Walking along the road, you and your partner come across a strange sight. A crack in the air lays before you. Looking into it, you both spot a world filled with light, and hear a humming sound from within beckoning you to enter. Inside, there's a world where winged beings with human bodies fly about. On notices you and immediately stops you from moving any further into its home. The being appears to be female, wielding a staff with sharpened edges. She doesn't know either of you, but since you're not from her world she assumed you to be demonic invaders. Her logic is, to prove your selves to not be invaders you must fight in a Colosseum type building. You don't know exactly when the onslaught will end, but if you want to leave alive you'll have to prove yourselves.

These guys wield swords made of pure light, and a shield also made of light. They have the durability of a Legendary(+) weapon and armour respectively. The sword deals 40 damage per hit. While they know no magic, they are able to fly at 20mph and are extremely skilled with their swords. They have 400HP, but will admit defeat if knocked down to 50HP.
Boss: Gabriella, the Archangel
The divine Archangel known as Gabriella, a woman who's beauty is beyond words. She has the whitest wings of all the angels, so pure that it even glows with while lights. She is immune to Light element attacks, cannot be stunned, poisoned, burned, corrupted, or slowed. She has the ability to fly, but has a sense of honor that will make it so she will remain on the ground if you cannot fly. She knows 5 spells, and uses 2 Artifact(+) rank swords that each have 2 abilities on them. Her attacks with melee deal 50HP damage per sword. Suriel is an A Rank opponent with 1,000 HP that you and your ally must take down.
Purge D Deals 20HP Damage to all within 15 meters of Suriel (3 post cooldown)
Rebuke C Deals 15HP damage to all within 30 meters, and an additional 10HP damage every post for 4 posts.
Seal B Reduces the MP of both players by 30, deals 25 HP damage to 1 player (1 use only)
Compel A Both players begin to see the light, the error of their ways... nope that's a massive blast of light that's gonna deal 32 damage to all within 60 meters of Suriel and then burn them for 20 damage every post for 2 posts. (7 post cooldown)
Smite S Deals 100 Damage to all within 200 meters of Suriel, deals 50 damage the next post, 25 damage the post after that, and another 100 damage the post after that, then 25 more damage after that post to round it off (1 use only)
Weapon 1
Wings S Suriel can fly
Stun S Opponents of equal or lower rank are paralyzed for 1 post from being hit by this blade. This cannot paralyze the same opponent within 4 posts of a previous paralyzation.
Weapon 2
Loop S 1 time per 5 posts Suriel can reflect an attack back to the attacker
Burn S Opponents hit by this sword will suffer a burn that deals 25 damage per post for 4 posts. This cannot burn the same person within 5 posts of a previous burn, and does not stack
After beating Gabriella, she'll apologize for having confused you for a demon. She states 'as you weren't ripped apart by our holy attacks, you couldn't possibly be demonic.' as her reasoning behind this epiphany of hers. As a way to make up for her forcing you to fight for your life, you (both is in group) are taught to channel spells through your body more efficiently, allowing you to learn an additional spell.
Reward:
2x A Rank XP
1x B Rank Spell Slot
It’d been a spur-of-the-moment trip, one of those “I need to get out of the house” kind of deals that led the (supposedly) young woman to this place. She trusted her guild (or so she thought), loved her guild (or so she thought), but at the same time all these holes made things so…difficult, so confusing. Could she trust them? Did she actually like them, or was that something fabricated? The unknowns forced Mao to seek a certain sense of privacy, at least as far as getting away from people who would recognize and know her, possibly see the difference when she chose to communicate with that entity.
If after all this she chose to stay with them, and recalled her supposed fondness for faces that turned into strangers seemingly by the day then it might be another matter entirely. For now though the tailed woman didn’t want them thinking her insane as she became lost in that mental communication whilst also seeking a few answers from a distant library. The place was a little known for some of its more arcane and old texts, inspiring her choice of destination rather than an aimless walk through the woods. She’d read plenty of interesting works, but ultimately not a single one helped relieve any of the anxiety she gained as of late.
”So eager for answers, yet so afraid to take them when you know where they lie.”
”It’s not as easy as you think…not when she holds a power over me and I do not wish to harm her. I don’t even know how I’ve planned…whatever it is I have planned to date, not with all these memory wipes. Things only appear easy as you’re an outside force.”
”Yes, one who has been watching, and waiting…well, it’s not as if either of us don’t have the time…but your’s will more likely run out before mine. I’d rather view a success than see you fail.”
”And it’s hard to tell whose benefit you speak for,” she murmured aloud, afraid to voice the thought to that other presence. They’d begun haunting her thoughts with increasing frequency to the point she feared someone hearing parts of their conversation. How they would didn’t matter as the paranoia existed all the same, a part of her unsure whether or not he could hear more than just her thoughts anyways and merely opted to remain quiet on it. While Mao believed this entity that declared itself one of her ancestors held some desire to help her, she found it hard to believe at the same time knowing more and more by the day that she was little more than a tool for her people. For all she knew this was merely another way they exerted their control over her, causing the puppet to dance upon its strings for their amusement and personal gain. And yet the shared goals it spoke of…but still she continued to question it.
Lost in thought she continued to walk at a slow pace, nearing the edge of the small town that housed the library. The woman wasn’t eager to return home immediately, but she found little reason to stay in this town as recent knowledge of her purpose wilted her usual desire to read for the sheer pleasure of it.
