    Job:

In all honesty, the Wind Slayer did not feel like doing too much today. A smile on his face as his back laid against the soft cover of his mattress, looking up at the ceiling as nothing was bothering him. No jobs to take on, no paperwork currently waiting for him, and a tanuki who seemed to be out for the moment. This time, he did not care enough to try to look for whatever chaos she was probably causing, instead he would just relax as he knew that he was no involved in it. There truly was no place like him. As for Ignite, she was on her own bed with a blanket wrapped around her own body, reading the articles on Rifles still. The more that she read about those things, the more that she looked like she could handle one. Considering she was with him on their last extreme job, maybe he might let her have a magic rifle of her own. Then again, she did require training. Having knowledge of them was one thing, but having the aim and strength to conceal it without randomly shooting are things she might still need to work on. Elyx would think to himself before turning his head away from her. It was about time he checked the mail, since it has been days since it was collected. So he would smile as got up from his bed, clothed already since it was just barely noon. Once that happened, he would open the door and sit down on the rail of the stairs, letting gravity pull him down since he was too lazy to lift his legs and push them forward a little bit. What? Just because he did some insane things did not mean he was not allowed to be lazy!

Hm? He would open the mailbox in front of his house before seeing a bit of mail in it, nothing really too important. A new job had arrived though, but why should he take it? He'll make it his duty to hang his copy of the job on the job board if Kakuma or any of the other Aces have not done it by the time he got to the Guild Hall. But for now, he would just bend the piece of paper in half and crease it all of the way. Finally, he'd place it into the pocket of his black jeans before looking at the sky. What a great day it was, so being productive was definitely out of the list of things that he should be doing. Instead, he could just go inside and sleep the day away, a waste some might say, Iza definitely would agree, but rest was blissful. Almost as blissful as life itself.

Kakuma had was again screwing around in her office, again making more crazy devices. She didn't really have any plans other then taking the day off, not that she had done anything in the past few weeks to warrent a real break. Kakuma had not been on a guild job for quite some time and Sophie had made her displeasure known, not that Kakuma cared much. She was building another explosive device when she heard the clacking footsteps of Sophie. Kakuma sighed and put down her her new invention and turn around, right as the door opened.

"Kakuma! you can't just..." Sophie stopped as she noticed Kakuma was already facing her, Sophie sighed and spoke again. "You need to get out there and do something, your the face of this guild and you need to make a good impression."

Kakuma rolled her eyes, only for now, she had no intention of remaining guild master. "Fine Fine..." Kakuma had gotten a new set of job notices to put up today, she walked to her desk and started flipping through them. She found one that she found acceptable and handed it to Sophie. "Me and Elyx will be doing the job."

Sophie took the job notice and studied it. "Are you forcing Elyx to go or does he know already?" Sophie looked up at Kakuma only to see her grin, this leveled another sigh from Sophie. "Figures... Fine ill send notice out that you two have accepted this job... Try to find Elyx quickly please." Sophie side stepped Kakuma as she charged out of the room in her wolf form. "Well i just hope Elyx can handle her... and her craziness." Sophie sighed once more and exited the office closing the door.

Kakuma ran through the guild hall following her nose trying to find Elyx, a lot of guild members had to dive out of the way as she ran full sprint through the guild hall. Nobody complained or yelled after her, not anymore, they understood that this was a regular occurrence so nobody raised a fuss. She headed out into the street and made right for his scent, which seemed to be coming from his house. she came down the street at full speed, she came to a stop in front of his house and looked down at the man. "get on... we have a job to do." Kakuma knelt down so he could get on.

