The very first thing that is noticeable about the girl, is how intelligent she is. Having been an apprentice for a very powerful and respectable sorcerer, she was taught on a daily basis, discovering her love for books and increasing her motivation to learn more about the world. Akane especially knows a lot about magic, even perhaps the rarest of them all — if recognized she'd point it out right away. Although, it is her knowledge of many things that is her strongest point, when it comes to physical attributes, she is not the greatest. Most of the time, the red-head is quite silent, and represents a rather calm demeanour. In fact she doesn't have much of an expression going on for her like most people do. She appears withdrawn, though, is actually quite gentle and kind-hearted. Despite being a bit hesitant with those — usually people — she struggles to express any sort of affection or gratitude towards anyone that cares for her, often acting quite shyly. Though it is her determination that often causes her to respond in these sort of situations. In the line of working — a simple chore or job is very important her. Akane acts responsible in all events, depending on how pressuring they are of course. She works hard to understand what to do, and how to do, strong-willed to the core, where even a few failures will not stop her. Holding a high concern to not harming the feelings of others, occasionally she can be quite blunt with those that are close to her. Or if somebody is questioning her about something, Akane will be extremely honest with them, for it is in her nature not to lie to others. Well, for the most part thats at least what she guessed to be the right choice ever since she was a little girl.
Though the red-head has many good qualities about her, there are a few flaws that are also noticeable within her persona. Not all the time, but... most of the time, Akane struggles to pay attention, often drifting away from reality to her own thoughts and dreams. In other terms, you could call it "zoning out". Either catching her dozing off against one of the desks in the library, or peering up at the large blue sky, seemingly lost in some sort of trance. This follows along with her habit to over-think things. Because she doesn't speak very much, she tends to think much more than most people, often stressing herself out over things that aren't that big of a deal. Akane commonly reminds herself unintentionally of the mistakes she had made, or the things that people have said to her — negative or not. As stated before, she can act quite shyly, or in better terms — withdrawn. It is not like she can really help this, as the red-head is not very open with her feelings nor with socializing with new-faces. Akane is often quite lonely, and commonly does not befriend those unless they approach her and attempt to start a conversation. The only reason she has so many comrades — outside of the guild — is because her teacher introduced her to many of his acquaintances which had taken an interest in her. In-fact some of them were responsible for a lot of the techniques and facts she had acquired about magic. Though, to move onto to the negative aspects of Akane, she additionally can be very clingy or in opposite, run away from her feelings. Its something that is dependable on the situation. Usually, those that treat her like family, she tends to cling onto regarding her history of being abandoned. Originally, her mother, father and brother were all quite happy, until she was abandoned with her mother who became verbally and physically abusive. Anyone that expressed any sort of affection or treated her as family, instinctively caused her to cling onto that warm feeling.
Now onto the act of battling or leadership, Akane usually acts as a follower more than a leader. In battle it is somewhat the same, since her magic is more supportive and defensive rather than something that is used offensively. Actually, she has never landed a strike on anybody, because she has never gathered the courage to hurt others. Though if it means putting somebody out of their misery, she will do whatever she can to help.
Likes:
• A strange sort of liking, but she only likes strawberries and chocolate flavoured things. Anything strawberry flavoured disgusts her, while any sort of actual chocolate bar also disgusts her.
• Books. Books. Books. She enjoys reading just as much as kids enjoy playing video-games. Learning more and extending her range of knowledge is somewhat exciting and amusing to her. Whenever she is doing anything but daydreaming or working, you'll usually catch her reading some place quiet.
• Nature is beautiful. The sound of birds chirping, the tall green trees. Ever since she was a little girl, she has always loved the outdoors. Aware of their dangers, there is a certain charm to the red-head, that allows her to befriend many creatures — dangerous or not. The silence of the woods and the fresh air elate her compared to the large cement cities.
