Heated day at the Stormy Spa.

The last few days for the Flame Demon Slayer of Sabertooth had been less than interesting to say the least. It had been little less than a week after his impromptu B rank Wizard exam that took place in a cave located within the Neutral ground area. It was there that Kite had found himself in a dark and dank cave attack by a small pack of wolves and their alpha, an abnormally large Dire Wolf who like the rest of her pack had been causing nothing but trouble for the locals in the area and were more than trouble for Kite especially with the majority of his time there he was without the use of his magic or his oversized broad sword. So saying that he had gotten pretty banged up from the incident was putting it very mildly to say the least, and the days that had followed were nothing more than him resting about his ship Tailspin licking his array of wounds which included cracked ribs, puncture wounds on his left shoulder, and not to mention his very much wounded pride. However the wounded mage no intention of letting this day be held back by such thoughts and feelings.
The demon slayer had managed to get himself to a seated position in his bed after lying about for a spell and constantly had a question floating around in his mind, the question that plagued Kite’s mind was a very simple question, “ Do you plan on making today another boring day of doing nothing, Are you going let this hurt keep you down another day?” and to this question he shook his head "Nope not today!“ he declared as he firmly planted his feet into the floor panels in his room and forced himself to stand up as straight as his injured torso would allow him to. After letting out a small grunt and a groan from the pain he was completely vertical and with stiff legs made his way towards the ladder which would lead him to the Foredeck of his ship. he climbed the ladder slowly, taking his time to not agitate his any of his hurt and he eventually made it and pulled the panel was not only the top half of the ladder but the actual door to his room and made a sharp right and made his way up the small staircase that led to the cockpit. "If I ain’t gonna go find work, I might as well do nothing in style.“ he slowly placed his butt into the pilot’s chair and pushed several buttons on the panel to his right, the first of the buttons was to close up the boarding ramp and lock it air tight. The second button was to ignite the turbines and fire up the main engine. He waited about five minutes for the turbines to and the engine plenty of warm up time before lift off.
Kite pulled back on the steering column and the turbines which were pointed down at the landing dock pushed the ship into the air and once the altitude was reached he hit a switch and the turbines rotated into the position for the ship to propel itself through the air as it was meant to do. He turned the wheel so the ship’s controls would spin in the right direction and take him south east of his current location towards the small spa town he had heard so much about. "Hoesnka spa..., it better live up to the hype.“

Tailspin was cruising through the sky and it was an amazing thing, in fact some might say that Kite’s most favorite thing about flying a sky ship went far beyond just the simple ability to fly for him it was about the vast openness that never seemed to end, it was like the sea but without any land to to come between it, the clouds were like waves only they didn’t move the boat around the place as they did on the actual sea, instead the ship pushed through the clouds like they weren’t even there. The Demon slayer let his lips move so a smile was formed "I wonder what it would be like to be able to feel those clouds on my face.“ he said as he was too distracted by the wonder that was the open sky to notice that below him and his ship was a lady actually doing the thing he was thinking about, he did however notice that something managed to speed past his his ship but he wasn’t able to get a good look at what it was, let alone a chance to steer clear from it, his eyes were widened not only from the surprise but also from the pain that shot up through his midsection from his jerk like reaction. "What in the hell was that?“ he asked out loud, not rightly sure of what he did just see but before he could play with any ideas to what it was he had just seen it had become clear what it was. Coming up on his right, or the port side of the ship was the unknown object that he had almost hit but it turned out that it wasn’t so much an object as it was a person, a girl for that matter. A girl of extraordinary beauty, silver hair waved in the wind as she matched the ships speed, her sky blue eyes locked onto his red ones and he was in awe from the sight but as fast as she had appeared she had already was gone, far ahead of Tail spin, heading in the same general direction that Kite was going. "I don’t know what that was… or who she was… but she was certainly a sight to behold.“ he said as he leaned back into his chair. He let a smirk come across his face "I don’t know who you are, but you just made it impossible to find a girl half as pretty as you at Hosenka.“ he declared, knowing full well that nothing for the rest of the day would match her beauty.

The rest of his trip to Hosenka was peaceful and went without any issues and without any interesting events quite like the one he had experienced a ways back. "So this is Hosenka?“ he paused as he took a gander at the small town "Huh, not much to it. Good will make things simple as i try to find my way around.“. He let the ship land a little ways off the main path that lead into the town and let his ship slowly descent down, activating the landing gear which was in the form of four long leg like constructs and with in seconds the ship was now on the ground with the boarding ramp now opened he used his the arm of his chair to aid in his attempt to stand up which was a slow and painful motion but he eventually was upright. The time had come, he was gonna take a few days to rest up, fix his hurt and then go back to the working life he was use to. He exited the cockpit and went through the foredeck and down to the cargo bay after walking around the winding catwalk above. The fresh air had already entered the bay through the entrance ramp’s opening and Kite inhaled deeply, taking in the scents as well as the fresh air "yup, this was a good idea.“ it was at that moment, the image of the woman entered his mind again, it was like he couldn’t get her out of his mind, "I wonder if I will see her ever again.“ he said, a bit disheartedly knowing that it wasn’t likely to happen.

