Watch the world burn ([Job] Roku/Uriel)

A light yawn left the lips of auburn haired man as he moved towards the farm that was mentioned on the job posting in the guild. It had seemed easy enough from the sound of it. Just wanted a farm burnt to the ground, and the farmer dealt with. Part of him wondered exactly what the farmer had done to actually grab the ire of the other farmers, but that wasn't his position to question.

His eyes skimmed out tiredly as he stopped at the gate of the farm awaiting the other mage that was supposed to come with him. He didn't know much about the man, of in fact he didn't know much about many people at the guild currently. He only knew stuff about Muttsu, and that was because she came there with him. Maybe he could talk this new guy into giving his sister a chance? As his mind churned through all of this mess, his right hand came down and rested upon the hilt of Velis's blade, and his left hand held the staff of Velis, already extended to be used as a cane.

It was odd that a mage or even a group of mages would be requested to do a job within the neutral grounds as magic seemed to just not work there. But jewels were jewels, and the blonde-haired mage was happy to take someone’ jewels off their hands just to deal with burning down a farm. This was justified in his head as a balance between a corporate Neutral Ground’s farmer, and the less successful rivals looking to balance the trade. This wasn’t meant to be a monopoly after all.
Uriel found himself arriving a bit later than the mage he was sent to be on task with. That said it gave him a chance to eye up the auburn haired man that would be waiting for him. He had a couple of weapons here and there, and seemed intimidating enough for a job like this. He approved!

”Yo,” he casually said as he arrived, holding a jerry can in one hand as if he had already planned ahead in his mind about what they were going to do. ”Looks like a simple job; couldn’t see any defences on the farm at all.” The man must have been clueless that his farm had a hit on it.

Uriel pushed on the gate, holding it for the man who he was to be partnered with. If he was to go through then he would just simple close it afterwards.

”Lead the way, my friend.”

Roku was snapped out of his own thoughts when the blond male appeared. His brow rose for a moment as he twisted the staff, causing it to click and fold in half before sliding it back up into the sling on his back to secure it. His hand stayed on his blade as in the back of his mind the voice of Terra whispered. "He looks like he'd be fun to fight. Maybe you should try to fight him?" She said to him as his hand gripped the handle of the sword for a moment before casting out the thoughts of fighting.

He grinned as he witnessed the jerry can in the man's hand and laughed aloud. "It seems you came prepared." He said as he slipped through the gate that Uriel had opened, heading to down the path. "You go deal with the farm itself. I'll go deal with the farmer. Maybe I'll be lucky, and it'll be one of those manly farmer guys." Roku said dryly as he relayed the directions. He wouldn't give Uriel the chance to say anything else as Roku was already heading down the path to the farm house itself.

It seemed that the man with the weapons wanted to deal with the farmer, while Uriel would instead focus on taking this jerry can, and setting the farm alight. A quick, easy and professional job done pretty precise as not to cause any other fires to any other farms. Might make it look like a happy accident that it just so happened to burst into flames.

”I’ll see you when you’re done with the farmer,” he said before walking towards the fields with his jerry can sloshing around. Something about setting this farm on fire seemed like… fun.

He would take his time just pouring the line of gas across the fields with no care in the world. And with the farmer being dealt with, it meant he had a nice easy job.

When the eventual line of gas was completed, all it would take was a single match and a cigarette placed near the field to make it look like someone was just dumb with their smoking habits. From there the field would become a massive blaze of glory. Super easy.

He glanced back, noticing Uriel going to work with the can as he moved towards the Farmers house. He could already tell by the state of the house that the farmer was old, far beyond his years. Perhaps he could have let Uriel do this after all? I mean, the mage would've been able to deal with farmer man on his own.

The sound of the blade being drawn filled the air before another click as the hilt of the blade is jammed into the top of the staff. A mechanism within the staff causes it to flick outwards, creating a scythe. He would've quickly drawn it from his back entirely before setting the butt of it on the ground. He stood outside of the porch, just in case of the old man coming out.

"Hey who is at m-" carried from the door before an old man carried himself from the house, and witnessed Roku standing there. The man was truly old. It was the type of old that told you he was born and raised in this house, but the moment he saw Roku the man went from Tan to pale in an instant. His heart quickly picked up in rate before falling and dropping completely before stopping working. The man had thought he saw death. "Really...he died? Roku said as he watches the man drop to the ground, now dead.

He turned around from the house, feeling slightly accomplished before walking out to where Uriel was. He noticed that the man had just got done pouring whatever was in the can, and for some reason, it caused his nose to twitch. Before he even got a chance to talk he sneezed. His blessings from Vulcan kicked in for just a moment as a small spark flew from his lips and landed on the line of gas. The flame caught and quickly traveled down before lighting the farm on fire. "Lets....leave, now... Roku said as he turned towards the gate, leaving as fast as possible. He didn't want to be there when the Rune Knights appeared, questioning the death and the fire.
