How to use fire in a world without magic...(JOB/Solo)

Yuzuki snatched the job form up immediately after reading it, grinning immensely. She'd never really tried any "dark" jobs before, due to them apparently being dangerous for your reputation as a mage, but she knew she could. And honestly, this job sounded fun, her type of task. She grinned toothily, letting strands of burning moonlight creep out from under her sleeve. The threads engulfed her hand, turning it into a burning torch of sorts, the cold white fire flickering eerily. In the dim light of the alleyway. She was going to get to BURN things! Brimming with excitement, Yuzuki stuffed the sheet of paper into her belt compartment, and was bounding out the alley after a few seconds, obviously exhilarated.

Leaping up the nearest telephone pole, Yuzuki let out a whoop, and leapt to the next. Her laughter travelled throughout the gloomiest alleyways of Talonia, the place she lived in for now, and a thin trail of moonfire followed. Yuzuki stopped outside the Neutral Grounds, unsure of what she would find inside. She had heard that magic wasn't much use inside... But who knew? Honestly, the semi-fey doing care too much for magic, but used it for her job as a mage. Then, in one decisive move, she crossed the line, and suddenly felt a huge change inside her. Something seemed to be missing, or blocked, and Yuzuki knew it had to be her magic. Her stomach twisted, and some of the semi-fey's confidence dwindled.

Gulping, Yuzuki made her way to the stated location, making her way to a large farm. The fields of crops spread all over, and a farmer suddenly ran out in front of her. "Excuse me, Ms. Mage, were you the one who accepted the job?" he asked nervously. Yuzuki nodded cheerfully, and gave him the job form. He gave her a pouch of coins, shoving them into her palms as if they were poison so frantically that the girl had to check if the. jewel was enough. Nodding in satisfaction, Yuzuki approached Mr. Jekis' fields pulling two chunks of flint from her belt. She began to strike them together the old-fashioned way, then heard an annoyingly shrill voice yelling at her.

"Heyyyy! Git off me fields! Git off! Git!" the annoying voice of a human came up to the girl, causing her to groan in annoyance. With a tired sigh, Yuzuki lifted her spear tip, and a very angry and confused farmer was dangling at the tip. Pearly white and deadly sharp teeth exposed themselves in a grin, and Mr. Jekis went flying from the tip of Katsuki's sharp point. Smiling in satisfaction, Yuzuki carried on with the Flint, managing to light every field of crops on fire.

Pocketing the flint chunks in the end, the semi-fey scurried out of the Neutral Lands as fast as her legs could carry her, and was once more at home with the ethernanos in the air. With a sigh, Yuzuki told herself she'd not be going back there anytime soon, for sure!
