Mashyuu and Ruri: Stop Thief!

Mashyuu sat on a long fallen tree in the forest. His head was bowed and his eyes were half closed. He was taking deep breaths of air and a light sheen of sweat was covering his arms bare chest and face. His one sleeved jacket rested on his shoulders as did his dragon gloves and golden ring on his hands and finger. The setting sun gleamed on the golden ring as it's echoing voice faded in Masyuu's mind. His training was done for the day and his body was sore and tired. His jaw was grinding as he chewed on a large stone to recover his magical energy. His mind was dulled to his surroundings. All he knew was tall trees were all around him with various wild animals. He could smell birds, foxes and the strange smell of a Cat. He half shrugged his shoulders and swallowed his stone and started to drift off for a swift moment while his body relaxed in the cool air of the forest.

Ruri was watching the earth mage from a tree when it caught her eye. The solid gold ring that resembled a dragons claw, it looked like it would make her rich. She decided to continue following the mage to see how close she could get to him. She stops and jumps from a tree silently landing behind him. She lets her cat instincts take over and she runs a fast as possible and pulls the ring off his finger before he could move.

Mashyuu don- His ring started to shout at the Earth Wizard as he dozed off. Suddenly something grabbed his ring finger and yanked hard. Mashyuu woke up and watched a figure dart off into the forest. Mashyuu snarled and took a three point stance then launched himself off into the forest after her. He rushed past trees and bushes, his superior speed allowing him to gain on the thief who thought they could get one of Mashyuu's most prized possessions.

She sense him gaining on her and she jumps into the trees. "Jeez he is fast." She jumps from tree to tree staying ahead as much as possible, but she soon starts getting tired and slowing down. "Damn if I keep this up I'm gonna pass out." She says to herself. She decides to give up and lay in a tree for a little while falling asleep.

Mashyuu continued to chase the scent until he saw something launch itself up into the trees. Swiftly he followed the figure until he came to stand above her while she was sleeping. He glared down at the beautiful Cat like woman. Her tail swaying in her sleep while her hand clasped his ring. Mashyuu reached down and grabbed the ring, placing it on his finger firmly. He looked down at her and scooped the woman up in his arms. "Off to the rune knights with you." He whispered and dropped out of the tree with her.

She jolts awake and looks at the handsome earth wizard carrying her. "W-where are you going to take me?" She whines her ears her flat against her head and her tail twitching slightly. She was almost in tears and couldn't fight because she was out of breath and tired.

Mashyuu looked down at her while he walked through the forest with anger surging through him. "I'm taking you to the Rune Knights. You tried to take something very valuable from me. And you are a Wizard right? I can sense magic in you." Mashyuu stepped over a large log and sat her down upon it. "You can walk right? I don't want to carry you the entire time. Folks will think we are together."

"I didn't know what else to do. I can never finish a job so I have no money. I'm starving and have no place to live." She whines and holds her head tears flowing from her eyes. "I decided since I'm stealthy I will just be a thief, so I left my guild and moved into this forest." She cries and her ears were flat against her head she had tail in her lap.

Mashyuu set her down on her feet and held her shoulders firmly. "First stop crying... Second Stealing isn't the way. Aren't you part of a guild? Ask them to help you finish a job. If you aren't part of a guild join one and go from there. Most of them offer a place to stay if you need it. All you have to do is actually work. I won't turn you in but I don't want to see you hanging around here anymore do you understand?" Mashyuu said while his blue eyes darted around. This could have been a trap and the last thing the Earth Wizard wanted was to be ambushed.

The neko nods firmly. "Thank you. I'm not in a guild anymore. I don't know any good guilds. I have been alone for so long I have lost all communication with wizard guilds." She tries to hide a smirk by looking away acting shy. "I hope you don't mind me asking, but aren't you part of a guild?" She asks. "I noticed that you have a guild mark, but I don't recognize it." She jumps into a tree and sits in the shadows but still looks at him. "I am a wizard, but my magic is a bit different from normal wizards."

