- Shikō-ō is a single-handed sword, so a two-handed weapon surely will knock it down.

Description: Upon physical contact between Shikō-ō and the enemy, a shining white light will appear over the enemy's body. This white light will immediately burst, causing an explosion over the enemy's body. This explosion does not kill the enemy, but leaves severe wounds throughout the body and inflicts B-Ranked damage.
Strengths:- Activation and resolve are instant
- Quick and efficient- Unless the opponent is buffed, this tactic should be inevitable.
- The severe wounds inflicted upon the enemy's body afterwards may affect movement or loss of feeling in certain muscles.
Weaknesses:- Damage is halved for fire users because explosions involve fire already; an element fire users are already used to.
- Holds no affect or damage against enemies of A-Ranked status or higher.
- Light-based or fire-based slayers may eat the components of the explosion before it detonates.
- For this to work, the sword must make physical contact with the enemy first.

Description: With a simple swing of the sword, a heavenward sea out of nowhere covers land within a 20-meter radius of the user. The user is immune to the effects of the sea and can breathe under it, though others are not as fortunate. This sea is strictly black acid water. Those who inhale the water, unless they specialize in the element (or anything superior to water), will become delusional. Anything a victim of this black acid water sees realistically occurs oppositely. For example, if a victim believes they are receiving an attack towards the front of their body while under this water, realistically, that same attack is coming not towards their front side, but from their rear. This black acid water shows no sight of the outside world unless an enemy realizes the state of mind has put them through. Otherwise, the alternative ending to this black acid water is its duration.
Strengths:- Delusional ability gives the user time to form tactics while a victim(s) struggles to get their senses straight.
- Activation and resolve of this heavenward sea is instant upon the swing of Shikō-ō.
- Cancels any fire-based attacks ranked C or below due to the heavy sea.
Weaknesses:- Superior Elements- Those who specialize in superior elements can use their specific element to grant themselves an escape route from this sea before it affects them.
- While this ability is active, the other ability of Shikō-ō cannot be used.
- In order to keep the user immune to the black acid water, the user cannot use spells while within it.
- The user cannot use Oblivion's Might, a fire-based lineage while under this sort of water.
- Delusional ability gives the user time to form tactics while a victim(s) struggles to get their senses straight.
