Blue Lagoon (Job)

The smell of water was heavy in the air in Hosenka town, it was a place that was famous for its hot springs and you could smell the steam at all times. Another problem, though, that Mitsuo instantly noticed was the fact that the town also smelled heavily of wet fur. He had been told that there had been a group of creatures from Seven that had taken a liking to the town and Mitsuo had been asked to go and deal with them. He didn't personally mind them being there, though it was probably because he didn't really ever go to the town and had never taken advantage of their hot springs before. He walked through the town towards one of the more popular springs, his cloak flowing behind him as he walked, the Fairy Tail symbol printed on the sleeves of his coat and the back of the cloak both very visible, as were the swords he carried on him.

As the sun reflected off of the water of the springs Mitsuo realized how tranquil of a place this was. He could see the appeal of coming here for a vacation and a little bit of rest and relaxation. He could see himself coming here with a book and just enjoying himself, but that wasn't his goal this time. He kept an eye out, looking for some of the creatures that he had been told were here to send them packing back to Seven. He didn't know what kind of ruckus they were causing, but he had a job to do, and that was all that mattered...

Mitsuo made his way towards the hot springs, looking around and trying to spot who he was looking for. The steam was messing with his sense of smell and he couldn't see anything past it either. If needed he could rely on his hearing, but at the moment it wasn't doing him any good. He searched for a little while before not being able to find anybody and deciding it would be a good time to soak while he waited. He walked to an empty spring and stripped off his clothing, keeping it nearby so that if he needed to grab his weapons he could do so quickly. Once he was completely undressed he stepped into the water, going slowly at first before sliding himself in and completely submerging himself beneath the water. When he crowned again he knew why people loved this. It felt great to simply sit and relax like this in the water, and Mitsuo was truly relaxed right now.

As he sat he looked around and tried to keep an eye out for movement or anyone who might be around him. He kept one hand resting on the hilt of his blade, making sure that it was close by and feeling more comfortable with it in his grip. As he sat in the spring he heard sounds approaching him, assuming there was a good chance it would be one of the people he had come here to find, though not one hundred percent sure. As he held the sword in his hand he pulled it closer and used his other hand to position himself to get out of the water and face whatever it was...

'Monster Dice' :

He could hear the sounds of laughter walking towards him, looking ahead and seeing three massive figured approaching him. They looked to be about seven feet tall, easily dwarfing Mitsuo. As he quickly got out of the springs and stood before the large bears he pulled the sword and prepared to fight, noting that when they got closer to him they stopped laughing and spoke; "Hey guys, check out this cub!" One of them motioned towards him, clearly beginning to speak once more before Mitsuo cut him off, running at him quickly and with one clean slice taking the pointing arm off of him. The bear made a loud roaring whining sound unlike anything Mitsuo had ever heard before as the other two came at him. One of them managed to hit him with a massive paw, his sword cutting into the other before being knocked back slightly by the blow. He turned back around to the other one and jumped up, bringing his blade down into his shoulder, cleaving down and causing the massive animal to pass out from the pain. The other two were even more angry now and Mitsuo could see them casting, large pieces of earth flying towards him as he had to quickly dodge and block with his sword. Making the bears angry probably wasn't his smartest idea, and he was naked to boot making it all the more awkward, but he knew that he would have to deal with them in order to get out of this place alive...

The bear that Mitsuo had slashed already made its way towards Mitsuo, lumbering over him as he brought the sword up once more, preparing to block an attack. The bear moved to swat with one paw and to bite with the other, Mitsuo dodging the swat and bringing his blade up to block the incoming bite instead, butting the blade into his mouth as it came through the back of his skull, killing the bear fairly instantly as he fell to the ground, Mitsuo avoiding the fall and pulling the blade free of his skull. The final bear was somehow nowhere to be seen but Mitsuo would feel him as he charged into him, knocking him off of his feet. He felt extremely exposed as he fell to the ground, making sure he didn't lose grip of his sword as the bear charged at him. He waited for a second, playing possum until the bear was close and then getting up to slash out the back of its knees. The bear would fall to its knees and Mitsuo would bring the sword once more through its neck, causing the head to roll off of the bear's shoulders and Mitsuo to be left standing. He quickly found his clothes and redressed, assuming more would be coming soon as the bears had made a lot of sound...

'Monster Dice' :

He could hear more of them, several more in fact. There were at least ten more creatures making their way towards him, their footfalls and chatter making it very obvious. One nice thing about fighting creatures from Seven was the fact that you could pretty much always hear them if they were coming towards you. He kept his sword at the ready, watching to see if he could spot them, the creatures nearing him finally coming into view and revealing that they looked like woodland creatures. He smirked as he saw them coming near, watching as small trees began to form beneath a couple of them. Impressive, he thought to himself as he ran towards the nearest one, keeping an eye out at the ground and jumping up as spikes of wood appeared from beneath him. As he jumped he rolled at the same time, his blade flashing and cleaving cleanly through one of the creatures, noting that they were much easier to slice than the bears were. He looked towards the rest of them and cracked his neck, watching as a small forest seemed to be forming before his eyes. He hoped that the spa owner wouldn't get too mad at him for this...

There were still several more coming at him and Mitsuo held no dillusion that this would be a simple task. The small forest they had created gave them cover and made them far more difficult to find. Mitsuo nad to strain to find them, rushing into the thick of the "woods" as spikes began to shoot from the trees towards him. Their magic was impressive and actually quite beautiful and, perhaps most frustrating of all, it was extremely quick. Mitsuo began tearing down the trees as he went, trying to make sure they wouldn't have anything to strike him with, sword easily cutting through the weak spikes that came towards him. As he sliced his way through he saw one of the creatures fall from the trees, slicing through it quickly and finding another near him which he decapitated with a swift fluid blow. One of the spiked made its way into his right shoulder and he winced slightly, cutting it free and continuing on his way. He had to finish them off quickly, the longer the battle went on the more it favored them in their own habitat. He spotted another one and jumped up into the tree towards it, slicing through it and getting a better view of the field of battle at the same time.

From his position he could pinpoint the locations of most of the enemies that he had remaining. There were six left and they were all hiding high in the trees, Mitsuo spoting all but one. He launched himself from the tree that he was in, slicing through another and watching as a squirl creature fell from the top of it. Mitsuo's foot planted on the next tree past that one and shot u, blade aiming to go straight through the squirl as it brought a wood pillar up from the ground that Mitsuo would have to slice through instead. All the while he was having to slice through more and more of the wooden spikes, the neverending stream of them having no end in sight as he jumped up higher towards the one that had dodged him. His blade cleaved cleanily through it this time, slicing it in twain as he planted again and pushed off, determined to cut all of the trees down. They weren't nearly as strong as normal trees and cutting through them was fairly easy, but there were more of them than Mitsuo wanted to deal with, and he knew that they were going to eventually cause him issues as fighting the trees would eventually fatigue him.