Mashyuu couldn't help but smirk at the neko as she admitted that she had no guild to join nor did he magic function like others but the way she seemed to notice the guild mark hidden under his shirt and jacket made Mashyuu raise a brow sharply. "How did you know I was in a guild?" Mashyuu asked while walking around to look at her in the tree. He could see her just fine thanks to his slayer senses. Something was wrong with her and it was starting to get to Mashyuu. Mashyuu looked over the woman in all black and a revealing top and half smiled. "Look, I gotta run. You take care of yourself sweetie." Mashyuu said swiftly and started to walk away.

"Wait. You asked how I knew you had a guild mark. Because I can see through your shirt. I can also tell that your weary about me now." She smirks. "Is it because your worried that I have people waiting to ambush you, or maybe its because I'm a sexy cat women that is showing off." She jumps out of the tree doing a back flip and landing on her feet. "I know what your flaws, your fears, your likes and dislikes, I know everything about you because off my magic type." She smirks and walks closer to him.

Mashyuu froze in place. How could she know about him? How could she see through his shirt and jacket. "How do you know about me? What kind of magic do you use?" Mashyuu asked and took a step back from her, not wanting to let the Neko get closer to him in case of an attack. She was being very silent and he didn't know what to make of her.

Smirks. "Its a magic no one knows but my family. My family have been able to look at person and see everything, from their fears to their likes and dislikes. I know you use Earth magic and that you are apart of the Sabertooth guild." She smirks now realizing that he is in the same guild as her father was. She continues walking closer to him. "Are you scared of me? Are you scared that I might attack you?"

"Is that right? Well sweetie I can handle myself just fine in a fight. If you were to attack me I promise you won't be happy with how that turns out." Mashyuu replied while she drew closer. His fists clenched and his legs slipped into a stance showing he was ready to fight. He snarled at her and watched her every move carefully so he could counter whatever she might do.

"I'm not stupid enough to fight a dragonslayer. Especially one that uses earth magic." She stops just close enough to whisper in his. "I must admit you are the hottest wizard I have met so far." Her ears and tail twitch as she circles him slowly. "I am looking for a guild if you have any ideas for me, that is if you want to help me."

Mashyuu blushed as the woman got close to him and whispered into his ear. He watched as she circled him and he swallowed. "Yeah, I'm really good looking I know. Join Sabertooth if you think your strong. If not Blue Pegasus is always looking for cuties." Mashyuu commented while lowering his arms down to not hit her. He felt like maybe she was just a curious cat after all and not one for combat.

"I think I will join Sabertooth." She smiles and walks away from him. "Well I'm going to go now. I will be seeing you again very soon." She jumps in a tree and gets ready to jump again but the branch she is on breaks and she falls screaming.

Mashyuu nodded and waved goodbye to her as she jumped up and fell. Mashyuu rushed under her and extended his arms, easily catching the babe. His knees bent as his arms grasped her legs and shoulders, cradling her. "You are a little clumsy aren't you?" Mashyuu asked while looking her in the eyes. The Wizard grinned but something wouldn't let her put her down.

She nods blushing slightly. "Yes I am." She looks in his eyes and blushes more. "I-I have been told that a lot." She giggles shyly. "Would you like to take me to Sabertooth?" She smiles and her eyes sparkle as she asks hoping he will say yes. "If you want..."

"I can do that... Take you to Sabertooth. But you should really get out of my arms... Unless you want me to carry you the entire way. And it's a long trip." Mashyuu replied while walking through the forest to take her to Sabertooth. "Do you have a name or am I just supposed to call you babe?" Mashyuu asked.

"My name is Ruri. Ruri Takame. I can walk unless you want to carry me." She giggles softly and looks in his eyes. Her eyes were a sparkling blood red color, like a vampire but she wasn't a vampire. She was indeed the daughter of the famous Takame couple of Sabertooth, but ever since they died their name did as well. She decided that if she joins the Sabertooth guild she will bring their name glory again.
