Job Location: Mysterious Canyon
Job Description:
A man by the name of Markov Shazinski was hired by Masenko Tech to infiltrate Isayev Heavy Industries to steal their latest Magitek Suit, The Tesseract. What his actual intentions are unknown, but he was last seen heading through the Mysterious Canyon towards the Royal Castle. From the looks of things, Markov had also infiltrated Masenko Tech to suit his own purpose. Your job is to take down The Tesseract unit without destroying it. Be careful as The Tesseract comes fully loaded with a LOT of weaponry and a lot of drones at it's disposal. This was, after all, a weapon meant to be used to conquer nations.
What little we know about Markov Shazinski is that he used to be a mage for a small dark guild called "Heaven's Wrath" who wanted to overthrow the government of Fiore. We don't know the reason why they want to overthrow the government of Fiore, but what we do know is that if he manages to get The Tesseract unit to the Royal Castle, that may be the end of our society as we know it. So failure is not an option.
After you enter the Mysterious Canyons, you will encounter the Tesseract unit from the start. Be careful when fighting as it can summon a bunch of smaller drones from within it. You may or may not have to encounter the small drones. Be very wary if you're going to fly near it in a large vehicle as it will immediately aim for airships. So we suggest to not bring any airships with you on this mission. Good luck and godspeed. You can't fail this one so we're counting on you.
Enemies:
Weak -
Nano-Machine Swarm: Thousands of microscopic machines bundle up into what appears to be clouds of haze. While they move slowly, if one is to come in contact with the cloud, they suffer A Rank DoT damage for 5 posts (50% A Rank damage initially, 25% A Rank damage every post afterward). These swarms are able to withstand 1 A Rank hit before being destroyed.
Normal -
Suicide Drones: These drones are capable of curling themselves up into a ball and rolling around on the surface. These drones can be taken down by 4 A Rank hits. Upon being destroyed or being out for 3 posts, they will explode dealing A Rank damage to a 10x10 area. One drone exploding can cause others to explode as well, creating a chain reaction. These drones have no other attacks.
Strong -
Autonomous Orbital Units: Extremely quick and extremely agile. These airborne mechanical nightmares are capable of spitting out focused beams of pure energy at a target at a high rate. Each beam deals B Rank damage, but they are capable of firing this beam up to 4 times per volley. These things are quite difficult to track, but they are extremely flimsy; being capable of being taken down in 3 A Rank hits.
Boss - When a boss is rolled, you obtain 3x Strong Monsters
Main Enemy- Spoiler:
Designation: MkM-717a Tesseract
Height: 45 ft (22.86m) tall
Weight: 21.7 metric tons
HP: Requires an equivalent of 20 A Rank hits to take down
Weapons:
- 4x Plasma Blasters attached to tentacle-like appendages.
(Each Blaster deals A Rank damage)

(Fire-Based grenades that attack everything within a 30m radius for A Rank damage -- Only has 5 of these)
Abilities:
- Quad-Barreled Mega Blaster
(This ability combines the 4 Plasma Blasters together, dealing S Ranked damage to a target. This attack has a 4 post cooldown)
- Magical Reflection Barrier
(This ability allows the armor to bounce back spells up to A Rank back at it's opponent. Does not work against AoE. This has a 5 post cooldown)
Reward: 60,000 Jewels, +1000 Jewels for every Weak, Normal, Strong Monster defeated (Max of 10), One person obtains the Target Finder. Whomever claims the Target Finder item only gains 25% of the Jewel Rewards. (Please indicate who gets this item upon turning in the job)
The Target Finder is an item that allows you to lock-on to a single target. This requires 1 post to acquire a target. The following post, a large laser beam, the Quad-Barreled Mega Blaster from the Tesseract Unit, will come from the sky crashing down upon the designated target dealing 2x your rank in damage to a single target (Capping at S Rank). The Target Finder may only be used once per topic. This attack has a 5x5 meter blast radius. This item cannot be used in PvP at all.
Somewhere between Mount Hargeon and the city of Rose Garden lies a mysterious canyon.
Within this place was one of the greatest threats the nation of Fiore had ever seen, a mechanical behemoth of unbridled power and destructive potential. The inevitable result of human greed and lust for power, the terror known as 'weapon of mass destruction' was currently shrouded by the high walls of this canyon. Unbeknownst to this abomination of science, though perhaps not surprising, a certain gray haired mage was riding hard for its current domain on the back of a spiritual steed.
For once, Dmitry Kazakov was entirely focused on the mission at hand. There were no illusions of napping under trees after a quick and easy job this time, the wind blowing through his hair as the horse spirit Alsvinder conveyed him to his target. When he was first made aware of this mission and that he had been recommended for it, his initial thought was that it was the Council's problem or perhaps the problem of the company that manufactured it. Dmitry had been made aware of Isayev heavy industries while working with the Banfield trade company so many years ago and even then, he could tell they were dangerous. It seemed his hunch was right, as this weapon he was faced with now was spawned by what he could only concede was hubris. As he arrived at the canyon the machine was reportedly seen in, Dmitry stopped near the edge and peered into the depths.
Just as he thought he could see a figure, a strange bolt of some substance unknown to the medium blasted through the stone cliff beneath him, causing Alsvinder to fall into the canyon. While the horse was able to react quickly enough to leap across several of the boulders as they fell, ultimately it couldn't maintain enough balance to keep from landing face first into the ground, it's form dissipating completely from the force.
Of course, that meant that Dmitry would hit the ground shortly after and despite the fact the horse spirit's destruction dampened the fall a bit, he still ended up tumbling about ten feet before slowing to a stop and landing face up on his back...again.
"Damnit, I'm gettin' real sick of this fallin' shit..." He grumbled as he pushed himself to his feet. "Well, nobody said it was gonna be easy...what with the doomsday device and all."
A silver, smoke-like aura began to swirl around Dmitry as he saw the figure begin to move, unmistakably mechanical in it's motion.
"Well...might as well get started."