Kite had stopped walking or more correctly he stopped limping and stood still on catwalk leaning on the railing while basking in the fresh air that graced his ship while letting the image of the lady who had taken flight along with his ship entered and exited his mind in an instant causing him to sigh before resuming his approach to the lower level of the carbo bay. Kite used the railing on the catwalk stairs to aid him on his descent down them and while it took him a bit longer than it usually would have but his injuries made his travel time longer. That little fact didn’t go a miss and it slightly frustrated from it, angered from the injuries he had sustained from his special task set before him by Aiyana, "Oh, I can’t wait until this bit of hindranceness to be good and over with. “ he declared to himself as he limped his way down the ramp and closed it behind him and limped his way into the town. He was normally dressed, black pants, black sleeveless sweater like top and boot but he left his sword and shoulder guards behind and had the suspender straps hanging down at his sides mainly because of the shape his shoulder was in and the range of motion it was lacking.

The town wasn’t far from the ship and in a gingerly like manner Kite made his way into the small yet busy area of the village, looking around at the sights. There were restaurants, shops and many spas "There seems to be several things to do. But I suppose.“ he was saying out loud but stopped as a small group of kids ran by, one bumped into him but before he got far Kite had him by the collar of his shirt and pulled him back and opened his hand up "Cough it up.“ the kid then slapped Kite’s wallet into his hand and was released to go thiefing on someone else. "and with that it might be best I go to where I’ll be staying.“ he said as he approached the building ahead of him, it wasn’t the highest rated or anything but it was cheap and well kept all the same and miles better than the confines of his ship or at least that is how it was at that point due to having to adapt with his injuries. "]Sakaura Hotel and spa is it? Sounds nice enough to me.” he entered the building and took walked through what would be the lobby and waited his turn at the check in desk. “Yes sir how may I help you?” the male clerk asked to which Kite responded "I’d like to rent a room if that’s possible.“ he said placing the jewel on the counter. “right away Sir! we welcome all business, may I have a name sir and would you like a guild discount?.” Kite heard this and went along with the unprecedented luck that had taken place "The name is Kite Wilhelm and sure Sabertooth.“ he showed his guild crest which was proof enough for the clerk. “Okay sir take a seat over there and we will prepare your room.” Kite nodded and did so taking a seat, not realizing the silver haired beauty he saw was right across the room.

Kite had given the man all the information he had asked for in the form of his name and the guild he was apart of. His name was the most important piece of information for him to give, it was how he was going to get him a room to stay in for the night. He wasn’t expecting to get much of a discount as a result of being in a specific guild. He was soon pleasantly surprised to see the man’s face light up in sheer delight. “Oh very good my fine sir.” he paused for a second and pulled out a little stack of notecards and started to go through them. Kite had no clue to what these note cards would have on them but it would soon become apparent that these note cards had the different names of the Magic guilds on them. It didn't take long for him realize that these cards had the discounts of which he had spoke of. Kite stood there in silence until the manager let out in an ecstatic tone “Ahh-haaa! Sabertooth.” he said letting a paused drift into his train of thought and looked up at the Demon Slayer enough for him to feel slightly uncomfortable with it for a second but he was soon put at ease when the manager began to speak once more “It looks like you get a free night and unlimited massage time. Not bad, not bad at all.” he added to his statement and looked at Kite who had a smirk on his face. There he was standing in a nice place in the form of a hotel in a village that was an active spa. "Well, ain’t that a nice little discount“ he added his own personal annotation to the conversation. He was curious to why such a discount existed but he wasn’t going to ask or complain about it. Kite looked at the manager and shrugged "So what’s next? I’m sorry I am not use luxury like this.“ he admitted to manager, the closest thing he had to luxury in his life was his ship and while he loved his ship more than just about anywhere else he had lived it wasn’t exactly a high class establishment such as the one he was standing in. The manager walked over to Kite and placed a hand on his back and started to guide him towards where the rooms were located. “ No problem sir. You just put your faith in our capable hands. Kite nodded but the idea of putting his faith in another blindly in such away made him feel weary but he went along with it any way, following the man as best as he could his injuries still affecting his movement.

“This is your room.” he said plainly but cheerfully opening the door for Kite. “ Sir if you can change out of your clothes and into the robes provided we can fix your outfit for you, it's a bit holey.” Kite looked at his outfit "I guess it has seen better days.“ he admitted. The Sabertooth mage shut the door behind him and then changed out of his battle damaged clothes and into a much softer white robe. It was one of the softest things he had ever felt before in his life. "Not the best for combat but I should get one for the ship, this is nice. So manager person, what’s next?“ he awaited for a response “ Go to the bath house and soak for a while, it will loosen up your body and relax your spirit which by the looks of you, it needs relaxing too. Kite clenched his fist but then released it, "Fine.“ is all he said as he exited his room and made his way to the bath house. There was a wooden fence that separated two sides of the pool, and genders but that wasn’t of concern for Kite, he wasn’t there to peep on half naked women, he was there to relax but either way he walked along the fence and sunk into the water, using the fence as a back rest. It took about a minute but his muscles felt a bit better but one problem occurred during his rest. His body heat was so high that he couldn’t feel the heat from the hot spring one bit. "Should i turn up the heat a bit? will I feel it?“ he asked as he attempted to do so.
