Name: Velis Voluuk, Crux of the Infinite
Rank: Artifact+, Artifact, Legendary
Type: Sword/Scythe
Description: The Velis Voluuk, a weapon from a land that is in no way connected to this world except for two travelers that in one case, wants to go back home. Truthfully Velis Voluuk is technically two weapons. Velis is a scimitar like weapon, the blade itself coming out to 3 feet and 6 inches long, and wide as all scimitars. The handle that Roku would hold is standard sized, but has odd notching in it that go to the core, they seemed to be large enough for something to slip into. The blade of the scimatar is of a metal that is not of this world. It is said to be as strong as titanium, but non-magnetic. To Roku, and possibly Muttsu, the blade is as light as a feather, but to others heavier than a giant axe. The blade gives off an aura that seems to be unnatural, and that is that the blade is capable of rippling at the fabric of space and time. The exact thing that got Roku and Muttsu in this place to begin with.
On Roku’s back, attached by some strange method is the staff of the full weapon form. By bringing Velis back, and jamming it into the head of the staff part, the pole of it extend as Roku retreives what is now a full scythe from his back. The staff of the scythe is made up of a bone of what Roku refers to as an old one. A being that predated what he could remember, and the shrine that held Velis Voluuk. The pole of the weapon is easily 7 feet long, making it a true scythe for Roku to use.
Now what is special about this blade? Well…It’s called the Crux of the Infinite for a reason. The blade has the ability to cut through space, and time. Sending people across to different dimensions with no issue, and doing it wrong can have some nasty side effects. I.E getting you and your darling sister stuck in a world that you don’t belong in.
This weapon was given to Roku upon the day that he was recognized as a descendant of Vulcan, and began to train in the arts, using this weapon as the medium for his style.

This weapon was given to Roku upon the day that he was recognized as a descendant of Vulcan, and began to train in the arts, using this weapon as the medium for his style.
Strengths:
- Highly versatile with the ability to swap between a short range weapon, and mid ranged weapon with ease.
- Allows Roku to actually fight easier without having to worry about busting his hands up.
Weaknesses:
- It takes him a moment to swap between the sword form, and the Scythe form.
- If an enemy gets within a certain range of Roku while he’s using his scythe, then there isn’t much he can do.
- The blade only has a single edge, so catching someone on the outer side would do nothing, but deter them for the moment.
Abilities:
- Passives:
Pool of the infinite As long as Roku has Velis on his person in some manner, he is able to pull from another source of magic to fuel his spells. At D-rank, it can cover up to 10% of his max pool. It increases by 10% for each rank afterwards. This pool can’t be restored within the thread.
Chosen Tool: As the name says, this is the chosen tool of Roku, and the only weapon that he naturally uses while not in his Cursed form. As such the manner that Roku uses his scythe does more damage. As his scythe constantly has magic flowing through it, it does damage based on spell damage. This still counts as melee damage despite using a different scale though.
- Active Abilities:
Name: Vulcan’s Grasp
Rank: User Rank
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 2
Description: With a slash of Velis into the air, a gap is sliced from the veil of the universe. From the new hole, two large hands will descend out of it as if Vulcan himself had been called to service by Roku. The hands takes to forming fists each of them being 5 meters wide(+5 for each rank after D), and scaling to still look normal. They rocket out of the hole at a rate of 10 meters per second(+10 for each rank after D), and up to 15 meters(+10 for each rank after D) before making contact. If they make contact with the land, there will be a sizable dent/crater in the ground, and if they make contact with the someone it will deal a single D-rank of damage
Strengths:- Rather simple ability that can either do direct damage, or structural damage due to the size
Weaknesses:- Is a straight forward attack, so can be avoided if you’re fast enough
- Water can cool the fists to just make them stone, leaving it possible for earth slayers to eat it.
Name: Crux of the Infinite
Rank: User Rank
Duration: 4
Cooldown: 5
Description: For when one hears the name of this ability they must understand it in itself is a contradiction. A crux is a focal point of things, while having the center is supposed to be impossible? That is the point. With this ability, when Roku slashes at someone, and lands a blow, he will deliver upon them a mark along with dealing half his rank in spell damage to a person. This mark acts as the crux for a portal to an infinite void. Though the means of the mark prevents the portal from opening, instead each turn that the mark exists on the person they take a quarter of his rank in spell damage as the mark feeds back in on itself, and thus attacking them. Once the duration of the mark is done, it fades from them, leaving a nasty scar wherever it manifested before in the form of the infinite symbol. Also while under the effects of his ability, those that bear the mark are unable to teleport through any means.
Strengths:- The mark deals constant damage to the person over the duration of the ability, leaving him to be able to hit and run
Weaknesses:- Has to hit them with the blade of the weapon, meaning can’t use the staff part of the scythe
- This doesn’t do alot of damage at once, more of a over time deal, so they might be able to wait out any possible damage, or heal the amount he’s doing
- The anti-teleport ability only works on people of his rank, and lower
Name: Worlds Collide
Rank: User Rank
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 2
Description: Compared to his last two abilities this one is quite simple. With a flourish of the blade in the air, two separate portals are torn open. One of the portals releases a bright white, holy like torrent of flames towards a spot. The other portal is like an eruption of a volcano as rock fly from the holes and go for the same spot. As they both collide with the target, the rock will begin to melt into a magma like state all over the area. The area effected by the combined sides is 7 meters (+5 per rank above D). The portals can fire at a rate of 15 meters per second, and at a max range of 20 meters (+10 for each past D rank)
Strengths:- Because of the structure of the ability, it’s possible to catch people off guard with the two sides joining in an area.
Weaknesses:- Not really a spell that you can use to catch people off guard with
- Heavily choreographed, leaving people to be able to slip away from it if they’re paying attention.
Name: Magma Cleave
Rank: Rank below user (Stopping at D)
Duration: 3 (+2 for every rank after D)
Cooldown: Always 1 more than the duration
Description: This is the only ability of Velis that requires her to be in her scythe state. The blade at the activation of this ability shifts to a charcoal black color before it began to warp. The tip of the scythe curves down wards, the entire thing staying equally sharp while the back end of the blade becomes pointed. Cracks begin to appear across the blade and let of a light red glow as if magma existed below the new form. While in this form any attack from the scythe will deal an extra 1.5 the abilities rank per strike on a person along with normal damage, along with the chance to scar with the intense heat. When the duration for the spell ends, the additions of the blade will crumble from the blade, leaving it looking as it had before.
Strengths:- Useful when dealing with a large foe, or a large group of enemy
Weaknesses:- Useless in small places, or places with not enough room
- Can only be used in the scythe state.
- Rather simple ability that can either do direct damage, or structural damage due to the size
- Plot ability:
Dimensional Travel: Velis is able to slice into the fabric of space, and time creating a one way passage from point A to point B, allowing him and a small group to pass through as to lessen travel time or expenses to their destination. The only draw back to this is that either he has to be looking at a map of the surrounding area, or have been there before. This can only be used as a plot ability. No PVP usage.
