Aien is very laid back for someone who would willingly join a dark guild just because it aligns of what he personally likes the most. He seems bored for the most part, but Aien is not anti-social since he will enjoy a pleasant conversation. What happened in the battlefield stays in the battlefield, and so he could be fighting against a wizard from Fairy Tail and yet willing to sit down having a chat with the very same person. Hobbies is something Aien would encourage on finding during their free time that's outside of training magic and such. An artist at heart, Aien tries to inspire productive activities not just for their acknowledgement nor accept any reward from it. The only reward Aien seeks is if they have found themselves that's outside of battle and away from influential individuals, groups, and more.
Fighting is something Aien always loved to do and is always eager for a challenge both as a wizard and as a fighter in general. Under someone's order Aien would be reluctant to follow them unless they align some kind of interest for him. Such as fighting somebody equivalent to his strength and even those who are stronger than he is. Aien of course is no leader nor would he ever volunteer to be a leader. He follows what he wants and enjoys the freedom bestowed upon him. When fighting Aien finds it disgraceful to be involved in a one-sided battle that he's on and would get bored of being on that side. Alternatively, he fights with everything he has available no matter if the opponent doesn't even have magic or is more powerful than the Guild Master.
Some say Aien is honorable in a certain few perspectives. Others might say he's cruel and merciless. Aien is not the type to be soft during combat or even outside of combat. If he sees something wrong or off Aien won't press on the matter unless it affects the mission or anything major related tasks. If the situation were to arise Aien will attempt to correct it or point out the flaw for it to be fixed. In any case, such is the human behavior if tension runs high that there's a chance Aien might snap verbally and could lead to physical conflict.
Discretion to the point of petty grudges or even assassinations that are against reason is something that Aien frowns upon. Of course anything that affects his or other people's freedom is also something that he personally dislikes. If Aien wants to use his magic in the middle of a village he'll very much would oblige himself because it is his freedom to use what it rightfully bestowed upon Aien. Curses are something he isn't fond of especially if it disables one's magic from being used. To Aien, as a fellow mage, taking away the individual's magic is very much like taking an axe to chop off the thief's hand. Perhaps this is his creed where Aien, though still young, chooses to follow his own path despite what rules might try to hinder Aien's feet.

- Combat - Fighting is something that Aien finds joy in no matter if it is just a spar or a battle to the death.
- Art - Aien has a soft spot for art since he views it both inspirational and finding themselves.
- Water - The water flowing down the river are always soothing in Aien's mind.
Dislikes:
- Weaklings - Aien can't improve if his opponents are weak. It's his way of viewing how much growth he has left before Aien can truly call himself strong.
- Lost - This term goes in a deeper level than not knowing where you're going. Aien dislikes it when his opponent has lost their sense of self, filled with regret and drowning in their own guilt. Aien wants to fight someone who has found their creed, their beliefs strong within their minds, and their resolve firm with those said beliefs.
- Restricted - The main thing Aien is going to dislike is when someone tells him that Aien can't do something merely because they have the authority to do so. He loathes those who throw their reputation and titles around to get their results no matter how righteous or how menacing it can be.
Motivations:
- Improving - Growth is constant in the cycle of life and death. Whether the improvement is considered as a minor change of perspective or a great alteration of how Aien wields his magic in general. Aien is more motivated when he views the goals set before him as improvement.
- Combat - Nothing brings Aien more joy than fighting a worthy opponent. Perhaps it is the cursed bloodline running through his veins, but combat has always brought a thrill in his heart as passion floods in his mind. As a fighter combat is his form of entertainment, his lifestyle, and most of all how Aien thrives.
- Philosophy - Aien encourages people to stop being other people's lapdogs by blindly obeying everything they're being told. Motivation is key to improving themselves both finding what they want and what they are trying to achieve. Whether that's going by the gentle approach or settling it through fists and magic. Of course even to this day Aien is finding more about himself and finding what he wants in life.

- Arachnophobia - Hey, spiders are really scary. Especially when hundreds of little babies are crawling around the mother's body. That's like... so many eyes.
- Paranoid - Paranoid people will do practically anything to keep them alive and safe from what they fear most. Anyone would be smart to be wary of them if not fear these people since they're capable of anything no matter what their mouths spew out with words and empty promises.
- Death - Aien can't afford to die so early when he hasn't fulfilled his desires. This goes for other people too since Aien finds it a waste of potential talent of either magic, craft, art, or even leadership.
