand went to the child, momentarily touching him before realizing what she was doing and pulling away. All the while, her optics were upon the knife-wielding attacker, anger boiling in her veins as she moved to stand in front of the crying schoolboy.

"Hey now, you two, stop that!" Marceline ordered, a stern look crossing over the deadened features of her face. "You drop that weapon right now, mister, or so God help me, I will remove it from your possession, along with your hand. Understood?" She was glaring calmly at the pursuer, who had stopped mid run as she yelled at him, and dropped his weapon after the threat. "Good boy! Now, inform me of your situation because it's clear that I'm not entirely understanding why a child, chasing another child, is holding a weapon. So, please, do tell why you are trying to kill this here little boy, when you two should be making friends with each other." When no response came from either of the two tykes, the woman tapped her foot lightly against the concrete of the sidewalk. "Don't make me count to three. . . I will count to three. . ." Marcy threatened after another moment of silence.

Once again, a moment of silence passed over them and she sucked in a deep breath, now angrily glaring at the chaser. "One. . ." she began, speaking in a low, very threatening voice to the preteen, crossing her arms over her chest. "Two. . ." Still no answer came as the two children willfully eyed each other, out of fear, the other out of hatred. "Thre—" Marceline was about to finish saying the word when the child behind her had burst out crying as he explained.

"All I did was say a few things to him and it got out of hand, and he got all riled up after what  I said and started chasing after me. I only said what I said because of what the boss told me to do! It was all the Boss's fault for making me say those things! I didn't want to do it in the first place and I'm really, really, really, really sorry about it all. . . please forgive me, Miss!" the child wailed.

An exasperated sigh escaped her lips and she looked over to the minor who was speaking for the two of them. "Listen here, you two. . . you are both very young and very lively children, but you should not be fighting each other like this. If you want to battle and kill each other, then join a guild that does that kind of stuff and you'll be much happier that way. This is not the right way to go; your mothers are all so worried about you children getting into heaps of mess because of your little gangs. Cut the gangs out or face the consequences like big boys, that being said, either enjoy your childhood or expect a life in jail. Now, which is it that you two want? Do you want to spend your time with family and friends or spend time in jail with very little visiting hours?" Her eyes darted between the two, expecting to get an answer from one or both of them, but only getting silence. Marcy sighed.