Do I dare look back? Try to make a break for it in the house? He thought to himself, not even knowing what the sound behind him was, but it certainly was loud. Then again, if Iza were in his house in whatever giant form she was in, she would only create chaos in the homes due to her insane obsession with trying to spite him, which in some instances worked better than others. So feeling as there was no choice, his back would turn around before seeing the Guildmaster herself in her wolf form arriving. And now what could she possibly want with him? The last time they were together, he was a Lerale mage. After he was a Lerale mage, he learned what it meant to be a Swordsman, and right after that he ended up being a Wind Deity Slayer. All of that happened right before they saw each other. The distance between time was probably with his time spent on the Mountains where he had to survive on top of a giant Beehive before battling Adrelissa, now currently his friend and residing in the guild, and making it all the way to the bottom. It probably was also his battle with Arianna and Diablos, how much fun that job was. Regardless, he was here now, and had been for a couple of days. Two days of rest after those two jobs was not quite considered resting time, but here he was, right? Kakuma wanted him to go onto a job, where he was barely prepared for anything. No items or anything, nothing to prepare himself for the job. It was Kaku after all, it must have been an important job. And for her to suddenly do this, did she dare try to take an aim for when he was open for jobs and when he was supposed to be resting. Well, he would go, but not without preparing himself first.

Returning back from the inside of his home, he would be equipped with his regular battle clothing, since most important jobs required him to slay enemies. And since it was one where someone of almost matching power as him had to acompany him, he could expect some nasty bosses. All right, just for this once, though his body was not quite in its fullest state, he felt ready enough to go. No Ignite this time though, Kaku can force him onto a job at moments notice surely, but she definitely can't force Ignite. Climbing onto the back of the She Wolf, he would secure himself before holding onto the scruff so that he did not fall off. And since I have no idea what is going on, you are definitely going to be informing me.

Kakuma shifted her shoulders as Elyx climbed on, only really trying to shift him a bit to where he would not restrict her movement. She stood up and took off at full sprint, hunching low to become as streamlined as she could, she had very little time to make the boat to their first destination. She would have to explain later, Kakuma ran as hard and as fast as she could the crowds in the streets parting for her as she ran. She had to jump over some people and go around others, people seemed a bit put off but few would say anything upon realizing who it was. Kakuma could see the port now as well as their boat, unfortunately it was pushing away from the dock, Kakuma huffed and put a extra burst of speed on.

"We are late, I'm going to have to jump onto the boat hold on!"

Kakuma called out, unsure if Elyx had heard her, she could only hope as she reached the dock then the end of it in quick succession. She jumped as high and as far as she could, she heard the crew of the ship call out and some cussed as they dived out of the way of the big white wolf. Kakuma landed hard on the deck, skidding to a halt digging furrows into the deck of the ship. Kakuma knelt down and tossed Elyx off of her back, changing form she flopped on the deck and breathed heavily for a minute or so, simply resting. She could hear the crew bitching and whining at what she had just done and she could hear the footsteps of what she figured was the captain.

"Kakuma... your late... and you damaged my ship."

Kakuma blinked as a shadow overtook her sight and she looked back to see a very large, grizzled old man. She grinned and rolled over, pushing herself to her feet she stood up. The man gave her a very serious look as she did.

    "Bill me..."

The old man narrowed his eyes then burst out laughing, the crew looked very confused now. Most of them had never seen this woman and here she was just talking back to their captain like it was no big deal.

"Well its good to see you have not changed one bit. I hear tell that your some kind of big shot now?"

Kakuma chuckled and nodded. "yeah you have heard of Black Rose right?" Kakuma saw the man nod, she smiled and continued. "Well... I'm the Guild Master." The old man chuckled again and motioned for her to follow. "So how are you Grillos?"

The old man shrugged and walked to his cabin with Kakuma in tow. "Not bad, i thought it was weird that a Major city like Lavintir would contact some old pirate for work... now i know why." Grillos had been a well known pirate some years ago but had stopped once he got busted by Kakuma in a job.

"Oh you... guild guy you come with too. "Grillos waited until both Kakuma and Elyx were in his cabin before sitting down. "well then... so why was it so damn Important that we go to Shadow island? I mean your guild paid me well to go there with a lot of supplys and then tell me their is someone coming and you show up late... explain please"

Seems like he was not going to be getting the explanation she needed, but instead she would just adjust his body so that he did not act as some sort of restriction on her. So the most he would do was just hold on as he went for a ride, but surprisingly enough, he did not have any trouble with keeping up with her pace. Despite it being a bit bumpy, there were things much worse in force than this, his physical strength being able to take such pressure now. The thought alone placed a smile on his face, his light brown eyes not even phased by all of the wind around him. Sky Deity Slayer, maybe that was the reason why he was not phased by any of this. That worked in his favor though, he was not once the violinist that had to constantly hold onto his violin, and if it were to accidentally fall and break... Whoops, no magic for him.

