    So I've noticed that alot of jobs like to hand out items, and I look at some people who have no slots for these things. I know a few jobs (The ones Feitan made), say if you can't use them, you can get jewel value for them. Can that be an actual thing on the site, instead of job specific?

    Hmm... I have had an idea regarding the item rules as well. Perhaps you can have more than the allowed but can only take the amount stated in the rules into a thread. So for instance, you could have 2 artifact weapons, but unless you did slot exchanging, you can only ever take 1 artifact weapon into a thread.

    I agree with Anastasia and Zack.

    Any item you don't want or need should be exchangeable for jewel. Personally I find the Mirror Mask from "The Idol!" to be useless for some of my characters. That one, and the amulet from "Shine Like the Moon"

    I think if you wish to sell back already purchased items you should be able to get at least a 50% return on your purchase as obviously you bought it and it may be abusable if you could get the whole price back considering that you can just go make the item use it several times decide you don't like it and sell it back. For items that you get from jobs, the unique ones are just supposed to be unique and don't take up item slots they are just fancy extra's as opposed to important creative ones, where as items like the Legendary Item you get from The Hunter which you create yourself may be exchangable for jewels if you already have a full legendary item slot.

    TL;DR items should have a 50% sell back rate assuming you have used the item, items that you get from jobs that are Unique are usually just fluff and have no ranking you don't have to use them if you don't want to but you don't get the option to sell them, items that you get from jobs that fill a slot that is already filled should be exchangeable for jewels of equal quantity.

    Another thing you could consider is if you are part of a guild, you could/should be able to donate those items into your guild vault for later use.

    I believe you already can, if you go to the trading hub you can donate items and jewels to your guild. I may have to double back on the details about items though.

    one thing that has been told to me countless times, and I'll use the Mirror Mask from "The Idol!" example, is that if the item is defined, and you can easily say its not worthy of a 'strong' slot. then it is a free slot item, and I've been told this multiple upon multiple times back when I joined. So that mirror, wouldn't even take a slot. Now if this has been changed, then I 1, feel that is dumb, and 2, feel items that are that crappy, need a buff if they're gonna take a slot, or 3, just be removed and let the player decide if they want to make something or not.

    If that's the case the item should be not take up a slot, as it is just a fluff item and having it doesn't effect power in the slightest. As such it doesn't count as a normal item it's just a free item you can have. Though I can agree that if the item feels extremely underwhelming and seems like you are getting ripped off if the jobs reward fails to reflect its difficulty just so you can have that item, in which case perhaps it would be a better idea to increase the jobs jewel reward instead so you can use those jewels to purchase a more worth while item.
