History: Zacharius lived as an only child with his mother and father in Magnolia. He was very bright and read many books about magic. He always wanted to be a mage. Little did he know that wish was going to be answered in a way he would not like. At the age of ten, a mage from one of the dark guilds attacked his home. The mage tried to take Zacharius's favorite book, but was stopped by his father. The mage killed Zacharius's father and mother and started to run away with the book. Zacharius, overcome by rage and grief suddenly moved the shadows of two nearby buildings and smashed the man in the middle. He retrieved the book which was somehow still in one piece. He realized that he no longer had a home and no one to protect him. He figured that his only hope was to join Fairy Tail. He knew he would be secure there. He went to the guild house and applied. However, because of his age, he couldn't be a full member. He was able to get an agreement to stay there and when the guild master felt he was ready, he would become a member.
After three years of training to gain some control over his magic, he was allowed to be a true member. He now works to help those in need no matter the cost. He still wonders why the book was important and also works to find out.