It would have not survived the next action, but his senses were full well raised, he was able to hear her voice more than clearly through all of the force. And so the launch would occur onto the ship, which would not have too much effect onto him anymore. With his medallion and recent experiences, the most he could feel from water was just a bit of uneasiness, but it does not acts as a fear anymore. Alcore could be the reason for that, and if he was... That was well played, the Yucai did him well. Upon landing onto the ship, Kakuma would try to toss him off of her. He did let go, but was not quite as graceless as he might have once been. So he would land onto his feet, placing both of his hands in his pockets.

So a conversation would spark with the both of them, some man and Kaku that seemed to have known each other. The Slayer did not want to know of how that happened, since there were many possibilities on the spectrum of both good and bad. This man, "Grillos" invited Elyx alongside Kaku anyways. It's not like the Sky Slayer would have been stopped regardless if he had permission or not, so it did not really mean much to him to hear that he could come along as well. He'd only cross his arms when that remark had been told to him. What did spark his interest was when the man had asked about why they had to go to "Shadow Island", an area that he himself had no experience with. But there was one thought that ran through his mind however, and understandably so. That is exactly what I am wondering... What? It was not like he had received an explanation before? And if he did not get one soon, he'll stop the whole expedition just to ask. If refusal was shown, Elyx felt the confidence to refuse to continue any further. Wow, Alcore really did put a new persona onto him, but it felt kind of great admittedly.

Post by Kakuma Blackflower 26th June 2016, 4:33 am

Kakuma yawned and sat on the end of the old mans desk, leaning back and looking at the roof. She sighed and thought about how she was going to explain it to the two, Elyx would most likely be all for it but Grillos would most likely be a bit miffed that she was putting his ship in danger. Kakuma huffed and pulled out the notice... ,which she had been keeping in between her breasts, setting it down in front of Elyx for him to read. She then reached across Grillos's desk and picked up a piece of paper and a ink pen. She wrote out what basicly made up of a promise to pay any damages the Grillos, his men and his ship my get. She signed at the bottom of the sheet and set it face down waiting for Elyx to finish reading. When he did she would motion to the old captian so that Elyx could pass it along. Kakuma stood up and wandered about the room as Grillos read the paper, his eyes getting widers the farther he read.

"Kakuma... please tell me your kidding..." Grillos set the paper down and looked right at Kakuma. Kakuma swished her tail and looked right at the old man, whom frowned and sighed. "and what of any..." Kakuma pointed to the face down paper, cutting him off. Grillos sighed and flipped over the paper and read it, after a few minutes he sighed again and set the paper down. "sometimes Kakuma... you scare me..."

"Oh? i scare the big bad pirate? what would your men think?" Kakuma put the back of her hand against her forehead as if showing her woes about the situation. Grillos simply glared at her. Kakuma smiled and righted herself. "so are my term acceptable?" The old man nodded and stood up, opening his mouth to speak. "The cargo is a AI Combat unit by the name of C.A.S.S.I.E as well as a large sum of supplys." Kakuma knew what he would ask before hand, he always asked.

"Always on the ball..." Grillos walked out of the cabin, clearly annoyed, he was 69 years old and had just been played like a fiddle by a 19 year old. "Alright gents we got a job and its gonna be dangerous, but the pay is great if your a coward get off... if you want to make some jewel... HOIST THE COLORS AND LETS GET MOVING!"

Kakuma walked to the cabin door and leaned against the door watching as the men of the ship went about readying the ship. She smiled, she knew how to play men like Grillos... most only cared about jewel and the risk in obtaining more of it. She had made this easy for him... she had offered to replace anything damaged, to Reimburce anything used during the fight and to pay them in advance... all in all the job was minimal risk to them other than their lives... Kakuma watched as a Black Flag with a Skull on it was hoisted, not a pirates flag but that of a bounty hunters. She smiled again, turning Grillos from pirate to bounty hunter had been easy, but he had not joined BR like she had wanted. "well so begins a grand adventure!" Kakuma yawned and walked over to a corner. "Time for a nap."
